We had a great experience writing our story. Our writer, Barnaby, was very good at guiding us through the process and the end result was a true reflection of our lives. The book itself was well produced and we were very happy with it. It will be a lovely legacy to pass on to our children and grandchildren.

Too devastated to write about the scam , poor AI assisted writing , add on costs (although I purchased highest package!) platform cuts your Paragraphs that you have to keep rewriting until of course time limits have been exhausted where of course you have to pay extra for every month.

My project is still incomplete and…
My project is still incomplete and nobody is willing to respond to my calls. In fact, I can’t get in touch with anyone.
My book was written, and when I received it there were several errors so I requested a rewrite/reprint, and they wanted to charge me way more than what I should have been requested to pay. I’m trying to resolve this matter, but the manager completely stopped responding to me. I didn’t threaten her, or anything like that. I simply requested what steps I should take, and ironically and very quickly she asked for a review. I didn’t provide a review because my book had not been completed.
Please contact me via email or a simple phone call so that I can wrap up my project and provide further feedback.

For context, we typically respond to our customers’ queries within 1–2 business days, as we strive to address all customer concerns promptly. It is never our intention to cause frustration, and we appreciate your patience throughout this process.
Regarding your project, please note the Swift package is a self-service offering where customers are responsible for managing and finalising their manuscript, including editing. When you identified errors, we offered support by providing options for editorial revisions and reprinting, which were chargeable.
You later informed us that you did not require editorial support. At this stage, we adjusted our offer and, as a goodwill gesture, significantly reduced the cost to match your requirements.
Our editorial team is currently in communication with you with the aim of correcting the grammatical errors you have highlighted.
Our goal has always been to help you achieve a final product that meets your expectations, and we remain committed to bringing your project to completion

I am very pleased with the final printed book…
I am very pleased with the final result of my printed book. It was critical to spend time to select the right writer appropriate to the subject. Whilst it took time I was very happy with my writer James who was able to emulate my style of writing and quickly understood the subject. It was also important to prepare before the interview process with detailed bullet points and anecdotes you wish to cover. Your own proof checking is essential. Recommended.

It would have been better to do it ourselves
I have to say we were very disappointed in the whole experience. AI was used and eventually we basically had to rewrite the book from the start. Constant deadlines and having to pay - when we were doing the work ourselves. I was excited to start the process but am so relieved that it is all over!n Don't do it is my advice!
Added now after your edited response. Please read the draft book which we received initially - the grammar was shocking! A 10 year old could have done better! We had no option but to re-write the book. Thank you.

A seamless process brought to an excellent conclusion.
Hariny (my editor) matched me to Vanwy who wrote my story. We had 6 hours of interviews during which Vanwy was interested, thoughtful and professional. Of course, it helps to gather your thoughts and prepare for the interviews in order to keep the story moving. Vanwy managed to include historical context which was important to me. A great experience.

Wish I had read other reviews first
Thankfully only went for lower package.
Was lead to believe the writer would help me tell my story, so felt unprepared and uncomfortable with the initial interviews. The author was very nice but had to reschedule some sessions, not sure why!
When I got the first draft I was mortified to discover my story was mixed up with another of their customers. This really put me off reading more.
When I received the final draft I questioned quite a lot of grammar and why there were many repeats from one chapter to the next which again caused more distress.
Overall very disappointing experience, it took a great deal of courage to discuss parts of my life and cancer diagnosis with a stranger. It hasn’t delivered anything positive and I can’t even face picking up the finished version so it’s destined for the bin! Wish I had read other reviews before parting with £850.00, I would not have signed up!!
When I addressed my complaints they were basically ignored and I was made to feel it wasn’t their fault!! Poor customer service!
