Having sent me the wrong order, these guys were really apologetic and transparent in explaining what had gone wrong. They communicated well and sent the correct order within 24 hours as well as providing a refund. Will definitely be ordering again and am confident they will get it right in the future.

Delighted with the service provided. The lenses I ordered were competitively priced and I was amazed at how quickly they arrived - ordered Friday morning and arrived lunchtime the following day.

My first order with Optical Store and it will not be my last. I was wow-ed.
Quick delivery and well packaged. However I had ordered minus precipitation instead of plus and I could not see a thing! Supply was for my use on holiday, going in 3 days time. Pure panic. Phoned customer service and Tom was so helpful arranging to post next dat delivery the correct ones if I undertook to return the wrong ones.

Really happy with my experience so far! Prices are more affordable than many others out there, and there’s a nice welcome discount (use code WELCOME10 when signing up).

Customer service has been excellent — I hadn’t received an email confirming dispatch or providing an ETA, but when I reached out, the team quickly replied with an update on my delivery.

I ordered a 90-day supply of lenses, which arrived in two parts — one month’s supply first, followed by the remaining two months about a week later. This wasn’t an issue for me as I didn’t need them urgently.

The only thing I’d improve is the email updates, particularly around dispatch details and how many packages to expect as I would have been annoyed if they came separately and I had a longer trip planned

UPDATE: Someone did get in touch with me after this review and I do feel my feedback was taken on board and the situation was rectified appropriately. Whilst I cannot give it a 5 star I do feel that they are trying to do their best to fix things and make a better customer experience and have redacted my previous statements about not taking on feedback.

I ordered lenses from this website twice via their website for their customer services to get in touch via email to say they would have to give me a refund. The first time was because the manufacturer didn't make lenses in the prescription I ordered (despite me putting in my prescription via the drop downs and them letting me purchase them AND they took my money! If they are unable to provide the prescription why even let this be an option on the website). After customer services got in contact with me to tell me they had to refund me they recommended other lenses which would be a suitable replacement, but they told me because of their stock software they had to issue me a refund and then I had to go back on their website via the links THEY GAVE ME and reassured me THEY HAD THE PRESCRIPTION IN STOCK AND THAT THE MANUFACTURERS MADE THE LENSES IN MY PRESCRIPTION. I understand mistakes happen but what really annoyed me when I went through the link they gave me the website once again allowed me to order the lenses, took my money, and gave no indication that the lenses were out of stock, I got another message from customer services. This time in the day or two it took for the refund to hit my account so I could order the lenses they recommended they had apparently run out of stock...

The customer service representative I dealt with told me it was an issue with the manufacturer but i feel I shouldn't have been able to order something they didn't stock/didn't have in stock.

Thank you for making this process as seamless and easy as possible with unfaltering customer service and easy to use website. I cannot thank you enough.

This is my first time writing a Trust Pilot review and The Optical Store definitely deserves a 5 star.
Placed an order on 4/9, waited for my order for 6 days before calling them on 10/9. Apparently Royal Mail delivered it to me on 5/9. Royal Mail put it in my blue bin but never left a card or a message. The bin was emptied on 9/9, so obviously even if they did deliver it it would’ve been gone. Called them and explain that I’ve got no lenses left. They were nice enough to send me another complete order before Royal Mail even approved their claim. Very supportive customer service. Appreciate their empathy.

I have now switched to this company for my contact lenses (and my husband's as well). This company's prices are so competitive and their service is amazing.

This seems to be a local UK small business so it is good to support them.

I sent a message on their website to check on my order in the evening and I got a response within the same evening which is great - nice to be contacting real people! It definitely helps that their products are the lowest price around whether there are offers or not.

Been ordering from them for a while. Great service.
