First - don't expect to get to or from NY in the advertised 4.5 hours. There were no delays whatsoever in either direction and it took 5.5 hours. The company needs to re-evaluate its advertised time. The 2pm arrival estimate was a pipe dream.We got there around 3:15. The driver would have had to have gone 80mph to even attempt it. Same going the other way. The drive to NYC required a driver swap but it took little time, but it wasn't until the bus got to Bethesda that we actually heard anything about the power outlets that are well hidden under the seats and hard to use, or the internet which was basically a wireless signal with no internet behind it. The bus did leave right on time, it was clean and the drivers, when they did talk to us were friendly. The ride home I heard not a peep from him. I realized during the first trip that a Tripper bus representative was on the bus with us, but that person did not identify themselves during the trip. The NYC-Arlington bus didn't have one empty seat. Water was offered on the Arlington to NYC route but we had to ask for it on the ride back to Arlington. The trip to NYC did offer a rest stop in NJ for 10 minutes. We went straight through with a full bus with no offer to stop on the way back. 50+ people and one toilet is not the greatest equation. This is not the great experience I read about in the Washington Post. All in all it was okay but nothing special. If the ride back was at least as good as the ride to NYC this review would be 4 stars.

Tripper is great except for one thing: Half the time I take the bus the Wi-Fi is not working and the drivers do not understand that the problem is not with the passengers but with the Gunther server. It may look like the Wi-Fi is working because the bars at the top of one's phone or tablet show a connection, but in fact the server is down so there is no Wi-Fi.

Service is generally good. Waiting locations could use more signage, esp. guidance for lining up in separation from other bus line in NY.

Always have friendly employees, water & charging ports. hardly ever delayed, I use this company all the time and am very happy with it.

I love them! It's a more expensive than the Chinatown buses, but they're always on time and check in is easy.

I travel almost twice a month o more, but the las two times was really bad , when I travel at 5:30 the driver get out from the city at 6:30 he don't want take the Lincoln tunel, he went around all the city for take the Holland tunel, today the bus coming soo hot and one of the pasanger tell to him put the AC on and the answer was is on, but I want some of you coming in this bus, is long trip and is soo hot, that s wy I take the vamoose all the time for coming back to new york, the buses are fresh and better and the drivers alway on time

The bus from Bethesda to NY could use some overhaul - recline levers mostly don't work. On the way back from (10/30/16 - 10:00 am fromNY) it was a different bus which was excellent. On the whole, excellent service.

Tripperbus is the most reliable bus I have used. I use tripper twice a month from nyc to Bethesda, MD. In nyc, it's conveniently located right outside penn station and in bethesda it's walking distance to the bethesda metro as well as a few places like starbucks and panera. It's always on time. If you buy 6 tickets you get 1 free. They have water bottles before boarding the bus. The outlets have always worked so I can charge my phone/laptop during the ride.☺

Issues:
Internet goes in & out sometimes.
Twice the bus has had issues (flat tire & mechanical difficulty) which caused my 4 hour trip to turn into a 6-8 hour trip 😑

My mother ask me to write the review o her behalf. The overall service was very professional. The driver was very corteous and got the passengers on time and safely.

Wish we could reserve seats so there would be no need to line up half an hour in advance.
Otherwise the service is excellent.

On my trip going to Arlington that Wednesday the bus that had a African American woman driver the bus was clean it was great.when I returned the trip was terrible the bathroom reeks of urine. the bus was not as clean as my trip going down.

Bus had flat tire on side of highway. Resulted in 3 hour delay. Things happen and i understand it was out of everyone's hands but no acknowledgement from tripper other than a misleading email during the breakdown saying it would cause a 1 hr delay. Would have appreciated better communication. Discount token for the inconvenience would have been nice.
