Nice website but after sales communication poor…
Purchasing the table was very easy and the website good. Delivery was also good and I was kept informed of progress. However when a crack was discovered on one of the legs and I informed you of it I have had no response. The table wasn't cheap and was a present. Communication could be much improved.

We would like to clarify the timeline, as we feel this is important context. Your initial email was sent on Saturday 2nd May, over the Bank Holiday weekend, when our office is closed. We responded to you on the next working day, today at 12:38 pm. Your review was then posted shortly after at 1:25 pm the same day.
We always aim to respond as quickly as possible during working hours, but unfortunately, we are not available over Bank Holidays. That said, your query was responded to promptly as soon as we reopened and worked through the weekend's emails in date and time order. We pride ourselves on fantastic after-sales service and typically respond on the same working day to enquiries.
In our response, we explained that minor cracking can occur naturally in solid timber and does not affect the table's structural integrity. We also provided options to resolve the issue within the email.
As a small business, we do our best to provide clear communication and fair resolutions, so it’s disappointing to receive a low rating before we’ve had the opportunity to fully assist.

80cm outside round table
Table as described. Well made and just exactly what we needed. Kept informed on delivery and well packaged.
As the table is good quality and well designed it is easy to set up and store. The service was excellent and price comparable with similar teak tables.

All screws and coachbolts rusted
All screws and coachbolts rusted, some bent and not enough to build item. Wood split and table top gouged out. Customer service hangs up because too busy. Still waiting on call back to arrange collection and refund. Horrendous experience

Firstly, we’d like to address your phone call. All our team were out of the office over the bank holiday weekend and don't typically answer calls in their free time. We do try to answer calls as best we can outside of office hours as a gesture of goodwill; however, we are based in Cornwall, and mobile signal can be unreliable at times. I can assure you our team would not have purposely hung up on you.
Regarding the items received, I’m very sorry to hear about the condition of the tabletop, the missing and damaged fixings, and the condition of the timber and metalwork. This is clearly not the standard we expect.
If you can, please send over some images of the damage and missing parts so we can review everything and outline all available options for you as quickly as possible to give you a satisfactory resolution.
Alternatively, if you would prefer to simply return the goods for a full refund, please repackage them as best you can, and we will arrange a collection for you.
We look forward to your response via email so we can resolve this promptly for you.

Ordered a bench on the 23rd April for overnight delivery. It's now the 30th April and no sign of the item having left Exeter.

Unfortunately, we have not been contacted regarding this matter, so we haven’t had the opportunity to assess the issue or offer assistance. Without that, it’s very difficult for us to put things right - a 2★ review in this situation is very disheartening.
We are a small, family-run business based in Cornwall, and we genuinely care about our customers and the products we supply. We rely on third-party couriers for deliveries, but if anything isn’t right, we will always step in to help and find a resolution.

They use substandard wood and fixings. SUGGEST you BUY elsewhere. Bought in 2023
We bought the Holt 6-8 Seater Extending Dining Table
180cm - 240cm Certified Teak Outdoor Oval Extending Dining Table with Butterfly Folding Leaf in the summer of 2023.
Then brass fixings were cheap and half of them broke or rusted so could not be tightened.
The dowels have all shrunk and now the table is wobbly!
IMHO they used substandard wood and fixings.
SUGGEST you BUY elsewhere.

We would like to clarify that the teak we use is Grade A, widely regarded as one of the highest-quality timbers for outdoor furniture. It is a naturally oily hardwood, chosen specifically for its durability, strength, and resistance to weathering. That said, as a natural material, teak will expand and contract with changes in temperature and moisture levels throughout the seasons. In some cases—particularly if furniture is exposed to prolonged wet/dry cycles or not maintained—this movement can affect components such as dowels or joints over time.
Similarly, all fixings used are specified for outdoor use, but like any metal exposed to the elements, they can be affected by environmental conditions if not periodically checked and maintained.
We’re sorry that you’ve experienced these issues; however, we have not been contacted directly regarding this matter. Had you reached out to us, we would have welcomed the opportunity to investigate and resolve this for you, whether through advice, replacement parts, or further support.

I bought five of the Donna Wicker…
I bought five of the Donna Wicker outdoor chairs for £230 each in spring 2023. By mid summer 2025 two of the chairs had at least one leg that disintegrated after light use. We only used the chairs with guests which was infrequent and have a small family. I contacted the company and was informed that the chairs should not be slid along the floor when getting in and out of the dining table and that’s why the legs are faulty. They offered me 50% off buying new chairs - why would I spend more money on chairs that will no doubt have the same issue. It’s also not possible to lift these chairs in and out by hand as they are quite heavy with thick arms.
I can now report that by spring 2026 all 5 chairs have now lost at least one or two of their legs after only 3 years of very light use. We have a nice house and garden in London and these are kept on a patio that drains well. It says nothing on the care about keeping the chairs indoors. I would absolutely not recommend buying this product as they will not stand the test of time.

Bench is wobbly
Bench is wobbly, had to put some slate under one of the legs. Also the wood on one of the legs looks line it was from another piece of furniture as it is light blocked in two places. A cheap looking bench I’m sorry to say. Cushion is violet colour not taupe.
