Very poor experience, take into consideration the following points if you are looking to purchase from them.
The AA backed promises means virtually nothing, read into it and you will see it is just hiding behind a large name.
All Sonny Adam cars have one key (in their words) so factor this into the price if it does or you potentially will have a large bill for a replacement.
Thoroughly check all what they have allegedly done prior to sale as they don’t provide any information on presale checks done.
Sonny Adam cars seem to be advertised with service history however for some reason the ONE oil change they do unbelievably can be classed as service history so unless you want to lose a large amount of money on the devaluation of the car make sure you have all the documentation before you agree to buy.
As with a lot of dealers the after sales communication is very bad, once they have your money that’s it!
All their cars are squeezed in on their site and two other customers there at the time, what they came to view was mysteriously in the workshop.
All in all avoid and use a reputable main dealer or you’ll potentially be counting the cost

I was tempted to give 3 stars, mainly due to the positive and polite communication from the staff I spoke with.

However, given the main purpose is to receive a car at a fair price and service it remains at 2 stars. Via Car Guru I had found a car at Sonny Adam and needed to have it delivered to NE England, I was paying £370 for delivery. There seemed to be an issue with securing a driver/delivery, however it was organised only to be cancelled the day before delivery. It was, according to the dealership staff, a medical emergency. No other driver or service appeared to be available and so no alternative delivery date could be given. Reluctantly I had to cancel the order and after several days received a full refund.

I look at this experience as a waste of time and unfortunate. Online checking of vehicles for sale is a starting point but from this I think I will go back to visiting local dealerships and deal face to face.

Brought a car from them over 7weeks ago delivered to me late at night due to different reasons had no parcel shelf no owners manual they said they would send these to us still not received them I know you cam buy manual which is not expensive but parcel shelf is and they promised to send a new one so their after care needs looking at

I bought a Ford Focus FN18FZT from Sonny Adam in February. After 15 days with the car I broke down on the motorway, had work done under warranty and had to pay out of my own pocket for a tow, rental car etc.

A few weeks later I broke down AGAIN on the motorway as the turbo had gone. The car was in huge clouds of smoke. Sonny Adam took the car back for repair but still had to pay out of my own pocket for tows etc.

Up to this point the service from Sonny Adam was decent although there were so many red flags. Even the courtesy car they gave me was falling apart - horn didn’t work, bulbs out etc.

I eventually returned the car for a refund as the turbo issues continued even after they said they had fixed it. The car was not drivable and would go into limp mode constantly.

Taking the car back for a refund was a horrific experience. When I pulled up the car was in smoke. After driving 2 hours we got there and Ray was rude, arrogant and disgustingly ignorant. No apology for everything we have been through, didn’t even say goodbye as we walked out.

NEVER buy from these people… and don’t trust all the 5 star reviews that they probably write themselves. I may have got unlucky but from what I can see there’s countless people who have had similar experiences. Ford Focus FN18FZT is unsafe and not roadworthy, but still I have no doubt it will be back on their website in a few days.

Witness one of there cars advertised online (black audi A3 ET66 KUF ) driven in a dangerous manner on the A10 Enfield. Id think twice before buying a car from them.

Ray was a great salesman! I couldn’t of asker for anything more. He kept me up to date, he made sure the purchase was easy for me, if i had any questions he was happy to answer and the car was in the great condition thank you so much!

I just bought a car online, honestly I was so apprehensive about the whole process but Omar, Anna and Ray have been an absolute godsend. They explained without judgment every step of the process and instilled confidence in me from the initial conversation. They made my experience and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. There was exceptional communication and rapport throughout and a seamless transaction which could have been problematic. Open and honest approach makes it refreshing from previous experiences. Couldn’t fault them and if I need a car in the future I would be going back.

Selected a vehicle for financing, Zuto rang them and the vehicle was still available. They claimed a fresh MOT was going on the car which is fine. Comes to the delivery date and no MOT. Rang them and it hadn't been done. They claimed they tried calling me but nothing. Anyway cancellation within 14-day return of funds.

Friendly staff, manager did try offering me some goodwill gestures but i didn't want it as it was my first time trying to finance and lost hope.

Anis gives you an amazing customer service through out. Had a car that I was interested in and kept me updated on getting it ready for collection. Easy to talk to and listens well to any inquries. Appreciated his extra help during his day's off.
