Tuffboxes bike shed - amazing product + amazing service
Not one for often leaving reviews unless very good or very bad! But have to say my experience of Tuffboxes was exemplary.
Firstly the product is amazing - well designed, easy to put together (took me just over an hour - a million times easier than the competitors), looks great and was a much better size than the alternatives out there (I had a small space and needed something that fitted perfectly)
Then there was the service - Jayne and Matt were both phenomenal! Really quick delivery, very personal service (a proper person to talk to and arrange things) and couldn’t have helped more when I needed some support with delivery logistics.
Cannot recommend them highly enough - literally incredible.

Delivery has let you down
Delivery has let you down, delivery time between 09:00 and 13:00. Waiting around all day when I have things to do. Yes we are all busy.

Unfortunately, once orders are with the courier, we don’t have control over their delivery schedules or exact arrival times. That said, we do appreciate your comments and understand your frustration.
Tuff bolt sliders not fit for purpose
I bought 2 of the Tuff bolt sliders
Awful things terrible design!!! There are internal bars in the roof of the box so as soon as something moves when your driving it caches the top and the draws don’t open! Useless in a moving vehicle. Tuff refused to do anything about it as apparently I’m the only person who’s ever had this problem.

Thank you for your message, to add some material facts, you ordered 2 off Volt sliders on the 23rd January 2026, on the 28th April 2026, 3 months later you raised a complaint on email complaining that the drawers were getting stuck in use and claimed that you weren’t overfilling them. On the day you raised complaint we responded back with the following
“The fact you have 2 and report problems with them would make me think you are potentially overloading them with weight or volume and hence experiencing the drawers fouling. Please can you send me some photos of your install. If you have access to the drawers I’d need to see a video of the drawers fouling please so I can assess your claim”
No photos or videos were received so we could assess your unique complaint, the only responses received were of a rude nature with the threat of resorting to leaving negative reviews. We would fully support any customer with genuine complaint.
Any drawer slider system has its limitation, if you overfill the sliders there is potential for the drawer system to foul but this is the same for any type of drawer.

Still not received lock box mega after nearly a week.
I will always give a lower rating when things are sent by FedEx as they are really bad in my area. Two attempted delivery's over two days with someone waiting in and all i get is a photo of the rear of the property Twice.

Thank you for your message — I understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially when you’ve been available for the deliveries.
I can confirm that we received your order on the 9th of April and dispatched it on the 13th. As we do not operate on Fridays or weekends, this is within our stated 3–5 working day dispatch timeframe.
We do use FedEx as our delivery partner; however, once the parcel has been handed over, delivery attempts and access to the property are managed directly by them and are outside of our control.
All very quick and straight forward

High cost phone number and poor service
We had been told that a delivery was due the next two days and someone needed to be in. Waited two days and no delivery. Friday was the second day and when I phoned the company, I found that they only worked Monday to Thursday. I contacted them on the Monday and they told me that it had been delivered and signed for. Fortunately for me they where wrong and it was delivered later that day.
I thought it would be nice to let them know, so I called them with the details. Only to find that I was paying for the privilege, the 0845 number they gave me was a £1 a minute. Total cost to my bill £6.
