Great lock. Have been using it as an extra lock (wheel to frame) for abt 2 months now. Recently found out you do not have to lock it, pressing down the lock part does the work.

From US to NL was a long postal journey. Postal services in NL kept it for a while before letting me know they had received it and are charging me import duties. Forgot about that part seeing what a fantastic job the lock does. The good thing is in NL nobody really knows this lock so they don’t bother trying to open it :-))

You update the lock holder. Doesn't bounce anymore. Love this lock had for years now.

These are great locks! Nearly as convenient as a cable lock, but they actually provide security. And light! I've got one for each of my bikes.

Way I see it, every small-time crook these days has a cable cutter in his back pocket, so he can grab something quick to ride around on and check car doors or score dope and such. But a cable cutter would not be very effective on a TiGr lock.

Dedicated bike thieves, on the other hand, seem to jump right up to an angle grinder now; and these locks offer about as much protection as a five-pound U lock and chain from those: pretty much none. But that's OK; you do what you can.

One thing that I've done with mine is to slide some Kevlar abrasion-resistant sleeves (made for electrical cables) over the hasps and secure it with adhesive and shrink tube so it can't be slid out of the way. Position the lock cylinder inside the rear triangle and wheel to make it hard to get at. Miserable stuff to cut, it grabs the cutoff disc and just might break it, if you try and hit it with an angle grinder. Bolt- and cable cutters are hopeless as well. It would probably take longer to chew through that stuff with a pocketknife or shears than it would to cut a good U lock.

The clip is easy to install and makes in and out simple. I am so happy to be able to park my bike safe and secure with ease,

Nicely built, quite usable although you need to find the right size pole to attach to. A bit heavier than I expected.

These are the perfect locks. Many cyclists try to make his/her components lighter. Then burden their bike with a lock weighing more than the frame. TiGr locks solve that whether for a commuter or a long-distance gravel rider. The lock's unique appearance alone discourages potential thieves. TiGr locks are fantastic. I've had one for years and I just purchased another one. It's a versatile and light lock that is easy to carry on my bike. I live in NYC. It looks different from other bike locks which I think makes any would be thieves unsure about how to deal with it. The new lock that I just ordered arrived right away.
