Very misleading as they advertise no fees yet mark up there exchange rate without saying and it ends up costing so much more than the normal exchange rate. About 10x more than Banks. Very disapointing

I went to another agency at St Luke’s. They didn’t have the currency I wanted and advised me to go to their Otahuhu branch. Fortunately I found Travel Money NZ. The woman who served me said “of course we have the currency you want”. While we waited for their safe to open, she engaged me in conversation and passed on useful tips about my destination. After giving me the money, she said, “Next time you’re at St Lukes, drop by and say hello.” I sure will.

I went in to change money to IDR for a trip to Bali. The exchange rate offered was absolute extortion. I will not return!

Hayley at the Northlands branch gave me exceptional customer service when I needed currency for a recent trip. I had tried 4 other companies/stores prior to ringing Travel Money NZ, and none of them could help me. A friend recommended I contact Flight Centre Northlands, and I’m not sorry. I rang in the morning & Hayley had the cash ready by the afternoon. She also offered a really good rate. Responsive & just what you need when getting ready for travel.

Exchange rate was dreadful. I changed $950 Aus and got less than $950 NZ. Your fees are way too high.
A travel debit card has much better rate and better security.

I will use it as a learning experience as I shouldn't have exchanged so much NZ $ when my travelling mates had no trouble getting money out at international airports at lower cost. I was told I was getting a very good deal as we booked our flights through Flight Centre ? I do have to say the man I dealt with at Travel Money was very efficient.

The service was very quick but the rates were terrible. I should have checked before I pay my money what the actual rate was versus what good market rates would be. Will not be going back.

Very friendly staff who were efficient and professional and seemed genuinely interested in us.

They closed for lunch so I went elsewhere. I won't use them again. Other currency exchange companies were open and happy to do business.
