De eerste bestelling bij Special Ingredients Europe! Helaas kreeg ik een ander product dan besteld was. Spannend! Zou het goed hersteld wordentot nu tor niets dan lof voor de communicatie.? Het verkeerd geleverde product eenvoudig geretourneerd via Bol.com en een nieuwe bestelling durven doen. Die werd heel snel en correct geleverd (inclusief een goedmakertje). Nu nog even wachten of het aankoopbedrag voor de eerste bestelling ook echt teruggestort wordt.

Way to expensive handling costs
Well, you did good on your part. I’m happy with the ingredients … but I’m extremly unhappy about the costs for packaging, shipping and customs! It is insane to pay for a goods value of 43 Euros more then 60 Euros for the handling!

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your review. The shipping costs for your order were €35,- as stated before you purchased the order. We are 100% transparant about the costs and don't make a margin on them. Because we import most of our products from the UK we have to calculate those costs in our price, otherwise we would lose money on the shipping & handling.
Because you live in Switserland and ordered products from an EU-country (The Netherlands) you have to pay custom tax, what almost doubled the total handling costs. We can understand the frustration.
But, as a webshop we can't be held responsible for custom taxes for countries outside the EU. We state in our webshop that for Non-EU countries these taxes can apply, but we can't calculate the taxes for the total price since we don't collect the taxes and don't control the rates.
We value our customers highly, please see our current 4.8 star reviews. But this review is about something we have no control over.
We're very sorry you left a review about the costs without contacting us directly. That way we could have a conversation how to solve this situation. Now you're 'extremely unhappy' and we're left with a negative 3-star review, no one wins.
Still we would like to get in touch with you to resolve this, we would like each and every customer to be happy. We would appreciate it if you would reply to our e-mail.

I think I made a mistake when I ordered…
I think I made a mistake when I ordered because I wanted two product to maximize the shipping cost and only one was ordered but they offered to send the next one the next day for without any shipping costs so very great service and super reactive.
