I really needed some insight into my autoimmune issues. Keep in mind, Sequencing does not diagnose. I was able to read the reports, and they were explained in depth. I saw some things I expected, and some I did not. My biggest surprise was the number of different meds in my body that I have not taken in almost a year. It is a large report that you can download and print out. I sincerely feel it was worth the money I paid. It will enable me to take some of the information to my doctor to help with my treatments. It also gave me peace of mind that some diseases were not listed or listed as low risk.

This is beyond amazing - I've been looking for help and direction with several conditions and it helped me finally ask the right questions with my doctors - I have no doubt it saved be!

Went smoothly, got my results. Overall decent, results a little more confusing to read than expected.
However, I didn't realize they automatically sign you up for a $30/month USD + tax subscription plan. so be careful.
Update: sequence refunded my money within hours of the review. Really appreciate the costumer service, so adjusted to 4/5. Still think it shouldn't be automatic

This service assisted me in becoming aware of conditions present in my body so I can plan for future medical care. I know the Department of Veterans Affairs could benefit from working with this entity to ensure a more accurate scope of care for our nation's heroes and ensure they accurately receive benefits and medals that they deserve.

I purchased the kit to test for the BRCA gene. My results came back Medium Confidence Risk LD for BRCA2. I took my results to my doctor and she scheduled an appointment with a gene oncologist. The gene oncologist would not accept the results from sequencing.com and ordered his own test. I just received my results back from the doctor and they conflict with the results I received from sequencing.com. Turns out, I do not have the BRCA2 gene but the doctor's test did identify a gene ATM that sequencing missed. I wasted a $1000 on inaccurate results. The reports are hard to read and aren't even accurate so don't waste your money.

Honestly speaking, at first my experience started a little rough. The first test didn’t seem to be testable. I had reached out to find out what the issue was. The man who I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. He resolved my issue by sending me a new test kit and he made certain that it was expedited! I was impressed that I didn’t get any run around. Second test results came back very quickly and I was impressed by the turnaround time. I’ve paid for the higher level because I am concerned about my health. This came with update results and insights into my DNA. My recent issue was not being able to generate the new data. I contacted them again and they, again, expedited my issue and in an hour I was able to get my new monthly report. Bonus? They even gave me two free monthly reports free! They didn’t have to go that far but they did. I rarely get service from companies like this. They’re amazing, helpful and kind. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to have Genetic Testing. They can’t do genetic counseling but I will seek out one ASAP because I have concerns.

I had gotten burned by Nebula, so I looked pretty closely at these guys. They provided good feedback on sequencing progress, which was reassuring.

The reports are ai commentary wrapped around SNP's that are salient for, say, the cardio pulmonary system. The reports show risk, possible risk, carrier, medicine risk, unknown, known no risk for your SNP variance from the reference human genome, with good commentary based on research around the specific variation - there is a lot out there in public sources.

But in addition, they provide an explorer app that allows you to examine your entire genome with references to public data about known variances.

And they provide the raw FastQ data (off the machine) and processed VCF files (though not the intermediate processed BAM/SAM files - though they might on special request). Also an "ultimate compatibility" file which you can upload to other analysis services. In any case, you can preserve the files locally for the future.

I'm pleased with the price, what I got, and timely sequencing. I haven't so far had any interaction with their customer service.

The reports are easy to navigate, incredibly thorough, and the information they have provided regarding my health has been invaluable to me.

This was the best decision and purchase I’ve made in my life; I’m extremely grateful for the sale that made it possible for me to purchase the kit. The results provided to me have been a little overwhelming with how much information there is to delve through, but the AI reports and specific gene search sections are making it easier to tackle section by section while providing insight and knowledge of the possible medical problems each mutation can cause. I was showing many symptoms of Lupus and my rheumatologist didn’t think that my symptoms fit that; she diagnosed me with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome instead for one grouping of my symptoms. The sequencing results point to two types of EDS and Lupus, so clarity and confirmation of this and other suspected ailments has been both empowering and relieving to finally have answers.

I ordered a small genome package, then read a bunch of negative comments on line. So I asked for a refund and got it with no BS. That's the customer service every company should have. I was also provided with a very clear, not defensive, explanation of the mis information as well as clarification and correct information. I immediately purchased the largest genome package I could afford. The information in the reports have given me a ton of clarity about my personal health. It has given me tools to have in my medical tool chest to advocate for myself! I have knowledge that no one would ever know without having done this. While some of it is very intimidating, it's really more valuable than scary. I wish I could keep going with the annual plan but sadly I can't afford that. From the kit's arrival to the ultimate results, everything was trackable on its website.
Besides all the results, I could download my genetic files to research them.

Walked me through the entire process. Very fast turn around time. Easy to understand.

I have used three different DNA testing companies trying to get to the root of some family health issues. 23andme gave broad insight into ancestry, traits and a very few specific diseases; it's raw data was not easy to search from its site, but you could upload it into other specific search sites. Ancestry.com gives excellent ancestry info and makes integrating it into genealogy easy. Only sequencing.com found the suspected rare health issues and created reports that were easily accepted and understood by my doctors. While i wouldn't recommend it for genealogy work, sequencing.com is the clear choice for medical and genetic investigations.

Sequencing has helped me identify many things that I can easily submit reports to a doctor. The reports provide so much valuable information.

I love a company that provides what they said they would, and so much more! Sequencing changed the trajectory of our focus, by providing answers to so many medical questions we had. Not only were the reports detailed and easy to understand but they were also categorized to steer us in the right direction for follow up with physicians. The emails with updates were very much appreciated and knowing that the DNA data will not be sold, adds another level of trust and comfort, to this whole process. Very highly recommend.

The staff went above and beyond to help me get my sequencing done to get it to my doctors in the hospital as I had submitted it prior to being admitted. Their customer service is 10/10.
