I give a 1 because I can’t give 0. I have sent a cancelling email as the cancellation form was asking for private information that they didn’t need to know. They keep on sending email asking for the payment when I have been trying to cancel for a month.
They stopped bothering after a while. 6 months down the track, I received an email from a debt collector with an exorbitant bills.
You are a really poor company. You make it impossible to cancel. You are asking for personal information. You are only after the money. This site is a scam.

Expérience décevante et traitement inhumain
J’ai été extrêmement déçue par la façon dont Coup de Foudre 50+ gère les rétractations.
Après avoir demandé à résilier mon abonnement, j’ai perdu immédiatement l’accès à ma messagerie, sans possibilité de prévenir les contacts avec lesquels j’échangeais. Résultat : une personne s’est déplacée à un rendez-vous sans que je puisse l’en informer.
Quand j’ai écrit au service client pour leur expliquer, j’ai reçu une réponse automatisée, froide et rigide, sans aucune proposition de solution, ni geste de courtoisie.
Aucune compassion, aucun sens du respect humain.
Tout est traité comme un simple “contrat” sans aucune attention portée à la réalité des interactions humaines.
Je déconseille cette plateforme à toute personne qui cherche un minimum de bienveillance ou un service client réellement à l’écoute.

Sa opp mitt medlemskap i 2023, på rett sted, og riktig side på singles.com.
I mai mnd. 2025 fikk jeg brev i postkassen. Inkassokrav på ca. 700 euro.
Et og et halvt år etter at jeg sa opp medlemskapet!
Ikke hørt et ord/mail fra singles50 før dette skjedde. I og med deres elendige rykte i forhold til svindelforsøk, tok jeg det for det er...SVINDEL! Fikk nytt brev fra inkasso selskapet 9/7, som syntes jeg hadde fått lang nok tid til å betale. Maken til frekkhet. STYR UNNA!!

Jeg prøver forgæves at stille spørgsmål til kundeservice ud fra en mail de lige har sendt mig med nye oplysninger om min tid hos den. Til trods for jeg svarer tilbage i samme mail fra den e-mail adresse de kender mig på, får jeg bare et svar tilbage om at de ikke kender min mailadresse. Umuligt at få besvaret spørgsmål der omhandler oplysninger de lige har sendt.

There are genuine people looking for relationships on the site. However what disappoints me are all the "fake" profiles with the camera icon on all of the photos.
These women are stunning yet there is no backdrop and all look liked photoshopped faces from the internet, all the women look American!!!! It so misleading as you cannot contact them, so why are the profile sup there, bad form for people looking for real love.

A negative 0 if I could. I have never signed up to this nor would I ever. I received a legal letter from a solicitor in Germany threatening legal action if I didn’t pay! The legal action threatens garnishee of wages, taken to court in a foreign country and even arrest.
Do not know how they got my address. I am not a dating app person. I have reported to the ACCC.

If there was a zero rating I would have chosen that. Don't use this dating site. You are trapped in a cycle of them trying to debit your card- they appear great with the welcome messages and advice but it is truly operating to exploit people. I've put in a complaint to my bank as I followed all the guidelines and my bank even said they have so many complaints about Singles 50 but they seem to know the loopholes. Choose another site. Ive just read the reply from Singles 50-none of what they say is correct or truthful. When on the site other users are warning everybody else how you operate. I know my way around sites but yours is setup to trap people. Do better Singles 50- I hope your generic reply doesnt fool anyone else. Its a pity you dont put the same service into your customers as you do with your defence of my review.

I totally agree with all the other 1-star reviews here. This website doesn't clearly show its members how to cancel their subscription, saying there is a link at the bottom of the website, but there is NO SUCH LINK when logged in as a member.
See the content below from the Singles50 customer services email I was sent. It clearly states that there is a link at the bottom of the website, when there clearly is NO SUCH LINK when logged in as a member.
"You can easily cancel your Premium Membership Subscription by using our cancellation form, located at the bottom of our homepage."
Their website has a link, but it only appears when logged out—GO FIGURE?
The link (when logged out) does not even work! It's a dead link, so how are we supposed to contact customer service using this link at the bottom of the website when it doesn't even lead to the cancel membership webform?
You can only use a webform (when logged in) that is hidden in the FAQs section (which took me 10 minutes to find) to write to the customer service team to cancel.
It is entirely unclear how to find the webform. If you state you have a link at the bottom of the home page, when you actually have the link hidden in one of the FAQs pages, it is onerous and NOT easily accessible.
They also have unclear billing. It looks to me like I was paying a monthly subscription but its actually a weekly payment charged monthly which is not clear when paying online. The subscription is actually 4 to 5 times the cost I assumed I was going to pay. I assumed I was going to be charged $25.00 but I was billed $99.00 — (4 weeks usage billed monthly).
This website does not comply with the Australian Consumer Protection Laws below in clauses 64 to 66 because its subscription payment process is obscure and unclear about what you are being charged for each month.

66. Online dating sites should clearly disclose the process for cancellation and accept notice of termination by email or other form of electronic communication (e.g. web form). D & R sites should ensure that cancellation processes are accessible and not onerous.

Varning för detta företag! De drog ett betydligt större belopp än det som jag tackade ja till, 2376 kr istället för 100 kr i månaden i 6 månader! Har försökt att få kontakt med dem, har kontaktat banken och polisanmält.

I would give this site a zero if I can. My experience is very similar to the experience of others who have been on Singles50 Plus. Difficulty cancelling membership, cancellation timeframes that are ridiculously long, debt collection and now litigation for a subscription I cancelled. If Singles50 Plus was serious about improving its image, it would reflect on the comments on this website and cease and desist all debt collection/litigation actions. In lieu it should rectify the numerous shortcomings on its site that have been cited again and again.

I took an hour to set up my profile because Singles50 advertised - register and connect for free for one month. Excited with getting a response quickly, I went to read the message, only to be told, I need to subscribe in order to engage with messages. I have no problem paying a subscription if its transparent from the start. Singles50 definitely is not transparent. I then decided to search reviews and have another look at my profile. The prompt questions had been changed and weren't the ones I'd chosen. The reviews were not good. I was excited to meet someone after being single for a very long time - my choice. And this site has put me off any dating apps!

Yes, a scam, just like the others say here; they count on you signing up, and then you can't unsubscribe. It's AI-based, bogus profiles with other scammers lurking behind. I am trying to see if I can track them to a real address as they pretend to be based in Luxembourg.

I joined yesterday with the $9.95 membership, was charged $238.80 photos still locked and I sent email to cancel. Will have to call bank.
