Moving day is usually full of anxiety
Moving day is usually full of anxiety, but this company made it a breeze. The movers arrived right on time and got straight to work. They were so organized and efficient that it felt like a well-oiled machine. What stood out to me the most was how careful they were with my belongings. Every box and piece of furniture was handled with respect, and nothing was damaged during the move. Their positive attitudes also helped alleviate my stress—no complaints from me, just praise for their excellent service. If you’re looking for a hassle-free move, this company is the way to go.

Moving across states can be a daunting task, but United Regions made it easy. I was relocating for work and needed a reliable moving company that could handle everything from packing to transportation. From the moment I contacted United Regions Van Lines, their customer service was excellent. They were responsive, informative, and provided a detailed quote that was transparent and fair.
I opted for their full-service package, which included professional packing, loading, transportation, and unloading. The team arrived on time, equipped with all the necessary packing materials. They were professional, courteous, and handled my belongings with care. They packed everything efficiently, using high-quality materials to ensure nothing would be damaged during the move.
The transportation process was smooth, and the movers kept me updated on their progress. When they arrived at my new home, they unloaded everything with care and helped me set up my furniture. It’s going to be a bad experience
This Company I hired stole lied and manipulation is there name, my couch, medical equipment my entire kitchen 3 tables 1 washer 1 dryer arts and crafts totaling about $500.00 the couch I payed $799.00 clothes were thrown in a box totaling $1000.00 what they left in apartment boots and sandals about $2000.00 generators 1 brand new still in box I think I payed 4 or 5 hundred my mudroom table candle and all my wreaths custom made for me about $400.00 a homemade jewelry box estimate there isn’t one my deceased father made it for me. Puzzles and puzzle felt table Food all canned glasses dinner plates utensils I had to buy all these things a 2nd time I slept on an air mattress for 5 weeks to find out they left this as well I PAYED THEM $2700.00 for a 2nd load they never picked up and the contract was sent by e mail after the truck was unloaded after the 1st payment which I was told was the total amount due about $5800.00 I signed and transferred the funds to find out they wanted more money then a 3rd and the final was $2700.00 a total of $11,000.00 and my things were water damaged an entire box of sweaters were moldy. What everyone should know is every review left on there page ends with THE OWNER this owner went under and a lawsuit was filed under a 2nd Transporting Company and I have no reason to lie I’m trying to get the word out that the new reviews are office staff and a good owner an educated owner will usually leave the response to his Secretary or Billing dept they don’t end with thank you, THE OWNER he doesn’t leave his name because he has been ripping people off enough to go under with his 1st Company and now RENTS boxed trucks he has no large trucks and the one on his home page cut and paste the printing on the trailer it’s pathetic. The company wasn’t not joined by a team of friends because of all the theft and they poor behavior what your reading exactly 100% was ME .. it’s what they did to me I promise you have my word as I’m a truck driver of 37 years look at the pattern every review that’s 1 star they counter claim a good from the owner lolol. Please don’t get pulled in if I had a good experience why would I have the reason to tell everyone a bad experience. I reached out to BBB & Consumer Affairs that’s were you can see the lawsuit and every miserable experience of others I am please to say someone reached out to me so so so happy and I asked United for my $7000.00 back for a 2nd load they never picked up and all the damage they do not have a climate controlled warehouse and why would they the long haul drivers & company out here if your not able to fill the trailer a dispatch and team leaders at every company will tell you we’re having to pick up another load to fill the trailer once empty they reach out to you and gives you an approximate date once closer and it’s normal for it to be 2 to 3 weeks please don’t hire United Regions Vanlines. THE 2nd load was a money order I have all 3 receipts attached to the pictures of your driver sent to me money orders can be tracked they have a number just like a checking account and I put United Regions Vanlines on all 3 the pictures what came off the truck PHOTOS the PHOTOS from your driver your a poor liar and you make me sick I will continue to let everyone know everything I can !?! For years to come with every review I’m allow 1 per year so 5 every rear and the ATM withdrawal is for the same amount what I gave you which will go infront of a judge but you can’t or you would have liars are very voicing of the lie which is normal that’s what liars do and now I will leave this review your response and then the tail end, how many people will believe you this statement will make others run !? I promise !!

1st the quote given to me and final cost was $3000.00 more. 2nd the moving company they used to deliver my goods, from storage, damaged my furniture, alot of knicks and broken footboard. Finally we have boxes missing.

Mike and David were extremely efficient…
Mike and David were extremely efficient and professional but also very pleasant. They were very accommodating to a few requests I had. Most importantly they were able to move and arrange my possessions into an apartment that just should not have been able to fit the endless boxes! They also made sure no debris (like so much tape!) was left.

Do not hire United Regions!!!
Whatever you do, don't chose United Regions Van Lines. They are a nightmare and caused an immense amount of stress. They drop extra charges on you at the last minute. They added extra charges on us wherever they could for an unnecessary shuttle storage, etc. They ask you to pay the last deposit (thousands of dollars) in cash the day of arrival of the moving truck. There is "no option" to pay for this via a wire or credit card and they are very rude about this on the phone. Our boxes came extremely banged up and torn. Thankfully we had an air tag so we could track where our items were because they took so long to deliver and did not communicate. I needed a receipt for work for the cash payment and they ghosted me when I asked to send me the full receipt-- never got a response once they were all paid up! The only aspect of it was good were the movers themselves who were very efficient, polite and respectful. The customer service on the phone is terrible and they got into a yelling match with us then they hung up. One of our items of furniture got badly damaged but we decided we didn't even want to pick up the phone and deal with them. Terribly unprofessional. Do not hire!!!

I had a great experience with this moving company. The movers were incredibly professional, showing up on time and handling everything with care. I have several delicate pieces of furniture, and they took the time to wrap each one securely. They were also respectful of my home, making sure not to damage any walls or floors during the move. The team worked efficiently and finished the job ahead of schedule. I really appreciated how respectful and professional they were throughout the entire process. I’ll definitely be using them for my next move!

Original quote. They broke a king size bed frame, legs off of a desk and damaged a queen size bed frame, all beyond repair.
They said they would refund $60 for $600 of furniture.
They are the worst and I have moved across country before. It took 1 month to arrive from North Carolina to Albuquerque.

Extremely dissapointing experience…
We had a really unfortunate experience with United Regions Van Lines, and after reading other reviews, we believe this is consistent across customers and indicates bad business practices.
These were the main pain points:
1) vastly incorrect estimate: we did a video call and asked VERY detailed questions about all furniture and decor items. Regardless, we were given a quote with cubic footage that ended up being 40% shy of the final footage/price despite multiple assurance the quote was more than enough. This increased our bill by almost double, putting us in a challenging financial situation. Based on other reviews being similar, this is clearly a common practice for this company. This indicates either extreme incompetency or intentional misleading.
2) hidden fees: bulk items, fuel surcharge: we asked multiple times about the potential additional fees that could come up on moving day. Despite being assured there would be none, they tacked on hundreds of $ in "bulk item" fees on items that had been discussed in detail on both video and phone calls. In the 6 weeks between initial quotes and move, no party (including QA) mentioned these fees. Again, this indicates either incompetency or intentional misleading.
3) contracted items/service missing: mattress covers and TV boxes that were included in the contract were not available for our move
poor packing: besides the kitchen items, all other boxed items were thrown in together with no packing material or regard to fragile items and heavy items that ended up on top
4) damaged items: because of poor packing, there was damage to items. Even the generator and smoker (which we paid special handling fees for) were damaged.
5) damaged property: driveway was damaged by trucks on delivery due to poor parking
6) OSHA violations: PPE violations: no hand/body/foot or combination of these for all employees
7) dishonest contract process: multiple times throughout the process we were forced to sign contracts that included compliance of service before the service even took place (ex: signing delivery forms stating no issues or damages before the foreman allowed the trucks to be unloaded). This is a clear indicator of fraudulent practice.
8) poor communication and customer service: we brought issues to the reps right away. We were given the run-around and ping ponged among associates all claiming they couldn't help, yet did not allow us to talk to a manager or the sales team. They clearly had no intention of resolving our issues whatsoever. They also said they wouldn't authorize a delivery until we paid a bill that we were currently disputing. This indicates fraudulent business practice.
Considering our issues continue to not be resolved, and that these experiences are consistent with other customers, we believe this company has bad business practices and would not recommend working with this company.

I've used many moving companies before
I've used many moving companies before, but this one stands out. Their professional moving team handled everything with such care and precision. Every item was packed securely, and nothing was damaged. The crew was prompt, courteous, and extremely efficient. Will definitely use them again for any future moves!

Worst Move
They arrived late on the date requested, but they had called in and indicated that they were stuck in traffic and would be late, so that was OK. When the truck arrived it carried two men who spoke mainly Russian and wrote the inventory in Russian. They packed the few boxes as requested and loaded everything onto the truck, mainly pre-packed boxes filled with books. When I asked for a copy of the inventory before they left, they said no, one would be mailed to me, but it wasn't. I had arranged for storage until I arrived in Salt Lake City after Christmas when I would be out there, but I got a call on the day before Christmas Eve saying they would deliver the next day. I refused, saying I was only half-way there and couldn't be there. They said they would put it in storage and I requested that it be delived on the 29th December when I would be in Utah.
The 30th came and went with no delivery. When I called in asking for delivery I was told that whenever a truck reached Salt Lake that could be diverted, it would make my delivery. Calling every every other day achieved nothing, so finally at the end of January I contacted FMCSA, the Federal agency that licenses moving companies, and the man I talked to called them. He called me saying that my goods would be delivered the following day. Sure enough, I got a call that afternoon and the load was delivered the next day on February 2nd-- or at least most of it.
The end result was that three items were damaged, 14 boxes weere missing, and they had re-written the inventory in English with a different order.
So on 14 March 2024 I sent a letter (registed, return receipt requested) to request the appropriate form to claim a loss on my move. This was after a series of phone calls had elicited no response. Still no response.
On 23rd May I sent another letter (registed, return receipt requested) stating the loss since I had not received the form. I received both postcards back in the mail, but had no response from the company. The man from FMCSA recommends I go to small claims court to see what I can recover.

Pro's:
1) Mike and his delivery crew were OUTSTANDING! Mike really communicated well, especially explaining why we needed a shuttle when we didn't expect that! (He was right by the way!) This crew was on time and worked incredibly hard! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
2) Roman and his partner did an outstanding job wrapping and preparing our furniture for the move! These poor guys had to do a 12-hour round trip from Chicago for us and then, load all our stuff, having to go up and down 15 stairs with each trip! They communicated clearly and often! They never complained!
Cons -
1) Overall, communication from the company was poor (NOT the pick up or delivery guys!). We had to call every step of the way because they simply failed to communicate what was going on throughout the process. Our sales person, Phillip, gave us his personal phone line number, but he didn't return my phone calls or email requests after the sale. He returned my husband's one call. Quality Assurance usually had our answers we needed, but again, we called them multiple times. They didn't initiated calls.
2) The cost was higher than we expected because while we expected to have to pay for packing, we thought we were fine because we had packed everything ourselves. We didn't expect to have to pay $24 for each piece that was shrink wrapped, like our sofa and pier cabinets, or for every roll of tape used. We have done 2 other interstate moves with 2 other companies and have never had to pay extra for those things.
3) Make sure to get an estimate for a shuttle because we totally didn't think we'd need it because they could pull into the driveway. Well, we live in a townhome community, and the big truck would have blocked the streets and a couple of neighbors' driveways. For $1,526 we kept the neighbors happy, but it would have been helpful if Phillip would have explained what that cost could be and what kind of situations would warrant the need of a shuttle. Our driver, Mike, did give us the option not to pay for/use the shuttle, but he was right. We needed to use it. Fortunately, we had the extra money set aside.
The bottom line is when thinking about moving, have a healthy size contingency fund!
Read the Docusign before signing
Worst experience ever. Low balled estimate, brokered out the delivery to third party without notification, DAMAGED tons of furniture, purposely omitted extra insurance option and customer service is infuriating.
.60 cents on the lb isn’t worth making the claim and that’s what they bank on. If you own expensive furniture DO NOT use them! So many better companies out there. And READ the pdf before signing it.
