I purchased a Ford kuga from sonny…

I purchased a Ford kuga from sonny Adams about a month ago now . They was a couple of issues when I had the car delivered. I got put on to the after care team where a very helpful lady called Victoria took over to deal with the issues that needed rectifying. I cannot fault her and her service. She kept me informed with what was happening on a regular basis . She was pleasant, polite and very professional. Thank you Victoria for getting everything sorted and delivered back to me 👍👍

Very helpful and trusted service

Very helpful and trusted service. Mohammed was great and looked after us from start to finish, letting us test drive multiple times and ensured a few minor bits picked up in an AA inspection were fixed before we bought it. Highly recommended.

Poor aftersale

Service from our salesman was good, vehicle looked good and he got the wheels refurbished for us out of courtesy, touched up the vehicle and all that stuff. We found out the ac compressor was seized when we bought the car which was neither our faults. Emailed Sonny Adams about it which we never got a reply for, had to phone them and they said they would order the replacement part and they’d ring us when it was here which they didn’t, then we had to ring again and they said it was here and come whenever but we had to leave the vehicle there and they couldn’t give us a loan vehicle. They replaced the compressor with a second hand part which they didn’t mention and they refused to re gas air con which should happen when replacing air con parts. The manager was nice and eventually sorted a regas out down the road which we found the out the condenser was leaking, so we had to leave the car with them which wasn’t ideal as we had to spend our own money temp insuring other cars etc. eventually the car was sorted but all the other salesmen were rude and didn’t really care. Awful customer service aftersale as none of the salesmen didn’t want to have to deal with it apart from 2 of them. Would not recommend unless you live round the corner and can afford to leave your car with them

I bought a car from sonny Adam…

I bought a car from sonny Adam dealership at the weekend after having a test drive a few weeks back with a lovely young lady I decided to buy the car, the professionalism was second to none, the whole team was so nice it made a huge difference, the friendly and caring approach made the process very easy for me, I will highly recommend sonny Adam to family and friends

Dodgy car sales

Phoned to ask after a car that was advertised and told it was still available and was booked for a viewing within the next hour.Due to distance it took 1 and half hours to get there. Upon arrival at a filthy industrial estate/breakers yard was approached and asked for my name and told bluntly it's sold now, then just left standing there as the supposed salesman walked off, suspect this was not the case as it's still advertised for sale.Do not waste your time as this is not a reputable car dealers it's more like a dodgy breakers yard.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! THEY TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT AND DO NOT RETURN IT. When you call they fob you off I'm still waiting for them to return £380 after weeks of chasing. THE COMPANY ARE A JOKE!

Cowboys - No car or Refund !!

Cowboys! Bought a VW Golf last year, a total wreak. Gearbox did not work, drove it home 20 miles home, it was totally illegal. It flooded when the rain came. AA towed it back to them! Asked for my money back, still waiting. 12 months on. Took to small claims. They said I had caused the damage myself. No car and 2k out of pocket. I am going to ask Police, OFT, motor trade to investigate these criminals. If that fails I am going to sit outside all day and tell everybody not buy from them. Sonny just pay me my money back!

Avoid avoid avoid like other people…

Avoid avoid avoid like other people said we purchased a BMW on the 31/8/24 only to return it two days later you’ll see from the photograph the list of things that were wrong with it and the pictures. It allegedly passed an MOT the day before when you turn right with the indicator it didn’t cancel. There was also a wheel nut missing so we didn’t trust the MOT we found numerous problems with the bodywork and after a close inspection taking off the plastic panel in the boot, the panel was still all bent we now annoyed because we’ve got £95 out of pocket expenses which are not prepared to pay but if we can save one person just one person from making a mistake buying a car from here then that will justify losing the out-of-pocket expenses where they’ve signed up to the AA you in safe hands isn’t worth the paper it’s written on and will be taking this up with Trading standards and the AA themselves. Another point you may wish to look at. I told them we would never buy a car from them after reading their reviews and this is my findings since I’ve said that they’ve had, 23 reviews in the last week the week before that only 3 and the week before that one only 2 also a point to look at out of 28 reviews 21 of them have never left a review anywhere before and 4 customers have left a review for buzz bouw which is a Dutch construction company in Holland so it seems a bit funny that four customers have left a review from them so I’m thinking the last 23 five out of five reviews are totally fake which would make sense please enjoy the photos attached also I’ve just been told the guy that went out in the test drive put the music on the back speakers as he said it sounded better. I think the reason was is because the driver side door panel one didn’t work so at the end of the day they know how bad their cars are they are selling, they told me that they brought this car from an auction just because there’s no category listed against it does not mean it’s not been in heavy damage as not all damages are recorded. We believe this one and had a hard rear end and the total side impact as the only panel that wasn’t sprayed was the roof and that had all the overspray all over it you will see on the photos. There is grey primer all over the place. And also one rear window was tinted and one wasn’t that was obviously the side that had the hard impact.
Update, thank you for your reply. It is amazing us you’ve had six reviews today. We screenshot them and two minutes later it’s the same review but the name changes this has been reported to Google and we standby what we say. We now have Trading standards involved and we now have the AA involved because you have got their posters up in safe hands. Which is clearly not the case you have my number if you want to speak to me, but I’m sure you don’t.
Second update there’s five of us sitting here thinking this is very strange since we brought your attention all the fake reviews on Google and the rate of 3 every 10 minutes they suddenly stopped and there hasn’t been any reviews or fake ones in the last 45 minutes funny that you must think we’re daft but unfortunately we’re not as daft as you think we are it would now appear they’ve stopped doing fake reviews on Google and now jumped on this site what I said at the beginning avoid this place like the plague
Update I’ve just read your reply. We’re not just talking about bad paintwork. You failed to notice behind the back bumper was all bent and pushed in from a rear end. It has had a very bad side impact where they changed one of the rear windows as one side was tinted and one was clear, and doors and bonnet didn’t line up you admitted you brought this car from an auction. It’s a shame you didn’t inspect it before you tried to sell it on. And also so many fake reviews on here which you were caught out on Google.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we will be taking this onboard and making sure that this does not happen again in the future, we would also like to highlight that cars getting paint work as part of the preparation process is very common practice and this does not mean at all that the car has been in an accident or should be a category, however when a vehicle I 6 to 10 years old it will have some scratcher of marks or even dents on it that our customers would want us to rectify, we will be more than happy to share with you the work history of the car,and we would also be happy to have a conversation with trading standards , as for the reviews we can assure you that we are not in the practice of seeking fake reviews , our only verified review page is our trust pilot and auto trader page, any other review source such as google and All other platforms is not associated with this company nor are they monitored and that is where confusion might be.

Bought my astra 3 months ago

Bought my astra 3 months ago, one day before the expiry of my warranty I had an engine light come on, called the team booked me in no questions asked and had the car stored. Thank you!

BUYER BE VERY AWARE!

Arranged to view car for my daughter after reserving online only to find it was in another location, on a ramp, in bits! Very frustrating after a 2 hour drive. Was told not to worry as they would drive it down to me and i could refuse it so nothing to lose. Agreed and left. Car was brought down a week later after being told that it had new brakes and clutch but was not allowed to test drive it as we were not insured! Had to make a desicion there and then so decided to go for it as it 'seemed' to drive ok.
After a couple of weeks my daughter said the car had started shuddering and losing power and engine codes appearing so arranged to take it back to them. They called a week later to tell us to pick it up. When i asked what had been done they said that there was nothing wrong with it! I showed them photos of the code numbers and they said that was helpful for them to order the parts and to leave it with them and they would get it sorted, so we left without the car.
A week later they said that they had completed the work. I asked for details of what had been done and received nothing. We picked up the car and it was absolutely filthy inside! We took the car home and 3 days later the codes were back, car went into limp mode and STOP appeared on the dash. Contacted them again and was told to bring it back. I asked if they were going to be responsible for any damage done given that STOP was on the dash and they said to park it up and not drive it and they would collect it. A week later 2 guys came in a car and one DROVE it away. They said they were going to change a sensor so went with them and they parked in a local car park and proceeded to change the oil and change the part! After they went they left all the mess there. I contacted them and told them that i no longer wanted the vehicle as it was not fit for purpose and causing too many issues was told that i could not just change my mind! I told them it was my right and they said that they would need a chance to fix the issue first. After hearing nothing i contacted them again to be told they were waiting for the parts to be delivered. When i asked which parts they could not tell me. I told them i did not expect this from a £7000 car and would like a refund. I then received a response to say that they had received the parts and the car would be ready in 2 days. I then received a parking fine for the day they took the vehicle away! I sent them details and told them to deal with it which they did. They then told me the car was ready and would be delivered to me. The car was driven down and absolutely stank of cigarette smoke! Given that none of us smoke and the car was for my daughter and her one year old i found this totally unacceptable. I again complained to them but obviously had no response. I asked them to send me details of all parts that had been replaced and work carried out but again no response. After 2 days the fault codes and lights came on again. Tried to contact them but they were not interested.
Bottom line they are quick enough to take your money but when problems arise they do not want to know. After months of going back and forwards we were getting nowhere. They had no interest in taking the car back even though it was obvious it was not fit for purpose and it was causing me so much stress that in the end i had to get rid of the vehicle at a loss as my daugher needed to have a reliable car.

Utterly frustrating

Utterly frustrating. Rang 5 hours ahead of time to book a test drive for my son to purchase his first car. Drove nigh on 60 miles round trip and was hardly spoken to when we arrived or throughout, utterly unprofessional (bar one female member of staff who seemed on it). Otherwise everyone was totally unapologetic that the car was still not available to test drive 40 minutes later. Really appalling. We left. I'd be wary of them for sure...
