Solid Wood Tops Opiniões

Never messed around with work surfaces or put in any bespoke furniture, but this was easy and an experience that can be recommended.
Thanks for the speedy replies and clear communications.

Solid wood tops offered an outstanding service in the course of design, ordering and assistance in the course of buying a desk riser.

Joe helped me directly over email, with some review of my requirements and suggestions about how I could alter them to create a suitable desk riser for storing a keyboard under.

During the design process the site offers concise pointers on how to produce the correct worktop for a given application. There are also a good amount of options in terms of thickness and finish for the worktops such that I was able to find one to perfectly compliment the finish of my existing desk.

The work was done professionally and packed carefully, travelling from across the country I received the worktop in perfect condition with no scuffs, scratches or damage.

The final result has been a brilliant addition to my workspace that I'd recommend to anyone looking to add high quality, bespoke furnishing to their desk or anywhere they can fit it.

A great experience from start to finish, and a stunning desktop to show for it. Ordering, production, delivery and after-sales care were all impeccable. The desktop is made from generous slabs of oak that really showcase the grain, giving the desk a premium feel. Everything was exactly as requested, beautifully finished, and smells wonderful. The solid wood has real presence: its surface feels grounding, and the way light catches the grain, almost iridescent, is genuinely delightful. The fact that it’s custom made in the UK, by hands that clearly know their craft, only adds to how meaningful and special this object is for me. It’s strange how something that could seem so simple as a piece of wood can feel so rich.

Great service and great product. Very happy customer.

Good company amazing service

Solid wood tops team were super helpful at answering all my questions and helping me come to a decision on my new desk top. Joe was very patient and friendly and I'll absolutely use their service again in the future.

Communication was very prompt and attentive. Although our order was quite specific, any issues were quickly resolved through good comms. There was some unclear information about a product initially, but again this was resolved and explained quickly.

Extraordinary service and responsiveness to customer concerns. I ordered a desktop that had to be very specific in its dimensions, without a single standard number, and they were happy to work with me. Excellent and timely communication. Could not be more pleased!

Really fast turnaround

I felt I got a good service from solid wood tops throughout the process. Firstly, their website is simple and explains things well. That cuts down on the need to ask lots of questions and educates on the limitations and capability of wood top manufacture.

I went for a desk top and shelf I'm turning into a monitor riser with my own design legs. I'm happy with the outcome, and the assigned woodshop which made my design for me. The finish was great, and I'm very happy with it.

Loads of useful information made it easy to work out what I needed. Great service providing a more premium desk top for my IKEA Alex drawers. Fast communication.

Website was very well detailed to suit almost all of my specifications for a (boring!) walnut shelf.

I was able to add drawings after placing my order, so all good so far.

I found this site after contacting 21 local companies, of which only four have replied.

I didn’t have the money to pay nearly £2,500 for a fitted office, but didn’t want an ‘off the shelf’ top, I wanted a specific size with a curved area for me to comfortably use the desk across a corner. I cane across solid wood tops and thought maybe it was too good to be true. However the experience has been fabtastic, so much advice, very easy to place order and someone to fulfil the order was found within hours. Great communication throughout :-) I’ll have exactly the office I wanted, better actually for a fraction of the cost.

Great communication, simple options - no catches so far. Would recommend

I ordered and the process has been quick and smooth so far, awaiting delivery from supplier. Very easy to use interface on the website.

The SolidWoodTops website is incredibly thorough with great explanations of different step in the process and covering all of the many options they provide, it makes you very confident that you are working with the right people for any of your wood top needs.
I placed my order in middle of a bank holiday weekend and to my surprise we've had multiple back and forth communications with them answering my questions and help move my order along.
Couldn't recommend them enough.

Super fast and efficient ordering system as well as quick communication and great service. Highly recommend

I found it challenging to find craftsman to provide a high quality large desk top. Joe of Solid Wood Tops was responsive and helpful in guiding me to specifications and options. Great customer service!

Very efficient and friendly customer service!

This site and it's FAQs were invaluable in helping me find a suitable desktop to fit my standing desk frame. The photos on the website were extremely helpful, as was the design wizard which clearly explained all of the options with examples, so that I could make an informed decision. Responses from the team were prompt, with excellent attention to detail.
