I had a great experience with Anamaria Shanley. She was supportive and gave me tips on how to control how I was feeling at the time. Understanding and kind. I really enjoy her and will definitely recommend her if anyone is in need!

I give my doc 5 stars because she actually sat and listened to what I had to say and she did not try and sway me from my goal which was to try and get medication management done properly. She told me the facts and explained the when and why of what she was doing and invited me back so that we could do it all again. I felt very at ease with her

I already wrote a review without them asking but I got an email requesting one so here is one more detailed.
I am very pleasantly surprised with my first experience. I was initially scheduled with a woman but had to reschedule due to covid. I was scheduled with Nils Magnusson, no charge or anything. I had low expectations and wanted to not even join the call, but I am glad I did. Nils listened to me, he didn’t tell me how I felt, he offered a different perspective to things. He told me “I am my own expert”, regarding medications that I had success with and ones that I didn’t. I have insurance now and could have gone in person. But for $65 (which is hard for me to spare) I get care that I am excited about and if I have issues I can get in touch with someone within a day, without a copay. I am grateful to have chose this service. I will be continuing for sure.

I love the fact that I didn’t have to leave my own home. I recently underwent four surgeries on my back and it’s hard for me to get around. So for me to get in the car and go here and there is just not in my thing today. The doctor was very pleasant to talk with very questionable of my needs which I really really liked.

Great first experience. I was running late and the dr waited! It meant so much. I was already having a rough day and really needed this appointment. She listened and provided feedback. Gave options and also gave her honest opinion. I will definitely be continuing treatment.

However, the UX of the site is a little difficult. I can see appointments, but am unable to make new appointments. The message symbol at the top always makes me think i have an unread message, but these are minor things!!

I'm not very hopeful the medication prescribed will be helpful, but at this point I'll try almost anything. Typical experience for an online service. No anti-anxiety meds other than antihistamines. Fairly disappointing.

My initial provider missed my appointment and I did not hear from Minded for a few days. This was concerning as I was running out of medication. Once Minded contacted me, I was able to reschedule quickly with a new provider and that experience was good.

I liked the Nurse Practitioner, we discussed my basic issues and got started on a medication plan.

I started with minded about two months ago and I have the most wonderful and attentive doctor in just that little time she has found the perfect regiment for my problems thank you Dr. Kenny I have not felt like normal in a few years with my medication I have started to be more interested in life and what's going on around me even my mom said I haven't seen you this happy in a long time so people around me are noticing the improvement in me Thank you so much Dr. Kenny you're awesome

I have loved my experience so far. It was easy to sign up, scheduling san appointment was very easy. My NP, Kevin, is amazing. I felt comfortable from the minute we got on the call and he explained things so well. I felt heard and validated. As someone who has recently started struggling with mental health issues, this has been the best decision I have made. I look forward to continuing on with Minded!

You will not get the help you need from them!! I have been with Minded for 3 months now and I am currently scheduling with my previous dr! I wanted to try Minded because I don’t have insurance and I thought it would be a good option! But it has been a nightmare! I was told I would be prescribed 1mg one medication that was changed to .5mg without me even being talked to (the nurse practitioner just “changed her mind”). She told me to try it and I it for a month. The first month and our next appointment I let her know the medication works for me but only at 1mg and .5mg does not help. I had also had to go to another dr in the mean time to get a decent sleep aid. The first one she prescribed cause me to have a raving heart beat and kept me up all night and it took 3 weeks for me to even be able to talk to her again smh!! When I did finally get to talk to her again she did raise my sleep aid prescription which I needed but she insisted I try .5mg another month because she felt like getting more sleep would make me need it less so I tried it for yet another month. But still it was not enough! And it’s .5mg 30 tablets so if I take the 1mg I need that’s only 15 days (which is very stressful in itself). So this month when my appointment came around I was scheduled with the same nurse practitioner until the day before my appointment and then they changed it to someone different. When I tried to explain the situation and past couple months to this new nurse practitioner she was very rude! She talked over me most of the time and she kept saying that none of what I was saying was in the notes and so she could not verify that any of it was true! She also said “it is against company policy to ever increase the dosage of your medication” and then said “well it’s my decision and I am not going to increase it”! So she flat out lied cause I know better than it being a “company policy” and I was only asking for what I was told I would be prescribed to begin with so it is not a crazy request! I feel like I was completely lied to and led on!! How can they actually be helpful if they change who you see and they don’t take notes of everything that has happened! She also wrote on the .5mg take 1/2-1 tablet daily! Even after I told her .5mg doesn’t do anything .25mg is a joke!! And this new NP insisted if I wanted help I would take a 3rd med which I researched and it had a 48% positive return rate! The reviews were horrible and that is a drug that would be extremely hard to get off (a message you have to take 2x day for 2-4 weeks and it may help some) vs what I was asking for (take it as you need it)! You will not get the help you need from them!! I got an email from the Founder of Minded, David, asking about my experience and I emailed him 7 days ago with no response….. I’m response to your “response” to my review… I have waited a week now and heard nothing and I canceled my account due to the fact that you obviously don’t care!!!

I ended up seeing my PCP anyway because this service wasn’t productive at all.

They give the facade of someone who's trying to help you, but unfortunately it's just a scam to get money and subscribers. I've had severe GAD for years and am now having panic attacks so severe that my body turns to stone for up to 15 min at a time. She decided I need blood pressure medication, despite the fact I was prescribed klonopin and Valium for over 6 years.. have been off for about a year. the point of this app is so you can get medicine cheaper than seeing a real dr. Long story short don't waste your time or money if you know what meds you need. Go to private practice drs. Stay well.
