Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I ordered a small vest, they shipped a Large vest. After making me take pictures and submit request to verify the issue, they tried to offer a discount for me to keep the wrong item and pay for another vest in the correct size at another discount. I declined the offer and request the correct item as ordered along with the need to provide return shippimg and credit for the wrong item sen. They refused.

Customer Service 10/10!

While I cannot rate the particular item we ordered just yet, I can rate the customer service I received. After hearing and seeing mixed reviews on this company I felt I needed to leave this fully honest review to hopefully help other customers, even if it’s just to assure them they’ll receive a great customer service experience.
I had accidentally placed an order for an item my husband had already ordered, unbeknownst to me, and saw the customer service hours were only M-F. I sent an email but also tried calling just in case someone was available, and I’m really glad I did. I spoke with an agent named “Willie”, who was exceptional! He was polite, knowledgeable, and handled my issue in a friendly and professional manner with great expediency. You can’t ask for more than that! He took a mildly stressful situation and turned it around in less than a minute. Then of course, because I was calling from a mobile phone, the call dropped right as he was issuing my refund, and of course I panicked a little. But within a few seconds my phone rang and there was Willie- apologizing for the dropped call (which wasn’t his fault!) and completing our transaction in the same friendly manner in which it began. He deserves a five star rating and then some for doing a truly excellent job! If all customer service agents were half as good as Willie, nobody would dread having to contact companies when we have an issue, as we all so often do.
So… Bravo, Willie! Thanks for making my mistake right and for being so great while doing so! If the products we ordered are half as good as the service, we are in for a real treat!

The vest runs very small as do the…

The vest runs very small as do the gloves! Only the back of the vest gets warm not as shown in the picture at all. Held the power button for 3 seconds as directed, the power button was supposed to blink, it went right to hot!

I purchased this vest by researching…

I purchased this vest by researching online for my Dad. I liked that the vest had full coverage heat instead of hot/warm zones. He loves the vest. The problem is the battery. I ordered one battery with the vest purchase and a second battery soon after. The second battery works. The first battery is poor and doesn't charge properly. I know this is only a battery issue. What is the warranty of the battery? LOVE the vest!

did not come with battery!

Ordered vest...did not come with battery. Did not see anywhere that it did not come with it. I had to order it separately and I am still waiting for it. If it does not get here before Christmas...I will never order from you again.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They are rude, standoffish and don’t want to make the situation better. I bought a vest for my son for Christmas and it said delivered but was never delivered. They told me to take it up with my post office they weren’t going to help me. Horrible people

Bought this for my Father-In-Law.

Bought this for my FIN. Straightaway he noticed the zipper was as on the left. I had to convince him that it’s not a woman’s vest. I agree with others it’s a flimsy zipper and will probably fail quickly. The vest itself seems to be working well for him and he’s wearing it every day.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for! I purchased the vest and two batteries for around $110. I read the reviews and was aware there were many complaints about the delicate zipper, so I have been careful when using it and I have had no problems. I was also aware of the limited time the batteries provide so I purchased two. I am able to use the vest on high heat for about 6 hours and low to medium heat all day using two batteries. The batteries are light weight, so it is not awkward to spend a day with both batteries in the vest pockets. FYI, I have ordered a 5V, 20,000MAH battery for longer use. I borrowed a friends Milwaukee vest for a job that I did in very cold weather. It was heavy and the battery was awkwardly cumbersome. I didn't like it although it was far better quality. The Solona vest is light weight and probably not the best quality but on the other hand it is comfortable to wear. I also read complaints about Solona vests not fitting properly. Measure twice; cut once. I measured my chest twice before ordering and the medium vest fits perfectly. I am happy with the vest in light of the amount paid. I do not envision any problems down the road with the vest as long as I am careful with the zipper. However, if I do have to replace the vest, now that I own one and know what to look for, I would buy a better-quality vest down the road that can use the batteries that I have.

Very disappointed, misled about battery

I echo the complaint made by TDK 3 days ago. And your response that you try your best to make it very clear that the battery is sold separately is laughable. I looked at your site several times, comparing the heated vest to others, before I decided to go with your product. To sell a “heated” vest and the battery pack is not included, is absurd. I guess that is the reason nobody has responded to my email sent to your customer support stating that my vest arrived missing the battery. I did notice that battery packs are for sale on the website, but I figured that was if you wanted to purchase an additional one, not that you HAD to purchase one in order for it to work.
Why would anyone knowingly and purposely buy a heated vest when the battery which is how it becomes heated, is not included? Makes no sense that the battery is not included. Price your product accordingly which includes the battery. A customer makes a purchase, expects it to be what they see and is promised in the advertisement. I was truly looking forward to using my new heated vest, now I’m only looking forward to returning it and getting my money back.

Review

The product itself worked fine with no issues so far. I would like it to be a little warmer with the high setting. I bought it with the battery that was offered. Unfortunately I was only able to use it once for a couple of hours before it died. I am looking for a bigger battery to buy. I charged it before I tried so it was fully charged before I used it the first-time. I expected better performance from the battery that was offered but unfortunately it didn't deliver.

The order that never was

Never could order one. First time I tried, my credit card declined the order. The next time I tried I kept getting fraud alerts. So, I gave up. Still haven’t received the gloves I ordered. So far I am not impressed.

Huge for XS. No free returns/exchange

Ordered XS and it fits like Medium, it’s huge! I’m stuck with having paid shipping to buy it and now shipping to return it. What a waste.
My spouse went with Ororo over Solana and recommended based on sizing, quality and customer service.

Again for the price it is too high maybe if you include power pack that make more sense on price

Again for the price. Should include the power pack. Even though it was bought on a special was still high. Yes misleading on how warm it’s supposed to last. Also sizing is really bad bought a 3x could get it on but not zip. You guys really need to have more sizes. Maybe the 3 x was for a little foreign person. I’m 6’ 5”. 250 lbs. I normally wear a 2x in most jackets. And their still room. I ordered a 3 x just for more room and maybe a pull over hoodie. And can’t even zip it for fear if I did I would break the zipper.
