No communication for a month - ghosted!

After trying to claim for my wife, I have received no communication for over a month despite sending 3 follow up emails to the company handling the claim and writing directly to Staysure, making a complaint. I chose this company because of the great reviews on here, but I am sorry to say that they are great until the point you need them. Very disappointed. I will persevere with trying to get someone to give me an update and will speaking to the ombudsman if that proves futile for another month.

Dear Joshua,

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear that you haven't had a response regarding your claim. I have had a look at your policy and can see the claims team were last in it on 8th April.

Please can you check your junk/spam email folders in case they have emailed you and they have dropped in there, as this is usually their point of contact with you.

I have also escalated this to the underwriter and marked it as urgent so that they can chase it with the claims team.

My sincere apologies for the frustration caused.

Bad claimhandling

The application process is easy and very straightforward, the pricing is good. The spanish desk is cooperative. But…after submitting a claim, the communication stops, other than automatically generated replies.

May I refer you to the below details in relation to making a complaint if you wish to. It will be handled by the claims relations team via the underwriter and they will complete a full investigation. I spoke to your agent who was very helpful.
I was going to get a year's cover but struggled with you taking payment, but i was given no error message to correct the problem and pay. OK this time for one trip.
