Easy to set up great cover for my new kitten.
Very easy to identify the correct level of cover with options to add and remove things that might be helpful or not needed. Everything was easily set up to manage the account online and ask communication was swift and timely.

Get what you pay for
Purchased the insurance. Realised an adjustment needed to be made, immediately called them up and after waiting 10-15 minutes in a queue I was told that their system is down and they will call me back once it's up. That was midday yesterday and I still haven't heard back, so either their technical systems are poor, or their customer service is. Thankfully I'm still within the 14 day cancellation period, so I'm not sticking around to find out which it is.
3 stars as the price was cheap, and I believe that's why the service is ultimately lacking. If you're comfortable with long waits and don't mind the need to follow up queries, then this may be the provider for you.

Very happy about my experience
Very happy about my experience, cancelled my Tesco ins that had climbed year on year and took one out with Swinton for half the price of Tesco . Now only time will tell if this one goes up and up, if it does seems that maybe pet ins is one that you will look around every year I do hope not.

Swinton pet insurance appears to be…Easy to arrange and competitively priced
Swinton pet insurance appears to be very competitive for what they offer compared to other pet insurance companies. I like the fact that they have a fixed excess charge and not a percentage of the overall cost of treatments. Setting up the insurance was easy through the website and only took a few minutes. If I read the T&Cs correctly I believe there is limited or no cover for the first 10 to 14 days of the policy, which I don't understand. Why?? Also, I insured two cats, but had to register two separate accounts for them with two separate usernames & passwords. Why?? Is it not possible to register two or more pets at the same address to one account?
