Estados Unidos da América
Switched to Minded for ease of telehealth and delivery during the start of the pandemic and at first it was mostly fine except that the delivery never showed up when their partner Medly said it would.
The last time I re-filled, Medly didn't reach out to me about delivery at all. When I reached out to them they told me Minded hadn't sent them anything. I then reach out to Minded who basically never answer their calls and I wait business hours for them to respond to their support messages. They eventually get it delivered.
Now again the same thing happens. I realize on a Friday I'm going to run out over the weekend if they don't fulfill it that day - they of course don't answer their phone, send holding emails for my messages, and I'm left the weekend with no course of action because they only have staff 9-5 Monday-Friday. This is a bad model for a company serving people with medication needs and mental health issues. A company that sells medication should have support when people don't get what they need/are paying for. Looks like it's back to traditional psychiatry and prescriptions.
*DO NOT TRUST IF YOU'RE ON BENZOS*
It's worth nothing that I have been prescribed Benzos for the last 5 years. I switched over to telehealth due to my usual doc retiring and covid-19 hitting.
At first, minded was great! They helped carry my prescription over and continued providing the services I had sought out to replace my doc. Then, suddenly and abruptly, they cut me off of my medication completely and threw me Hydroxyzine, which is, at best, overpowered benadryl.
I have chronic panic disorder, GAD, and quite a few other things wrong with me (hence being on prescription benzos for 5 years.) - Benadryl isn't going to cut it.
It's also worth noting that it is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING to remove someone who has a physical dependence on benzodiazepines cold turkey. You are supposed to provide a taper regiment to wean them down (this is usually with valium or klonopin), however the "mental health experts" at Minded seemed to casually forget all about Benzodiazepine Withdrawal Syndrome, a withdrawal experience that is *worse than alcohol or heroin.*
Minded did not care about my genuine need to continue such medication, and decided it was in their companies best interest to cease it abruptly, without warning.
I had a seizure due to this issue, and ended up in the ER, where actual professionals stated how DANGEROUS it was to remove a long term benzo user off of the drug in question without weaning them off.
This company is out to make $ and sweep you under the rug. Do not trust them.
For your every day SSRI, I'm sure it's fine, but if you actually have anxiety disorders that are debilitating, please find help elsewhere. This company does not care about you and likely lost their license to provide controlled substances, thus making a lot of their patients suffer.
It started off great, they gave me my meds and counseling. Then, all of the sudden, all the reasons why I can't take the medication they had been prescribing.
They told me I needed a psychiatrist, that is why I signed up for counseling, they could care less.
I asked for another provider; was promised they would take care of my needs, they refused to prescribe me any medication again.
For a company who says they help mental health, they are right, they help it get much worse and make you feel hopeless.

By far the worst platform I have ever used. inaccessible, and horrible customer service. Could not advise enough, it is not worth 25$ for all the extra grief this platform caused me.

I've been to about 10 different psychiatrists in 25 years. This is the first time I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. Stacey Davis made me feel so comfortable and she was so easy to talk to. She helped me get past my fear of going on meds again, which I desperately need right now. I actually felt like I had positive energy again after my first appt.
This Tryminded service is a hidden gem. I'll be honest, it was SO reasonable I was afraid it was a scam when i first saw it. It's a subscription service that's more affordable than some co-pays WITH insurance. Also, the convenience of being able to have your appt from home, especially when youre struggling with anxiety and depression is so helpful. I'm so happy and finally hopeful since I found this service.

It seems that far more people post negative results w/Tryminded than positive. I'm glad that I read these reviews before reaching out and losing a heap of $$$$'s. Telemedicine has its virtues and snake pits.
Just signed up and it would not let me schedule an appointment nor get my money back. Very weird don’t do it!

Horrible experience with this company. I will give you the initials of the provider I saw KH. I emailed them to get a refund because he was no help and was very unfriendly. I haven't got a response and it was 3 days ago I asked for a refund.. Stay away from their "services"

Minded let me down in a major way. This is my very first review ever as I am the type to just let a bad experience go and move on. In this instance I needed to comment in hopes they actually listen this time, and any future considerations from patients in need will go elsewhere. I had high hopes for this company as I am a very busy working professional, and the sole earner for my family. I am not able to take half days to get refills on my anxiety medication and thought I hit gold by finding this company that could help me via web meetings. Of course when getting set up I was told I'd be well taken care of and that their doctors are very experienced in assisting with benzodiazepines, ALSO SAFELY TAPERING. This is not a medication you rush people off of, anyone with general smarts can research The Ashton Method for benzo tapering or anywhere else via standard google searches. I understand the pharma companies will sell that there's no such thing as withdrawal from their medications, that's bad for business. This is understood, however doctors should know better and know that tactic, not to follow a pamphlet but rather follow a patient's experience and behavior. I am not a patient who has EVER abused, been addicted or acted out in anyway when it comes to treatment with serious medications. With that said, they started out with me after getting my first payment to enroll that my last doctor who demanded seeing me every month was rushing me much to quickly and for no reason. What I think caused me the problem was saying, "I think I'm ready to start tapering my medication". DO NOT EVER SAY THIS. Start tapering on your own fellow patients ok??!!?? Go at your own pace, nice and safely, then once the talk happens to start tapering, you're already far ahead so when they start pushing you off for some mysterious deadline they seemed to say exists, you'll be safe. Anyway, not the case for me since I was honest and assuming they were going to adhere to what we agreed to when we started treatment. The doctor advised that we go at a nice easy pace and base it off of MY symptoms. Since I have zero history of abuse or any addictive signs, this was an easy call for the doctor to make. Long story longer, after my first refill, they went to reduce me BY 50%, yes- FIFTY PERCENT!!!!!! I became horribly sick and missed days of work as a result of this!!!!!! Not to mention, Minded WILL NOT correspond with you. I never once got a message returned by any attempt in their so called, "support@" email, any social media, phone number, or anything. They do not talk to you unless you're about to sign up. I was desperate for help and had to assume that this was simply a mistake. It couldn't have been a doctor's call purposely right because this would be malpractice of course. We agreed to go to 2mg tablets as that tablet is the same size as a 5mg tablet, therefore from 5mg down to two 2mg tablets. Easy to follow right? That's already a reduction by 1mg.. She told me that this was fine and to also stay at the original dose one more month to stabilize as I had 3 reductions back to back before having a chance to ever get stable. I was grateful for this and we were in 100% agreement. The next month was going to be the two 2mg tablets, and break quarters off from there so that the quarter reductions were only .5mg versus 1.25mg off of a 5mg tablet. Not only did she not adhere to this agreement, she wrote me a prescription for one 2mg tablet per day and left out the other 30 tablets of 2mg. So, instead of 60 tablets, I got 30 tablets. This was pure HELL and after trying to get someone to please help, finally after who knows how long, I got an appointment. The doctor who stepped in to help admitted this was a grave mistake but couldnt interfere with another doctor's methods. Go figure right. So she said, just take the correct dose and get another appointment with the original doctor to clear this up. After waiting again for who knows how long, my original doctor had a slot. On the web call, she said that this is what it needs to be and this prescription was what she meant to do! SO instead of taking accountability for making this major mistake and me suffering some serious withdrawals because of her, she kept me going this way and that was that. She told me, "this is what the guidelines are"!! Are you F'ing kidding me???!!!!!??? Keep in mind what I said earlier about monitoring a patient's symptoms? There's no such thing as this. I went to a new doctor who said the same thing. For one, this was absolutely undeniably irresponsible. My new Dr disclosed how the rules work and there's nowhere that says you HAVE TO rush people off (at dangerous levels) "or else" you're busted. I am finally under the right care and I pray that whoever reads this will think about what I said and know that with my detail I'm not making something up. This is my Minded experience.

Absolutely AWFUL. If I could rate it ZERO stars I would!! They do not respond to any messages, any phone calls, any social media... Nothing!!! I had an appointment scheduled after 3 weeks of waiting and trying to get in touch with someone and after signing in, the doctor just DIDNT SHOW UP!! So now I'm in week 3 without my meds, and I have to wait an additional week because the doctor never showed up!! I've reached out in every way possible and have yet to get a single response since 2:30pm and it's now 4:50 and they close at 5. So I paid for a service that I cannot get because they're not capable of answering, and their doctors apparently can just ghost you. DONT bother trying this service. You will not get an appointment or your meds on time and will likely waste your money.

Definitely doesn’t take the place of a real DR to me. The APRN was cold to me & I also felt like she judged me. If you’re looking to get a controlled med don’t even bother. I know they claim that if you get RX’ed them it’s fine but they flat out said no even though I have a valid RX. Just go to your dr. I even asked before I paid & they said yes, false advertising. I really think they look down on people who need certain anxiety medications. Don’t bother leaving a response, there’s absolutely nothing I need to email you about.
Kevin was great! Highly relatable, personable, knowledgeable, and overall a great guy!
His composure gave me a sense of calm and felt like I was being helped, which may be difficult to do via the internet.
Kevin is genuine and really wanted to help (which is sometimes lacking with other providers)
I had a great first meeting with Kevin and am looking to continue further!

Last review on this company. You know you aren't really helping when you reach out and continue to do the same thing I think they like to have the last word in a review to make it seem like you want to reach out but its more smokescreens and im completely done stop trying to get the last word on my review I dont like your company practices or anything else stop coming on to my review its desperate and i have a new doctor and my medications were delivered today you know which ones right? The ones I showed prior proof for go away Minded far away!!
My first session with Minded was with Dr. Shebna Osanmoh I went very well. I explained the issues (long hours at work and road rage) that were causing my anxiety. He showed a lot empathy and suggested a couple of ways to work thru the anxiety. We decided to start with meds (Sertraline 25 mg) first, and see how they help me get over the anxiety. I appreciated Dr. Shebna advice and I felt it was a productive session.
