The driver was great and got us there on time

I have been using Tripperbus exclusively for a few years now. Of all the services I have used, this is by far the best. Great drivers and staff; clean and comfortable coaches; reliable WiFi and electrical outlets. My only complaint -- I wish they had other routes.

Tripper once again reinforced why it's the best bus service to New York. It's always on time, the staff and driver are great, and when a last-minute change occurred in my itinerary, Tripper was on it immdiately, and called several times to make sure everything was correctly rescheduled.Thanks, Tripper!

Unlike their competition, Tripper Bus refuses to return your money even if you reach out to them via email telling them that you did not take the trip and canceled more than 24 hours in advance.

I love Tripper and use it often. They are very punctual and the buses are usually clean. My one complaint is that the wifi never works!

Reservation process was quick and simple to use. Rosslyn location was convenient and easy to find. Bus driver was helpful with getting us on the bus and stowing our luggage. Bus was clean and well equipped with cup holders and, in the front row where we sat, a small table surface so my kids could eat their meal. Drivers were safe and our arrival in NYC was on time. Wifi was slow, but that wasn't a deal breaker for my crew. Bottled water was appreciated.

The ride from Bethesda to New York was great - on time, comfortable, with a good staff. Only down-side was that the internet connection was very slow - I recommend taking a hotspot with you, if planning to go online.

Bus pick up point in Rosslyn was convenient and easy to find. Staff polite and friendly. Comfortable bus. Good experience and great price.

The ride from Arlington to New York took over 6 hours and 30 minutes, instead of the estimated 4 and a half. Traffic was not unusual. There was an almost 30 minute stop in Bethseda, and another 25 minute rest stop somewhere on the way.

Very relaxing ride. The busses are clean and comfortable. Have taken Tripper bus 10+ times and have never had one bad experience. The staff is very friendly and offer free bottled water on every trip.

I've only taken 1 Tripper bus, but it won't be my last. The buses arrived VERY early before departure time, so I didn't have to stand out in the cold waiting! I was able to get onto the bus about 30min early. Complementary water bottle, outlets, wifi, all worked. Driver was VERY friendly and accommodating, and arrival time was exactly what was expected. I felt safe on the drive and I would definitely take again.

The service at Tripper Bus is good, usually. Unfortunately, our bus had a flat on the way to NYC, and we had 2 accidents on I-95 on the way home to Bethesda. The driver did his best to correct both of these mishaps, but about a half hour was added to the trip on each end.
Unfortunately, the leg room on these buses is quite limited, and the trip feels much longer as a result. The newer bus we had before the flat had more leg room. The older buses are very cramped.
The company has raised rates on peak travel times, and kept the lower rates for off peak. I would like to see a flat price structure no matter what time of day you travel. One gets the sense that Amtrak might become competitive if I have to pay more at peak times. The trains would be more comfortable.

Overall, my trip ride was good. It was a smooth ride and the driver was safe on the roads which is always great however there were two issues with the ride. There were only 5 outlets total on the coach and most of them were not working. Also, the heat was not working on the bus and it was practically freezing the entire ride. I asked the driver to turn on the heat which he did but the bus just get circulating cold air the entire time. I still like Tripperbus because they leave on time and for the most part its a comfortable and safe ride but please don't use that bus anymore.

Bus left 30 minutes late and stopped for gas for 45 minutes. Bus driver was rude and got in over an hour late with no traffic. Sent a complaint email and never heard back.

I have been using Tripper bus between New York and Maryland / Virginia for the last six to seven years and I am happy to notice that they have been improving the quality of their buses and services like wifi over the years. If time permits a coffee break of about 15 minutes enroute would help.

I booked Tripper after a friend recommended it, travelling from NY to Arlington while on vacation. Driver was courteous and the bus was decent BUT there was a technical issue which resulted into a 45 min delay as the bus pulled over from the highway and into a company yard to be checked. That coupled with the increased traffic resulted into a 5,5 hr journey time. Although cheap, I think next time it will be train or plane for me.

PS. What is with Americans and A/C? It was 15 C outside and 5C in the bus!!
