DO NOT USE THEM!

They're very happy to take your money off you, but they don't seem to have any interest to confirm arrangement of delivery. Very reluctant to answer the the telephone, and in one case someone hung up on me. When I finally managed to speak to someone and got the details of the supplier of oil. When calling the supplier at their closes depot to me, they were very helpful. However I'm suppose to be receiving a delivery today, which is not going to happen now, and I am waiting to hear when that will be.

Poor customer service! Not using them again.

Do not touch with barge pole! They don't answer the phone, they do not call you back. If you do manage to talk to anyone they fob you off with promises to check delivery dates, and then don't get back to you. Promised a 10 day window which passed last week, still no oil and we have had to turn off the heating. Stuck in a situation where they have taken the money but still no oil!!
Update: Having been promised faithfully delivery today, have just been fobbed off with dubious excuses of drivers off sick. The depot where the delivery is supposed to come from have no record of a delivery ordered to our address. These people are not to be trusted and don't part with your money to them!!

I have been ordering my oil online for several years and thought I would give this company a go. Asked for a 10 day delivery window to reduce the cost and it all went smoothly. Quick, simple and effective. No complaints as I got what I paid for.

We had a great experience with this company. Easy and quick to order, best price I could fine online and my oil arrived on time. I called and spoke with the office to check if there going to be an issue as the weather wasn’t great near me and the team were very helpful in assisting me. Would recommend.

DO NOT DO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! Oil ordered mid January to be delivered five days ago. Have rung everyday this week to be told each day its out on todays lorry and will be with you by lunchtime. Five days later and we now have no heating or hot water. If lucky enough not to be hing up on, we have received no apology, no chance of talking to a manager and they can't authorise a compensation payment so that we can organise an emergency delivery. This company has had our money since mid January and will not process a refund until after the weekend. I SAY ONCE MORE STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Ordered oil for delivery in a two week window by 7th February.
No communication and no delivery !!!!
Having now to order an emergency delivery at a huge cost.
Never ever use this company.
Customer service is rubbish they promise delivery and it never happens !!!!!

I will avoid this company in the future even if their oil was given out for free! Heating oil ordered 18th Jan for delivery before 4th Feb. No oil arrived even on the 4th or 5th.i called the company who said delivery has been arranged for the 6th. Guess what? No show, no communication, their office was closed by 5pm. Today is the 7th Feb, and time is 10am. No call to explain what happened with the delivery yesterday. I've just called them a few seconds ago and delivery is again scheduled for later today. With 2 little kids in the house, no oil and freezing weather, we will have no choice but to move into a bed and breakfast if oil isn't delivered by the time they're home from school. This is not just a terrible company, this is no company at all.

I ordered my fuel 500l f my tank toppers on 18th January with a delivery date on or before 1st February. Apart from the email confirmation I didn’t hear anything from them. So I rang them 4 days last week. First day asking for a confirmed delivery date - they would get back to me .... they didn’t.
Second day confirmed 4th February! 😂 not within the date period and I don’t have enough to get the weekend with 5 inches of freezing snow up here a 4 and 11 year old. I rang back telling them not acceptable Alex said she would chase and get back to me she didn’t. Rang the next day someone else said they would ring around to get an earlier date (Zack) I said why again Alex said she did it yesterday? Apparently they all got sent home because of snow, fine but it’s not hard to tell me that. So Zack DID ring back and told me confirmed delivery by Friday 1st. So have left my side gate open house insecure for two days and no oil delivery and no call to let me know. An embarrassment to the oil industry NEVER use them

I live in the north of scotland and I ordered 500 litres on jan 17th an they delivered it to the wrong address. So me and my 8 and a half month pregnant girlfriend have got no heating or hot water in this freezing winter weather. I called them at 1130 today the 23rd jan to say that they delivered to the wrong address an explain our circumstances an all i kept getting told was that they need to figure out why it went to the wrong address when the correct address is on my invoice an that someone would call me back later. It never happened so at 1650 i decided to call again as they close at 1700 only to be palmed off again till tomorrow morning (as all the managers had left) when some is meant to call me back. They were more concerned with why it went to the wrong address than with getting a delivery to me. Absolutely disgusted that the well being of my girlfriend and unborn baby girl comes 2nd to tank toppers finding out why it was delivered to the wrong address( it was their mistake so how about arranging a new/emergency delivery first then arranging to get the mis delivered oil recovered). I will be going to trading standards and to the newspapers to hopefully stop this happening to anyone else.

Ordered 2 bottles of additive for heating oil on 8th may via amazon.Money gone from my account,still waiting for delivery after 10 days and counting.

This is a heating oil Company based in Hebden Bridge and used by Tank Toppers based in Yorks.

Craggs energy were to deliver my heating oil before 2nd May 2018 in their 10 day window, which I ordered on 18TH APRIL.

I have actually asked, who exactly gets a delivery in the preceding 9 days ?

Notwithstanding the fact that I have no oil, and it is very cold, they advised me-Tank Toppers-it would be delivered Mon/Tues definitely-30thapril/1st May.

They have advised me this morning-1st May-that due to problems with the refinery deliveries, it will now be delivered on Wednesday 2nd May.

I waited in on 30th and at no stage did Tank Toppers or Craggs Energy advise of any delay, and it was not until I took issue with them, today 1st May 2018, did they start to apologise.

Their Opertions and Sales Manager-Iwho does not wish to be publicly identified-Wonder Why- apologised and said they had problems with the refineries, and deliveries. This is not my fault and should have been addressed!
He said a Director would ring, again, no communication! Apathy and Complacency are rife at this Company, embedded in the culture and start at the Top!

I noticed they get bad reviews on Google, and I am not surprised.

Pay a very little more, buy local and have peace of mind!

Stay away from TankToppers!

The Company is badly run, uncommunicative, and what pennies you might save -against local purchases- will certainly be outweighed by the appalling lack of service.

Be warned! AVOID Craggs Energy and Tank Toppers at all costs!

Their customer service is non-existent!

I received this email from tanktopper this morning 2nd May, as the lorry has not turned up
