Great product, fast shipping, laggy email notifications
The shoes themselves are excellent. The shipping time was also excellent. The shipping/tracking info emails were misleading and came much later than you’d expect. I think the email that said my order had been shipped arrived after the shoes had! So, better than if had been the opposite way, but good to know before placing an order.

These boots are awesome!
These boots are awesome! They look amazing and fit great. I’m a solid US women’s size 10 and I usually get a 41 in European size but other purchasers had said they ran a little short so I got size 42 and I am glad I did. There’s plenty of room for thick socks. They are comfortable and so pretty! Highly recommend!

The shoes are always amazing
The shoes are always amazing! Unique high-quality comfortable and worth every penny that you pay for them.
However, there are a few quirks with their website that is frustrating such as if you go into edit your order and you decide you don’t wish to edit, it it automatically cancels your order without being told that it’s canceling your order. I did not receive an email or any other information that my order was canceled until I realized my order was not showing up at my doorstep. I went back to the website to track down my order, and that is when I discovered that it was canceled.
In addition when I reached out to Customer Service via email to find out what had happened, I got blamed for canceling the order through my edit status (that I did not complete). They specifically said“you did it“
However, let’s be clear going into edit an order is not the same as canceling an order, especially when I decided not to go through with the edit. So I recommend that this glitch in their system needs to be fixed, and that unless the order is specifically canceled by the purchaser, It does not get canceled.
The Customer Service needs better training to state that when you go to edit an order and you do not complete the edit it automatically cancels your order instead of stating “you did it”. Blaming the customer is really poor Customer Service especially when, I actually didn’t do it. How was I supposed to know that going into edit an order automatically cancels your order. I have never had that problem with any other Online order ever.
I would also recommend that somehow the purchaser is notified that if you’re going to make an edit and do not complete the edit it will automatically cancel the order or they should change the subroutine (if that is the proper computer term) in their software that when you go to edit, I’m gonna edit. It is not completed , it does not automatically cancel the order.
Will I continue to buy from spring step shoes, you bet!! I’ve been doing it for years and I love the products. They wear very well and hold up over the years.
I clearly have no issue with the products but their website and how it functions and improved training for customer service might be appropriate

PRO'S & CON's
PRO: the product absolutely love
CON: slipping in a return fee, I didn't notice until after the purchase, I would have never paid that, as I already have the same boots in a different color. As well, the shipping time, in this day & age was some driving it to me in a 1972 pinto from across the county & taking all back roads? Lastly, the box arrived completely wide open...luckily the boots were still in there...
