Very disappointing experience with your company. Ordered 11 items items for a Christmas present. One item missing and one other box damaged. The items looked like they were just thrown in the box and were not protected well at all. Emailed customer service who responded within 24 hours offering an apology and saying missing item was being sent today. We’ll see if it turns up now. Absolutely no mention of the damaged box from items having just been thrown in box with very little protection to stop damage during transit. Wish I’d have read the recent consumer reviews which make pretty poor reading before placing my order now. I won’t be ordering again from this company and would advise others to avoid if you value your items being delivered in a gift worthy condition. I can see the company responses about taking on feedback of consumers about recent issues, but it only helps the customer if you actually act on what people are saying !!

I read so many excellent product reviews but so many so-so contact reviews. All I can say, having used Snowdonia Cheese for the first time, is that both their products AND their contact services are beyond criticism. Their kindness, professionalism and sheer determination to ensure my order was handled as only a quality company can has ensured my participation in the future. 5 star. MICHAEL.

Paid for nominated day delivery. No delivery confirmation nothing! Did not turn up! Can’t get through on the phone. no reply via email or contact form. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I ordered a gift for friends, I couldn’t see anywhere on the website to add a gift message or gift wrapping. Sent an email immediately following my order to ask about gift messages and to explain that there was none on the website. The order was dispatched before they even answered the email, meaning it was sent without any gift message. My friends then had to message to ask if I’d sent it. The email response when it was received was unhelpful. The order was also left outside in the greenhouse by the delivery company. - perishable? Rodents? Disappointing and won’t be bothering to buy from this company again.

Ordered on the 11th, got no order confirmation, I emailed on the 17th got a reply on the 18th saying it's being delivered on the 19th, but they also said I could cancel that order and they'll send it out right away, which makes no sense because if it's being delivered on the next day it'll already have been shipped. I emailed back to ask for some clarity but have not received a reply and it's been a day. Been trying to ring but can't get through.
This is the last chance for a reply or I'm contacting the bank to get a refund.

UPDATE: on the 19th I received an email saying it has been shipped and I received the order on the 20th. All items are correct and products are all good. Changed the rating back to a 4 star, would have been 5 star if there were better communication.

Not impressed ,first time i used them,paid for a spefic day delivery but during day of delivery got notification from courier advising it would be delivered next day.Tried calling so called customer service 8 times but always getting diverted to answer service,no call back,sent email ,lets see if they respond in the 1 day they say!

Placed order in 11/12/25. Wanted it to be delivered in time for Xmas!
Still nothing, it hasn’t been dispatched!
Tried calling, nobody answers, leave messages no one returns the call. Have emailed many times with no response! How the hell can you run a company with absolutely shocking customer service!

I should have read the reviews. I paid for nominated day delivery but it was delivered almost a week early. This was a Christmas gift - no longer feels like this as it’s been delivered so far in advance of Christmas Day. No reply to phone calls, messages, or email. Very poor customer service. I can’t speak for the cheese as it’s a gift. Have given 2 stars in anticipation of that aspect being ok. I will pursue the cost of delivery through my credit card since I’m getting no response to my communication attempts.

I used Gpay to pay for my order. The website assumed the billing address and delivery address were the same and automatically took payment without giving me the opportunity to review the order or enter the correct delivery address.

Its cost me another £10 to send to the correct address.
Email reply which said it was due to their efficient and prompt delivery process - which is true, unfortunately to the wrong address.

Ordered cheese and some fig chutney Sunday and paid for nominated date being today as its my birthday, arrived prompt well packed and the cheese is wonderful, ordered 4 including the cheese containing pickled onion just yummy, also tryed the cranberry and can't complain. Thank you

I placed an order for Christmas presents - two hampers. Delivery showed 2 to 4 days. Four days later nothing has shipped and I wont get these for Christmas. Once was for my brother who has cancer, so I will have no present to give him when I visit him at Christmas. No one answers phone line provided. Terrible customer service and a very sad outcome for Christmas for us.

I have never dealt with a company which claims luxurious with no customer services at all. I made an order, had to reschedule delivery due to recepients being unavailble but I have tried to call for 2 days now at different times and no one ever answers the phone!!! I didn't bother with emails so that's a gift hamper gone to waste because cheese will be stale once delivered. I doubt there are cooling facilities at DHL. NEVER AGAIN!!!

A company best avoided. An order of mine has allegedly gone missing, despite having been charged to my bank account! Customer service is appalling. No one answers telephone calls and repeated attempts to elicit an adequate e-mail response from me have been ignored. Mae'r gwasanaeth yn gwbl warthus.

I ordered several Decadent Cheese Hampers as seasonal gifts for colleagues and external partners, and the service from Snowdonia Cheese was excellent from start to finish. Mark kept me updated on delivery plans, was quick to confirm payment and dates, and shared clear Royal Mail tracking details for each recipient, which was really helpful for corporate gifting. Everything felt organised, reliable and friendly, and it made the whole process very easy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future gifting.

Contaminated hampers with rodent droppings – company refused full refund despite photo evidence
I ordered £600 worth of luxury Christmas hampers as corporate client gifts. Thank goodness I had them delivered to me first rather than straight to the clients.
When I opened the first hamper the smell was unbearable. Inside I found multiple rodent droppings, badly damaged and leaking packaging, and several broken items. The condition was so severe that
I immediately contacted the company with clear photos. Initially “Dan” (the only name I was ever given) promised it would be resolved and offered only a partial refund for the visibly broken items when i obviously refused this and insisted on a-full refund the company stopped replying to emails and stoped answering the phone.
I have now had to escalate this through my bank and Trading Standards.
This is not a case of minor damage – this is a serious health hazard and appalling customer service. I strongly recommend avoiding this company completely they are appalling and to be doing this to hard working people at this time of year disgusting

I cannot get this company to reply to my emails. I paid £6 to deliver on a particular day and have had a notification that the cheeses will be delivered 10 days earlier. The address is an air B&B and we’re supposed to arrive the day after my friend gets there for her birthday. I’ve sent three emails and not had a reply despite their automatic reply saying they reply on average in 1 day.

I ordered a hamper as a Xmas present for a relative, it arrived on Thursday and I am very pleased with it. Well packaged, contents still chilled when I opened it. I had three free chutney too! I will be ordering a hamper for myself shortly.

I am sorry to say that your delivery company totally let us down. The product was dispatched the same day as my order. Conformation email came that delivery will take place the next day . The following day I got a message in the evening to say that the delivery now will happen the following day. No time given and no tracking available. Finally delivered that evening.
Driver through your parcel over the gate and left. We only found out some 20min later by looking on the phone that it was delivered . It rained heavily and the parcel was on top of the drain. It was soaked right through to the inside of your beautiful hamper. I am upset for me and your company. Although I love your cheese I will not place any more orders on line. Previous delivery was unproblematic.

Can’t rate the product as it was never delivered. But on rating the customer service what a poor experience and company to deal with

Having been sent a voucher by another customer, I ordered a Cheese Bakes Night In Selection × 1 at a cost of £36.00, that being over the amount required to be able to specify a delivery date which I did for the week before Christmas as a gift. At check out and when paying, shipping was listed as being charged at £6.00 which I took to being the charge for specifying the date specified for delivery. Nowhere did it tell me that because I was using a discount voucher that I was under the £35.00 threshold and therefore could no longer specify a delivery date, nor did the invoice state that it was to be standard delivery.
So instead of this gift arriving as part of a larger sequence of gifts on a particular date nearer Christmas, it is being delivered 17 days earlier than was wanted. Dan who is the only person in customer support, was unhelpful, and simply said that the specified date had not come through their end, so implied their lack of clarity was my error, and he took zero accountability for the lack of clarity by Snowdonia Cheese Co for their complete lack of clarity regarding their buying process and delivery dates. I am so annoyed they have completely mucked up the sequence of surprises for the recipient.

WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN , not just due to the error regarding delivery but also because of their total indifference to the predicament their failures have put me in.

UPDATE
NOW at 15.44 I receive an email saying they are refunding the entire amount, but they do not make it clear if they have cancelled the delivery in order to make the refund and if so I will need to organise an alternative gift, or if they are making a generous gesture and if they would answer their phone it would help, buy they don't answer the phone and its automated system cut me off & it was only 4.40pm. This company cause more and more drama and uncertainty with every move they make.
