Aurora Wi-Fi Remote Controllable Infrared Bar Heater
I have now purchased 6 Aurora Wi-Fi Remote Controllable Infrared Bar Heater units from Surya Heating which is testimony enough for the product. However, Surya Heating have actually lowered the price per unit since buying the first ones. Their website is easy to navigate; customer service/technical service is excellent and their delivery service is super fast - maybe I just got lucky but I took a punt and didn't pay extra for next day delivery but my order arrived the next day anyway! I guess that's why I keep going back. Happy customer.

Brilliant service
Brilliant service from Georgia at customer services. I decided after buying my infrared panel that I wanted to exchange it for a slightly more powerful one. The new unit arrived the next day and the old one was picked up at the same time. The process couldn’t have been easier. I highly recommend Surya.

Disappointing, not an effective solution.
So on a positive note the communication and company website is excellent, I used the room calculator and was able to pick the appropriate product. I went for the 900w NXT gen which was 50w more than recommended.
Order process was easy and delivery and communication excellent. The product is very smart looking and easy to instal, I went for a wall mounting.
So I set up the heater and turned it on, the room temperature was 9 degrees and I set the thermostat for 22 degrees. (Note it was 2 degrees outside) After 8 hours of continuous heating the room temperature only reached 11.5 degrees which was very disappointing. The next day I used a standard fan heater to bring the room temperature up to 22 degrees with the Surya panel set to 22 degrees. After switching off the fan heater I was disappointed to see the temperature start to drop and despite the panel being on it could not maintain the heat and after four hours the room temperature had dropped to 12.5 degrees.
I have seen similar feedback where Surya suggest adding an additional panel which makes me question the calculator function.
Now looking at fan and oil filled alternatives, shame as the product looks great but just can’t do the job.

Hi Martyn, firstly our apologies for the experience you've had with our heaters. The only thing I can suggest right now is to get in touch with our team on 0116 321 4124, and we can discuss the space you're trying to heat in a bit more detail, and provide an alternative installation for you (such as the recommended wattage split across 2 panels, and providing a better spread of heat). Our on-site calculator provides an estimate as to the amount of watts you'd need for your space, but unfortunately can't take into account room shape, or how many actual heaters you'd need or other such factors. Our apologies once more.
worst panel and experience
Probably one of the worst panel we have bought and we have five. The WiFi part relies on the Bluetooth remote to work and drops out or disconnects for long periods. The company still charged the collection for the return as they deemed it okay. If they think it’s a good product and go against customer rights, I could not recommend Surya Heating or their actual Business name of Mirrorstone Heating to anyone. Experience and communication documented.

Having spoken to the Customer Services department about this, I understand that we could not replicate the issues you were experiencing with the panel once we received it back at our warehouse, and that the panel, remote, and app connection were functioning as normal after approximately 4 hours of testing. That said, the Customer Services department have now issued a refund for your order, which should be completed and in your account within 3-5 working days. Our apologies once more. Just installed a whole system in a bungalow, on ceilings, to replace storage heaters. Customer is amazed at how little they cost to run, how sleek they look, using ceiling brackets. They are very easy to control, using WiFi or the remote control, heating each room very quickly.
Would highly recommend.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. The Website says 2 in stock, and when I ordered and paid for next-day delivery, customer service confirmed that it would be sent. After 2 days of follow-up, I have been told it's not in stock! Funny thing is no one is bothered to even call the customer that item is not in stock for over 1 month, what a joke!

It is worth noting that we don't list live stock levels on our website, so we have never stated on site that we have 2 units of anything left. The second thing that is worth noting is that we do put red banners on any products that are out of stock, stating when the expected return dates are, and we make them as visible as possible, as many of our customers are happy to wait. I understand that the product you ordered had one of these banners but you unfortunately didn't see it. With that said, we do once again apologise for the service, we'll take this experience on board and use it to improve our services for the future. The Surya Heating Team.
