Honestly brilliant - AI suggested this company might be interested in my old B&O cd player that had been under a blanket in my garage for about 5yrs! Finally, we’re doing a big reorg and decided to “rehome” it. I contacted them with they requested photos, the response was quick, clear and positive. James sent me a generous valuation, i accepted - he drove to collect the equipment a few days later and made a bank transfer to me for the agreed amount. Couldn’t have been a smoother or easier process. Highly recommend.

I ordered a BeoCenter 2300 and when it arrived in Perth, Western Australia, I sent the following email to Sound Affair-

I wanted to replace a defunct BeoSound 3000 with a secondhand one which could connect to my B&O speakers. Lots are offered for sale, but I opted to pay a bit more in order to have the 1-year warranty provided by Sound-Affair. This turned out to be a good decision.
The BeoSound that they supplied (actually a 3200 not 3000) malfunctioned - the sliding doors didn't work properly. James advised helpfully over the phone how I might fix this, but without success, so I re-packed the BeoSound, and James arranged for it to be collected from my home and couriered back to their workshop.
After some delay over New Year, the machine was eventually returned to me, and so far it all works perfectly. Everything done under warranty was free of charge.
So although my dealing with Sound-Affair was a bit long-drawn-out, it was very satisfactory in the end. James is friendly, conscientious, patient and knowledgeable, and he gave me some useful technical guidance. Sound-Affair are not cheap but in my experience they are good.

Customer service at it's best. James was very helpful and dealt with an issue in a prompt and professional manner. The 12 month warranty is definitely why I bought from him.
I would recommend S/A to anyone looking for good quality used B&O equipment.

Really pleased with the service and advice. I have an old B&O Beocentre from 1986 and needed to get a new stylus. I was really worried where and how to get a replacement. I phoned them and their advice was really good and had a new cartridge delivered within 7 days and its fitted and sounds brilliant - really pleased with their service and can thoroughly recommend them.

Ordered two PowerLink mark 2s for my B&O stereo £20.40 each not too bad as paid more in the past. Was charged £24.99 for postage.
When they arrived I noticed on the postage they paid £6.59 so what happened to the additional money I paid. I have emailed sales email twice since I received them 4th dec and no reply no apology, not even an offer of a refund for being over charged.
I probably wouldn’t buy again from here postage cost more than one lead alone, could understand if if cane wrapped special but didn’t.

I had some B&O items that I was keen to sell. I contacted Sound Affair and was asked to send through some photos of the items for sale - which I did.
James came back to me extremely promptly, asked for a bit more information, which I sent through, and he offered a price for all the items there and then. The offer was fair and so we arranged for the items to be picked up. James arrived on time, made a bank transfer on the spot and took the items away.

Oh my goodness, a company which is efficient and customer focussed. So rare these days but so welcome. James is an absolute pleasure to deal with, all worked like clockwork. Would recommend highly.

I contacted Sound-Affair through their website to see if they'd be interested in purchasing my old B&O hifi. They responded promptly and after sending them through a few photos they came back with an offer which I was very happy with. On that basis James came over the next day to collect the hifi and the bank transfer was completed there and then. Super smooth and efficient process throughout and I would consequently whole heartedly recommend them.

The articles I ordered were delivered on time but one component was incorrect. I pointed this out by email to James who arranged for a replacement to be sent. That arrived the following day and now all things work perfectly. Excellent customer service.

Got in touch with James to sell a Beosound 9000 and some speakers, as we are moving house, easy process, James told us exactly which photos to send of the equipment and how to access some parts to do this.
We agreed a price and arranged a day for him to pick up. James notified us on the day of his expected arrival time . He took it off the wall for us and the wall speaker too and sorted out the cabling as it was chased into the wall. We were concerned about doing this ourselves as we would not have had a clue! He did this all with expertise!
A lovely man and very easy to do business with. Would not hesitate to recommend anyone thinking of dealing with them. When we buy some equipment for our new home would not hesitate to buy from him. He was also able to come out to us very quickly between our exchange and completion date as the new owners did not want it left in the house!
