The buying process was simple and delivery when I was told it would be.
The draw is very solid and fits between the wheel arches, the only negative would be the lock position makes it very difficult to turn the key especially when on a bunch of keys. Otherwise very pleased with my purchase.

Box was delivered damaged, photo sent to customer service, answer was promised in 1 day max, 4 days later still waiting. Very poor!

I am sorry tuffbox but I have a “vanvault” in my other vehicle and the lock is far superior, I removed them both to compare, the “vanvault” lock has a sturdy key with dimples which is unpickable and not likely to break or bend

The disc lock supplied with the tuff box is thinner than the van vault so you can’t even upgrade as it doesn’t fit in the tuff box unless you angle grind the draw to make a larger hole for the lock to sit.

Now let’s get to the “tamper proof” lock.
Firstly the key is thin metal and looks like it will get damaged easily! As for the lock, I was able to pick this lock in under a minute with basic locksmith tools and very limited locksmith knowledge.

I am sure I speak for everyone who may potentially buy a tuff box and say please upgrade your locks and increase the price if necessary, tuff box is really competitively priced but an extra £20-£30 to upgrade them is a drop in the ocean to keep tools safe and still be cheaper than the other brands.

Lock & key are the only things setting you apart from your competitors, the rest of the box is really well made and functional.

The only reason we buy these vaults is to keep our tools safe, if somebody is capable and dedicated enough to break into a van they will surely get into a tuff box.

I would love to hear a response as I would like to support your business in the future if these minor amendments can be made.

Great tool boxes. Very strong and very heavy. I bolted too together and put in a pickup bed. Only down side is you can’t remove the key with it unlocked. Delivery was quick and well packaged.

Brought a so called tough slider from these. It’s terrible doesn’t slide in and out effectively. The lock is awful and is too close to the bottom so you can’t even turn it properly.

If you need to call them don’t waste your time they hang up the call and then block you. They have done it to me twice now!

Avoid this company at all costs spend the additional money on a van vault don’t waste your money.

You can’t even put a bag of plaster on top of this box it stops the drawer from opening. It’s quite honestly terrible!

they where so helpfull the price compared to the compertition makes you think they will be cheap build the oppersite we have the other makes and these are better the packageing was over the top allways expect things to come damaged not with theses guys spot on

Tool box is good, would be better if you could take the keys out when unlocked. Also Same keys would be better for both locks. But delivered when scheduled

Very efficient, prompt, competitive

The communication from ToughBox was excellent they made sure someone would be there to take delivery. I'm really pleased with my ToughBox it's very robust and well made. The colours make it stand out, much nicer than the only black option if you go AmorGuard. The handle and feet very simple to fit with the bolts supplied. Unfortunately FedEx didn't show up on the arranged delivery date and turned up a day late
