Scam AC units

Ordered an in stock AC unit only to find they evidently do not have stock. No communications from them after multiple requests for an update.

Purchased an ‘In stock’AC unit

Purchased an ‘In stock’AC unit, received an email stating your order is on its way, when I look at the tracking all it has said for the last 8 days is Label created, so it hasn’t even been despatched. Contacted them via email and was told it would be despatched at the end of the week, well here we are and still not despatched and still saying label created. Do not recommend buying from this company

Orders don’t arrive.
Ordered Saturday, 6 days later and no tracking, not dispatched - get reply to emails saying it’s awaiting DPD collecting it - load of rubbish. Won’t use or recommend

In stock advertised AC bought, marked as despatched but, DPD say they havent got it. Emails unanswered and no one to answer yiur calls. Enough said……

Avoid this shady company

Bought an AC from them, they took the money and never dispatched the AC. A DPD shipping label was issued swiftly, however, the status has for more than a week been "we have not received your item". Serenlife's customer support number is useless, the calls go directly to voicemail. Emails are answered with a significant delay. In their initial email they blamed DPD, later they blamed the heatwave. I asked them three times when they are expecting to ship the AC and never received a concrete answer.
I have now sent an email cancelling the order and will take the case directly to HSBC for them to deal with these shady individuals.

Update: a day after posting this, they did send the AC which is.... broken!!! The screen is dead and the unit appears to have been opened before. The AC is not responding to button presses at all!

I’d give zero stars if I could

I’d give zero stars if I could. I bought a trampoline for my toddlers for Christmas from them. The weight rating was 200lbs at the time, now listed as 330lbs. In less than 6 months, all the straps holding the trampoline to the frame unraveled and the trampoline fell through. This trampoline had limited use and never over 100lbs, far lower than the weight rating. I filed a warranty claim and they said this catastrophic failure was considered “normal wear and tear” and they wouldn’t replace it. Personally, I consider an issue of that magnitude to be “malfunctions that occur under normal, intended use”, as stated in their warranty. After a few back and forth emails they decided to allow me to pay 75% of the cost of a new one and they’d replace it. What a joke. If every single strap on the trampoline fraying and breaking at the same time causing the trampoline to fall through is considered normal, then their products are trash quality. Not to mention extremely dangerous. One strap breaking, sure, maybe that’s normal wear and tear. But all of them essentially disintegrating? That’s a manufacturing defect if I’ve ever seen one. But they disagree.

Purchased a portable AC unit on Amazon…

Purchased a portable AC unit on Amazon and it worked for two summers. I contacted support and they were exceptionally unhelpful and stopped responding after the second email of me further describing the problem of no cooling air. Don’t waste your money!!

scam site

scam site. they use some payment provider which asks for one time passcode. They pose as if sending from stripe. But the actual message comes from chase. They are trying to use the code to enroll your card in their digital wallet. Here is the message I got "Use this one-time activation code to enroll your Chase credit card to your digital wallet:. Chase will never call you for this code."

Steam sauna worked for 22 days

I was bought a home steam sauna for Christmas and only used it for the first time on the 1st January, it is now the 23rd January and the unit will not produce steam nor heat up. After reading the reviews of this company I am sad that I cant see anything being sorted out either. The unit is pathetically made, the plastic lid that the steam hose connects to does not fasten closed and steam pours out of the top of it before getting to the hose unless I tie the lid down with string. Abysmal design and awful quality obviously, I would say 3 weeks use is completely awful for a product this dear. Avoid this company like the plague.

Tried contacting the company three…

Tried contacting the company three times now. Once to an email I received asking how my order was, once to an online form I filled out via a link followed through Amazon to their website, and again today replying to that same email I got asking about my order. No reply’s have been given since and that was over two weeks ago. I never received the main fun for the paddle board. If I have to I will just return the entire board and buy one from another company. I’m very disappointed with this company’s customer service.

Update:
Company replied to second email to tell me they won’t be replacing the fin as it was purchased as open box with minor cosmetic damage. No where in the add did it say anything about missing parts.

Their ACs Don't Work and They Don't Give Refunds

I bought the 3-in-1 portable AC from SereneLife on Amazon, using a payment plan. I assembled the air conditioner, and when I turned it on the air wasn't cold (it was actually warm). I waited for like two hours, and it sometimes blew cool air for short periods, but would inevitably go back to blowing warm air. I decided to return it, but when I filled out the form the company said I didn't have to ship it back (they would just give me a partial refund of my first payment on the payment plan).

The Amazon site said I got the refund, but I never saw it in my bank account (I even called the bank two weeks later to confirm this). On top of that, I got charged for the second installment in the payment plan! In short, my overall experience with this product was very negative. I highly recommend going with a more established brand such as LG or Black & Decker (I got an LG air conditioner after this experience and it's been great).

I wish I could give it 0 stars.

I need a replacement window mount kit for my SLPAC180W 8000 BTU Portable A/C unit from SereneLife. I don't know whether they forgot to send me the kit, or if I accidentally discarded it, but I have torn my house apart to no avail. However, the company does not sell any replacement parts. Furthermore, they won't give me any specs so that I can search for a 3rd party kit. The dimensions of the exhaust vent on the back of the unit appear to be fairly unique, but I can't get anyone at the company to confirm the dimensions or point me in the direction of a coupler that will be compatible, so I'm stuck with a useless $300 piece of junk and no way to exhaust it. I'm very frustrated right now!

Avoid This Company

We purchased and installed this unit in June 2024. We used it intermittently for 2 months and then stored it until this June. We installed it right before a heat wave, and discovered the cooling no longer worked, just the fan.

I contacted SereneLife immediately. They replied on June 7 and apologized. The company stated they would send us a replacement unit and to expect a notice of shipment. On June 16, we still had not received a notice of shipment, so I reached out to SereneLife again. They stated that they had a high volume of requests, and our order was being processed. On June 24, we STILL had not received a notice of shipment. I emailed the company and requested a refund. They replied today and stated that to receive a refund, I would need to ship the unit to them at my own expense.

******Be warned! SereneLife has poorly made products, and they DO NOT follow through on their promises.******
