Josie has been a fantastic property consultant from the onset - very supportive, friendly and professional. She’s always patient and willing to explain in detail any questions / concerns you may have. Just a phone call or a WhatsApp chat and she is at your service.

She is always ready and willing to refer to other experts on areas outside of her coverage and has assisted me with setting up a limited company and referred us to a professional mortgage broker and solicitor.

The whole process is very easy to understand as there was charts, diagrams and brochures to accompany all the knowledge that Josie had to share herself.
Just as I thought I was about to get to the complicated part of all the actual paperwork after choosing a location, Solomon’s investments have the ability to do it all in house from mortgage to solicitors to a management company.

I haven't actually gone through with any investment purchase through this company as yet which is why I can't give them a 5 star rating, but so far I am very happy with my dealings with Gerallt, who has been very helpful, patient and informative. After paying a reservation fee on 2 properties I then changed my mind for personal reasons, and although the fee was non refundable, they agreed to refund 50% which I was happy with. I will certainly consider using them again for any future investments, as I am very satisfied with my experience with them so far.

Great experience, easily contactable and able to answer my questions. Will definitely use again.

Honest and reliable are words I would use to describe my recent experience with Solomon. As a first time off -plan b2l purchaser, I was especially impressed with Jordan's consultative approach and support throughout the process.

I have worked with Josie for a few years now and just completed on my second property. She has held my hand through the whole process and always comes back to me on my questions. I got a really low interest rate on my first mortgage and although rates have gone up since she introduced me to Dicio Finance and they still managed to get me a good mortgage in the current market

I have been a client of Solomon Investment Partners for a little over 3 and a half years now and have just reserved my second investment property with them. My advisor Gerallt has always been great at guiding me through how to invest in property, particularly helping me with mortgages and tax-planning.

I have had a few frustrations with their back-office, and I have had fed them back to Gerallt but when I have had things that have needed resolving they have resolved them.

Regardless of a few of the things that I feel could have been done better, I am now almost up to my second-year anniversary of receiving rental income and during that period I’ve experienced no void periods and the rent has always been paid on time.

I did have an issue with a few of the fixtures and fittings when I completed, and the lettings company could have dealt with those quicker, but they were handled, and it didn’t affect my rent.

I would like to thank Sarah Woodward at Solomons, with her help through the purchase of our apartment in Preston. Nothing was to much trouble for her, and she was always at the end of the phone if I was worried about anything.Sarah is always very friendly and makes you feel at ease, this is the first of many properties I am purchasing with Solomons, and it won't be the last, very professional and fair in all they do, Top marks for you Sarah, you were brilliant

******WARNING Do Not Buy Offplan from these Charlatans***

My husband and I put a 25% deposit and £4250 reservation fee down on an off plan apartment, which was due for practical completion on 30th June 2022.

Prior to this date we were informed the build was very behind schedule and was unlikely to complete by the 30th June. We were asked if we wanted to terminate early by specific arrangement with the sellers solicitors and began the process of rescinding the contract in January 2022, or so we were led to believe! We also paid our Solicitors fees on the 28th January to proceed with this. We were informed the rescinding was well underway and that we would get our refund soon. We even confirmed bank details for the refund. We soon discovered that the rescindment process was actually not even commenced until August! If we had known nothing was happening early as suggested, we'd have served notice to the seller on the 30th June when practical completion had not occurred by the long stop date.

Our acting solicitors did not offer any advice at any point throughout the process and we had to read the contract and issue our own instructions (we did wonder if they were actually acting for us, or the seller.)
We finally served the first notice to terminate on 11th August and a second notice (12th September) to terminate with immediate effect and refund all monies within 10 working days.

More than 10 working days has now passed and there are still no signs of a refund. We keep being informed that the unit has to be resold before we can receive a refund. Which is not stipulated anywhere in the original contract.

Our monthly interest payments on the deposit amount are no longer being paid, even though the developer is still in possession of our deposit and reservation fee.
Our acting solicitor even informed us that they could remove entries from the Landlord's title prior to them refunding, which is completely against the contract which states titles should be removed only after receipt of full refund.

Our advice would be, do not invest in any property that holds the deposit as agent rather than stakeholder. Do not use Solomon's recommended solicitors, even if they offer discounts. In fact do not use Solomon's full stop, unless you want to be constantly fobbed off and spend more money on litigation.
