Friendly and efficient. I disposed of 2 B&O tv remotes by 2nd class post on Wednesday and had money in my account on Monday, despite postal strikes and Christmas. Thank you James. I learned about this company from B&O in Selfridges.

Wow, what a super young man James is, everything went smoothly with our deal, James came to collect my B & O system, paid immediately and he went away happy and I was delighted with his service, I definitely recommend this company.

Had my Beosound 3200 system with Beolab 4000 speakers and a Beo 4 remote for a few days now and am very happy with the products and the service received from James.
Looking really closely I found a small mark on each, but unnoticeable if not very close and especially looking for marks. Considering the Beosound and Beolab items are over 15 years old condition is really excellent and look perfect in general use.
I love the design of these CD players, and the speakers are amazingly solid and well built. I would never consider buying new B&O because I couldn't justify the cost, or even want anything from the current range as I don't buy downloadable music and prefer CDs. These B&O CD players from the turn of the century are design classics and the sound from the Beolab 4000 speakers is great (and the Beo 4 works perfectly too with no obvious marking despite its age and being a remote control that would have received a lot of handling).
Overall really pleased with the items and service received and would be happy to recommend Sound Affair and to use them myself again in the future.

One of my 1999 BeoLab 8000 speakers broke and could not be repaired. James offered advice and support which led to my buying a pair of reconditioned speakers and selling my single working speaker to Sound Affair. Although sometimes hard to reach on the phone, James was very patient and helpful. I would not hesitate to use Sound Affair again or to recommend them.

I contacted Sound-Affair to enquire about replacement speakers for my B & O system.
Not only did I receive an immediate reply, but James at Sound Affair took the trouble to call me directly, in order to understand exactly what I was looking for and to share what products he had available which would be compatible with my system and went on further to recommend a particular set of speakers which suited me well.
One working day later I have received my speakers which look and sound fantastic and I am delighted to have my B & O system up and running again. It feels like a old family friend has come back from from the wilderness!

It is great that James at Sound Affair is able to re cycle old B & O sound systems. He was able to offer a reasonable sum for my speakers and unit and was able to collect the (heavy) equipment. Payment received same day. The speakers look and function as good as the day I bought them. They will be a great purchase for anyone interested. Glad someone will be able to enjoy them at a reasonable second hand value. James was good with communications, passionate, and professional.

I recently purchased a Beosound 3200 and a pair of Beolab 2002 speakers from Sound Affair and from my first enquiry to the delivery of my purchases the whole transaction was dealt with with the utmost professionalism. In fact, without James's very knowledgeable and helpful advice I probably would have ended up with a system that wouldn't have suited my needs. The equipment supplied was exactly as described, in mint condition, appropriately packaged and I am delighted with it. Buying process was very straight-forward, and James was responsive to questions I had - he's passionate about B&O and it shows; great customer service. The speakers were described as 9.5 / 10 due to a few marks, but he's clearly a perfectionist - they were in near mint condition, I could barely tell. I appreciated the honesty. I got in touch to ask about selling some old gear. Initial response was helpful, including a valuation. But then I was ghosted when I followed up. All communications ceased, no explanation. It ended up wasting quite a lot of my time and I'm back to square one.

I wouldn't normally write a review about this, but since the company directs attention to Trustpilot (and encourages customers to write reviews here) I wanted to add my experience for balance. Otherwise you'd just get the good reviews.

awful company - did not supply item that was purchased even though they had stock and when complained no reply so had to start chargeback.

I bought a Beolab 2 from Sound Affair last week. The service was excellent with very prompt delivery. The quality of the used speaker was very good and was exactly as per the website description. I had a couple of technical queries that James was able to solve quickly and successfully. It's the third time I've bought from Sound Affair and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Prompt replies to queries and fair price offered for goods. Was polite and efficient and made sure all money was transferred before taking the equipment away. Would definitely recommend this company.
