I purchased the marque on the 18th November 2025 and it was delivered on the 20th November. Delivery was really quick. We wanted to time how quickly it would take to assemble so we could gage it ready for Christmas dinner
On 29th November 2025 we started to assemble the marquee to make sure there were no faults, we purchased to have our Christmas dinner in the garden due to the sheer volume of ppl, plus it limits the noise for my noise sensitive children.
When we started assembling I noticed a Rip in the roof canopy, this made us further inspect the roof. We located a few other holes and rips.
I got straight on the phone and spoke to Daniel who was very rude from the get go. He stated “ what do you want me to do at 4.16pm on a Saturday afternoon”. All I was enquiring was “what did I need to do and should I continue to assemble”. He advised me he didn’t have time to deal with it and to contact Abby on Monday, then the phone went dead. He actually put the phone down on me !!! Daniel rang me back to give me Abby’s email address

I emailed Abby and sent photos, after finishing assembling the marquee it was around 6.30pm. It was dark and freezing. It had take us almost 3 hours to assemble.
We decided to take it down in the morning. It was up for less than 24 hours.
After having a conversation with my husband I decided to reject the faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 section 20, I emailed Abby to let her know this.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 section 20 Uk tents are obligated to cover the cost of collecting the goods and refund me in full.
Abby replied back to me and was very rude from the start. When I raised the issue with Abby she attempted to push the blame back onto me rather than acknowledging their obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Instead of offering a refund they demanded that I pay for the return due to the company’s 6.2 terms and conditions.
Abby told me they would replace the canopy as a good will gesture after they have inspected it first. I pointed out my consumer rights override the company’s terms and conditions.
I have spoken with citizens advice and been advised to action section 75 under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Abby informed me if I action a section 75 I would be doing this illegally and if I did action a charge back “we have our own methods to deal with this”
I have taken this as a direct threat and will be reporting this threat to the police.
I have 6 disabled and vulnerable children in the house and a disabled husband. My husband works hard for his wages even though he finds work very challenging.
The company is being completely unreasonable, rude and clearly breaching my statutory rights and consumer rights.
Citizens advice have reported the company to Trading standards and I will be contacting them directly myself.
The product was faulty from the start, yet UK Tents has treated me with utter disregard, treated me like I am thick and I am at fault. For a company that supplies tents the behaviour is shocking, despicable and unacceptable.
I have contacted my credit card and actions a section 75, they have all the evidence. Luckily I have cctv that shows everything.
I strongly advise others to avoid UK Tents. They sell faulty goods and they try to make the customer taken on the costs of their own failings.
In my view, this company cannot be trusted to provide quality products or honour basic consumer protections and rights.
I have tonight done my research on companies house to find out Daniel who I spoke with is the director of the company.
Lesson I have learnt before buying from any company online I will now be checking the customer services reviews going forward. No doubt a reply will be to blame me, check out all of the other 1* reviews. The company blames its customers rather than taking accountability

Abby sent an email “Please note, if you do a chargeback on your credit card this will be illegally done which we have our own methods to deal with this. The legal way to do it would be to raise a court dispute and go from there”this is responding to a customer in a threatening manner.
You are stating section 6.2 in your terms conditions override my consumer rights when they do not, you are legally obliged to collect the goods due to being faulty. I can legally refuse a replacement under the Consumers rights 2015 act. I have done a charge back with my credit card, you have 45 days to respond and then I can challenge your response. if Mastercard deem me liable I will then action a section 75 claim and exercise my consumer rights. The charge back hasn’t even been concluded yet and In the process of this charge back the company have started a small claims against me. You have not even issued me with a “letter before court action”. I will stand up for my consumer rights and not back down. You picked the wrong person to fight with over £429.28p

Very prompt delivery on the day requested.
Good quality marquee which is quite versatile in that all side panels are separate, allowing doorway at your preferred position. Spacious storage bags.
We had an issue with a slightly faulty pole, (bolt holes misaligned) but Abby in customer service sorted this efficiently, with the replacement pole and complimentary spare bolts and wing-nuts delivered the next day.

Howard and his team are amazing gentlemen, who gave me an incredible deal on their excellent quality, Elite range Gazebos.
All of my questions were answered throughly, as we discussed the differences between the large range of gazebos they stock.
They took the time to help me make an informed decision on which range would suit my needs best.
No hard sell, just good honest advise and very competitive pricing in todays cash strapped world.

We bought a marquee from UK TENTS last Christmas. Great item at a good price…unfortunately it was damaged in a storm so we needed a few spare parts. Abby was really helpful in directing us to the parts we needed & helped make it more affordable for us to reorder the bits we needed.

Fantastic Customer Service.
I ordered a pop up gazebo. It arrived quickly but unfortunately with the wrong coloured canopy. I contacted UK Tents and they sent out a replacement immediately. You can only judge a company on how it resolves problems. UK Tents was 5 star.

I recently purchased three classic pop-up gazebos from UK Tents, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional.
The gazebos themselves are fantastic – sturdy, easy to set up, and exactly as described. You can tell the quality is there, and they’ve already stood up to some unpredictable British weather with no issues!
Customer service was excellent too. I had a couple of questions before ordering, and they were quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Delivery was fast and everything arrived in perfect condition.
I don’t often leave reviews, but UK Tents truly deserves a 5-star rating. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality gazebos. Great value and great service – thank you!

My experience with UK Tents has been nothing short of disgraceful. The gazebo arrived with a damaged arm, and although a replacement part was sent, during the very first proper setup the cross arm snapped despite me following the instructions step by step. This left the product completely unfit for purpose.
When I raised the issue, UK Tents attempted to push the blame back onto me rather than acknowledging their obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Instead of offering a straightforward refund or replacement, they demanded that I pay for the return, plus “admin fees” and even the original delivery cost — just so they could “inspect” the faulty product. This is completely unreasonable and a clear breach of my statutory rights.
The product was faulty from the start, yet UK Tents has treated me with utter disregard. For a company that supplies equipment people depend on, this behaviour is shocking and unacceptable.
I strongly advise others to avoid UK Tents. They sell faulty goods, then try to make the customer shoulder the costs of their own failings. In my view, this company cannot be trusted to provide quality products or honour the most basic consumer protections.
I will be escalating this matter to Trading Standards and making my experience known across review platforms including Trustpilot, Google, and Facebook so that other potential customers are fully aware of how UK Tents treats its customers.
** As you can see from the company reply they like to ASSUME that the product was used, their terms and condition infringes on your consumer rights.. shocking behaviour!

The customer service and support provided by this company is incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure our tent was ready for use after a slight accident. This was no fault of the tent at all. The team advised and provided us with spare parts which ensures long term durability. The tent is easy to put up and take down, is good quality and excellent value. Highly recommended in every way.

I have tried a couple of times to get in touch with you to return an unused item but get no reply. I made an honest mistake with the measurements and offered to cover the cost of the postage. I bought a 5m x 10m marquee for my Mums 80th Birthday party. We were worried about the winds that were reaching 40mph. We needn't have worried, it stayed up and has been 100% waterproof.
The instructions were easy to follow and the marquee took 3 adults to lift. It is decorated beautifully that it looked like a wedding marquee!
Would highly recommend. Thank you.
