I bought the Skylight Calendar with the purpose of helping our family become more organised — especially with two teenagers in the house! And it has truly made a difference.
Now everyone can clearly see their schedule, upcoming events, school activities, and family plans in one place. It has helped us reduce confusion, last-minute stress, and constant reminders. My teenagers can check their own to-do lists and responsibilities independently, which encourages accountability and time management.
What I love most is that it brings structure without creating pressure. It feels supportive rather than overwhelming. We can also plan holidays and family events together, and everyone feels included.

Is good but not great, sidekick makes mistakes often despite making the inputs simple, far easier to just enter events yourself. Still glad I have it but just the hype was it was amazing

I originally thougth I would have to pay a subscription for ability to have one vertical photo presented at a time tather than two, but this was not the case. The Skylight team were helpful in pointing out the settings which could be toggled on or off, and I have now done so.

The Skylight frame and app are very user friendly. Grandparents love receiving surprise photos of the grandchildren as well as adding some themselves. They've been adding photos regularly for years and haven't reached capacity yet!

Love the pictures and the combining any calendars. My 3 and 5 year old are working on their tasks, and my au pair and partner can easily see what the week looks like!

Exactly what the wife and I needed. As I do shift work and work away communication is hard sometimes but now we seem to be on the same page alot more often than not.

I caved in and bought this because I thought it would be a life saver. In truth it’s quite good, but the price makes it impossible to feel it’s totally worth it. Especially with the annual subscription. Additionally, where I was initially wowed with the image and voice it imports recently they’ve been so glitchy and the quality of the automation has been poor.
It’s also deeply problematic that for uk purchasers there is not product warranty just the three months money back guarantee if it’s not for you. For the fee that’s just not good enough the product warranty should be at the very least a year. I do find the support to be good and helpful especially when they do new releases if you face some glitches. They’ve resolved all queries and do so really nicely, which honestly I think is quite rare these days. It’s also a great looking bit of kit, with quite a nice set of features. The app is quite decent too. There’s a load of things I’d love to see added. It would be great to set automatic reminders on certain events at set intervals without having to create whole other events for example. It would be good to have set birthdays tag and a place to view birthdays, it would be nice to make it a more holistic family organiser in order to justify the costs! It’s good but I’m not sure that we use it as extensively as neccessary to justify the cost. I thought we’d use the rewards and routines but kids aren’t fussed. Nor do we use the meals aspect
