Help please this company rang me today and got details from me. I havent signed it anything but they have my details. Can they do anything with thus??

Dreadful customer service
No contact since Feb and response to emails
Hmrc have settled to them so they have their fee and my money which they don't want to pay out it seems

Do not use this company they were under PAYE people who have scammed thousands out of people and then disappeared.. what they don’t tell you is you need to send receipts to HMRC and if you don’t you are liable for all costs (including their fee) please don’t be fooled like so many people!!

Awful scammers , avoid , never recieved a penny but they cashed cheques ..

Do not ever use this company, not only do they chase for money, they agree to a tax refund and sort it and then claim the money for themselves! Taking money from someone who is on maternity, scam!!!

Absolute shocking avoid don’t use never answer calls or emails and are reluctant to give you your money don’t use

They said it would take as little as 2 weeks 6 Nd 1/2 weeks ago they don't answer email fone calls do your self a favour and use someone else my advice

Complete rip off - NHS workers DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

I work for the NHS and having never expensed back uniform costs before, and I thought I would give it a go last year, after seeing their advert.
They were quick at communicating at first, lots of emails back and forth about info from me.
I thought I would recieve an email through to see how much the expenses were worth, how much I would get, how much they wanted etc. but this didn't happen. It was all submitted.

Eventually got a cheque from HMRC with around £70 for me for several years worth of claims, and a HUGE chunk going to the Tax People. Absolultely ridiculous. I tried to email them MANY TIMES but they don't reply.
There's also a clause that they don't make explicitly clear at the time, they're obviously trying to hide it. But the clause is about if you claim with them then the next 5 years worth of tax rebates has to go through them or something. Complete scam and i'm so upset with myself for not realising.
I tried many times to email about this 5 year rule for claims but they stopped replying to my emails.

Don't make the same mistake I did. Would put 0 stars if I could. You can easily claim expenses back on HMRC website apparently, no need to go through these scammers for NHS uniform expenses.

Can not put zero. Do not use, refund goes to these and you get next to nothing

If I could give 0 I would. the HRMC wrote and told me they had sent my rebate for uniform washing to this company. I received nothing, as what I was owed was less than they charged. I feel duped as I though I was applying directly to HRMC

If i could pout zero stars I would. I applied for a rebate, HMRC sent my cheque to the Tax People UK Ltd in Nov 2023 which I have not yet received funds for. I have contact The Tax People on several ocassions and they have ignored me so far.

This company is a rip off. The form to submit is just tick boxes for work uniform, expenses etc and they claim they contact you afterwards for all the info needed. I submitted my form and it popped up that it was estimated I’d get over £900 back. They never contacted me for any extra info at all then I got a letter from hmrc saying I was getting 76 pound. I’ve messaged the company saying they never contacted me to ask what I’d spent and that there’s a big difference in what they said I’d get to what I’d got. They’ve read the message and ignored it then sent me an email saying my claim was successful and I’m getting 76 pound and they’re keeping 60 of it! Don’t waste your time with these people they aren’t bothered about claiming you money back they just want to take what’s yours.
