Horrible !! placed on order with them and they shipped it with FedEx. Driver dropped it off at the wrong house. First they asked me to walk around the neighborhood and ask my neighbors if they had the package. Than they made me wait an additional week to file a shipping complaint, and they would forward to FedEx while I had to wait 21 days to until FedEx made a determination. Word of advice you something from them online they don't want assume responsibility for their shipping.

I love my shoes. I feel that there is always the possibility of something going wrong. A company should be evaluated on how they handle a problem not that there was a problem. I had an issue and Spring Step rates a five on how they handled it. I am completely satisfied

Customer be aware. The company has terrible customer service and the quality is very poor now. I ordered a pair of booths (just like the one I had bought on a trip) a few years ago and it was fine. I ordered the very same booths in a different color, and the size is now smaller (ordered the same size) and the leather is stiff. The leather used to be like Italian leather, very soft. They have terrible quality and have gone cheap on their leather. Their return policy is awful. If you tell them honestly that you wore your shoes for a few hours on carpet and had to change shoes because they were so very uncomfortable, they will refuse to return the shoes. I will NEVER order from them again. I am still within their return time, but they will not take back my booths because I was honest about having worn them on carpet for a few hours.

Your shoes are beautiful. A bit small unless my feet are a bit longer :) I am returning the 3 pairs I got and could only find 1 in size 9. I will order the boots and in a different style since their is no size 9 in both.

I’m disappointed with how this return was handled, not because of the final outcome, but because of how unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming the process was.
From the customer side, this experience felt confusing, fragmented, and overly procedural. I had to follow up multiple times to understand why my refund amounts didn’t match what I paid, and each response introduced new explanations rather than resolving the issue clearly. Different representatives repeated policy language but did not consolidate the math or address discrepancies in a straightforward way. As a result, I spent far more time recalculating totals and advocating for clarification than should ever be required for a simple return.
The restocking fee tied to box damage was especially frustrating. The explanation came late and felt punitive rather than informative. If using the shoe box as a shipping container renders the item “unsellable,” that requirement should be made unmistakably clear at checkout and during the return process—not after the fact. From a customer perspective, tape residue does not intuitively equal product damage, and the lack of upfront clarity made this feel like a hidden penalty rather than a reasonable policy.
What compounded the issue was the sense that policy enforcement took priority over customer experience. Repeated references to “as outlined in our policy” came across as dismissive rather than helpful, especially when the numbers themselves were still unclear. A single, itemized refund breakdown early on would have prevented most of this back-and-forth.
While the issue was eventually resolved, it required persistence and acceptance of a loss I didn’t feel was transparently explained at the outset. That leaves a negative impression. I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect clarity, consistency, and efficiency. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on all three.
UPDATE 1/5/2026 Already reached out. Apparently I got charged for tape marks on the box and return shipping in exchange for store credit. Still don't recommend. ^^
Returned pair of boots (unworn, tags and box intact). Received a refund for half my purchase price without any explanation. So far customer care is either not able to understand the issue or they are unable to resolve a pretty simple accounting error.
