Supaphoto converted a box of cinefilm dating back to the 1970’s, and some VHS tapes from the early 90’s for me. The clarity and colour has genuinely surprised me. I had tried having the cinefilm converted elsewhere a few years ago, but Supaphoto’s work is simply in a different league. Seriously impressed. Thank you!

I had two cine films that were 70 years old, and which looked very faint and fragile, that needed digitising. When I telephoned to enquire about what could be done the person I spoke to was very helpful and gave me confidence in using the company. I even had a telephone call when the cine films had been digitised to tell me that they were complete. Digital files were sent via We Transfer with a DVD posted. As it was the Christmas madness I was glad to get the digitised films electronically rather than wait for Postman Pat. I was very happy with the company and the digitised films and would use them again and recommend them to friends. It was nice to use a company that had a 'human touch' and not the usual 'just doing a job' attitude that seems to prevail these days.

Excellent service in all respects. But I appreciated in particular the obvious detailed knowledge of the staff in all the technical aspects so that one could be assured that you are receiving high quality work to professional standards at a very reasonable cost.
Throughout I was given a range of options for enhancing the product I wanted transformed- which gave me a better outcome than I had anticipated.

Speaking directly to Philip, I explained that, sadly, my wife had died in July, and I was sorting through ‘old-stuff’ when I found both 110mm negatives and some Kodak disk ones. Neither the local camera-shop or film-laboratory could handle both formats, then I found Supaphoto online! The aforementioned Philip couldn’t have been more sympathetic or knowledgeable, so I happily put them in his hands, to convert these old memories to digital files, for myself and my lovely family to enjoy again.

The job I needed help with was very specialised - the conversion of cinefilm to digital, including some films still undeveloped in their cartridges (a rare request these days). Supaphoto provided an excellent and truly personalised service. They called me to explain the process, timing and costs involved. They were able to successfully convert all of the films, including the cartridges, and were genuinely excited for me at the results they had been able to achieve. At all times they were clear, professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

I had an obsolete Kodak cine cartridge which had lain undeveloped for over 15 years from my one and only attempt at cine filming. I once asked at my local photo service shop if they or anyone they knew of could develop it. They informed me it was impossible to get that particular type of cartridge processed. On the verge of disposing of it last month, i contacted Supaphoto as they looked to be specialists in this field. To my surprise they informed me that it could be possible that images could be retrieved, despite it being a complicated process, given the age and type of cartridge. The staff were very friendly and took time to explain the process involved. A couple of weeks after sending off my cartridge i was delighted to be informed that the process had been successful, and my cine footage was sent to me immediately via Email. Supaphoto did a great job on what i thought was a bit of a lost cause. I would highly recommend their Cine developing services. Kenny.

After reading such fantastic reviews I decided to choose this company to transfer my wedding video to a more compatible format. To be able to see this again was truly magical. Great service and a friendly team. I had a large number of old video cassettes from Latin America that I wanted to convert. A large number were damaged and some had snapped tapes that they were able to repair and salvage. Definitely recommend.

There's a few things that make the experience great. Aside from the extremely friendly and experienced team, the digitisation (I've had three lots of 8mm digitised) happens in house so the customer is able to speak to the team carrying out the work rather than the film being sent off. The team have years of expertise and it's really helpful and an additional bonus to be able to discuss questions around the workflow and my experience has been the team are very happy to provide an end result in line with my intentions. Having found Supaphoto I would recommend to any and all looking to have any digitisation work at all - you won't regret it!
