I tried, 6-months, Buyers Remorse :-/

My first issue was with the apple app. I had an IPhone with the correct version build that I was going to use but I couldn’t ever get that one to work so I ended up buying a new IPad to run the system. No biggie (I thought at the time), but this was an extra expense that I wasn’t anticipating.

The app took a bit to sort out (delayed use) but I got it working initially but then the suit battery wouldn’t fully charge (another delayed use) so I ended up buying a new set of batteries and external charger to make sure I had a good battery on hand at all times. These are common batteries so easy enough to find. I contacted the CSR and told them of my issue. No real resolution was provided other than them stating “yes, we’ve been also looking into external chargers as well.” I do think there is a manufacturing defect issue with their charging setup built into their unit. Not a deal breaker, I found a work around but I was starting to feel like this was going to be an ongoing theme with this suit and expressed concern with the CSR that I was starting to lose confidence in their manufacturing.

I was able to use it a few times initially but had some ongoing issues with the App and never really was able to get direct tech help. Customer support is slow and comes from them apparently having only one US based rep for the whole company that covers all aspects of the US operations (tech, fulfillment, etc.). The only tech “solutions” given were rudimentary suggestions and videos of how to plug in the charger (for example). Not very helpful. And several days can pass before you get a response, which isn’t useful when you have a calendar of set workouts you want to accomplish but you have to leave this piece of equipment on the side and unusable.

Likewise, on a couple of occasions I tried to reset PW to get around what was ultimately an apple update issue, however there was a 3-4 hour delay in getting the password reset email after initiating the process from within the app, so don’t anticipate a quick solution if you are locked out of the app standing in your suit expecting to accomplish your workout.

Finally, the design is very similar to a wetsuit. I have about 20+ years of triathlon experience and the process is easy enough - standard back pull zipper. The stitching at the bottom of the zipper, where you grab to hold to give tension to pull (also as detailed in their user instructions) - started popping apart after about my 7th time putting on the suit. I now have to take this out myself to have this fixed which will put me with about another week of non-use due to a manufacturing defect. They did offer to reimburse me for the expense. But that’s not the rub. I want to be able to use this suit when I need it vs. constant tech and repair issues. It’s like having an overpriced Italian sports car that drives great when it is running but is invariably always in the garage needing repair.

Other observations. I asked to speak with someone about a full refund but the CSR never replied. I also tried to confirm if this office was some sort of franchise affiliate of the main company - again no reply. In hindsight there is a deep lack of transparency in the company and who runs the operation with all inquiries flowing through a single point CSR who admits she’s only been with the company for 10 months. She seems frustrated as well.

After extensive digging around, I connected with the CEO of the company in a round-about way to try to resolve my issues. After an initial reply of “I can help” I have yet to hear back from him either.

So it appears that I’m stuck with a semi-reliable expensive piece of tech. Seems to work as described…when it works, which is again only about 30% of the time so far. The formula should be: put-on, turn-on, go! Perhaps I just received an outlier lemon? I don’t mind finding solutions and workarounds, but for the promise and price I don’t think I should have to.

I am sharing my review for those who are like me and do extensive research on gear before you buy. My advice would be to try another product. This seems like a company with great potential, but they have some manufacturing, staffing/customer service, and tech issues to work out. If you are time crunched and want a piece of equipment that you can rely on working when you need it - this is not the one.

Update: Wow. All argumentative replies from VB below are incorrect, dare I say lies. Facts matter.

- "Scam" was from an others review.
- You didn't solution the battery charger issue, I did - bought an external charger and extra batteries
- You didn't reimburse for the repair, because I haven't had it fixed yet
- I tracked down your CEO but aside from an acknowledgement, no solutions or assistance was provided.

Caveat Emptor.

The NEW way of training!!!

I’ve started training with EMS for a year now, with a trainer, and have fallen in love with it! 22 min of work, equivalent to 2hrs at the gym, was groundbreaking! When I found out I could get my own suit and use it in the comfort of my home, I was ECSTATIC!!! Well here we are!! And it has been worth every penny so far. Yes, I do think some of the app training mods could be a little more user friendly. But overall it has been a good experience, and will increasingly get better! Thank you Visionbody!

A Workout Hack That Actually Works

I rarely if ever write reviews, however I am a raving fan of the VisionBody EMS suit! It is my workout hack that actually works. As a business consultant, I’m on the road typically 2 to 5 days a week in a different city and hotel each night. Getting in late and getting up early makes it hard to be disciplined to go to the hotel gym and workout. But with the VisionBody suit, 15 to 25 minutes is all that is needed 2 or 3 days a week. And those 15 to 25 minutes are no joke.

I’m a former U.S. Marine and pushing myself physically when I was younger (and had time) was my hobby. Now that I’m older (a couple years over 50) I still like the idea of pushing myself, but when I’m tired and usually have a minimalistic gym at some random hotel, the reality of doing a hardcore workout isn’t realistic. That’s where the VisionBody suit comes in. The ability to determine what kind of workout I want (what kind of muscles - not only which muscle groups, but also fast twitch or slow twitch) and then setting up the workout on the VisionBody app on my phone means I can exercise and let the suit push me.

With the app you can pick your workout type, length and the intensity level for each muscle group (e.g. chest, glutes, biceps, etc.). I did a lot of research on different EMS suits prior to purchasing the VisionBody suit. One reviewer noted that they were fit but had never taken the intensity level past 40% (0%-100%). Of course being a Marine I figured they were some weekend warrior and I had concerns that I would soon max out the intensity level. Ha! I’ve had the suit for almost a year now and use it consistently. (Sometimes more dedicated than others to be truthful). But I’ve never gotten the intensity level past 43% and that was for my legs (quads, hams, and glutes). Pecs and arms (biceps and triceps) I can’t get above 25%. This suit is not a joke. And I get sore! I can do a simple walk and if I have the intensity level up high, my heart rate will be at the high end, just walking. Which means utilizing a hotel treadmill or elliptical machine actually becomes a really effect workout. Doing simple body weight exercises with the EMS suit becomes a high intensity workout that I’ll be feeling for the days.

And the results show. I get a lot of questions or comments about what I do to workout. My adult son tried my suit over the Christmas holidays and now really wants one for himself. I want to upgrade to VisionBody’s new suit, the one with the pads for the calves and shoulders, and I’ll then pass my current suit on to my son.

With so many products that are more hype than results, I am grateful to have found VisionBody and will use their suits for years to come!

Also: Am Anfang war ich nicht so begeistert und sah in den negativen Bewertungen hier eine Art Zustimmung zu meiner Haltung. Aber ich habe mich mit den Betreibern in Verbindung gesetzt und die haben mir bestens und sehr gezielt geholfen. Ich kann daher den negativen Bewertungen nicht zustimmen und auch absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Mittlerweile habe ich das Gerät über drei Jahre und selbst als ein von mir verursachter Defekt zutage kam, hat man mir einen sehr günstigen Ersatz geliefert und alles im Vorfeld vorinstalliert. Der Kontakt in Deutschland, welcher selber ein Ems Trainer ist, hat mir sehr geholfen und mich gut beraten. Ich bin noch immer maßlos begeistert von meinen Trainingseffekten und von dem Support, den ich von visionbody erhalten habe!

I had the best customer service experience

I had the best customer service experience in my process of receiving the full body suit EMS system. Haely from Visionbody (US) was always prompt, down to earth, always super helpful.
I really appreciated the way they handled any issues which popped up (i.e. queries, delays, etc).
I received my training suit, I will have to write another review regarding it's usage.
I do have one thing which I was NOT happy with. Such an expensive EMS training system does not accommodate for the Android market.
I have to buy an old iphone just so I can run the Visionbody app on, so I can start my training.

Love my Visionbody Suit!

I originally started out in an extra large Visionbody Suit and 14 months later, i can fit into a small Visionbody Suit! The Visionbody suit helped me with consistency in exercising. I love the tingling from the EMS and after 25 minutes in fatburning mode, I am soaking wet. Thanks for this awesome biohack that has helped me to decrease muscles loss during weight loss! Great product! I got an amazing offer from Henri, the owner. He was incredibly kind and helpful, guiding me through the setup, which was pretty straightforward. It’s a family business, and even though they’re busy, they made time for me ...almost two hours! The product is even more impressive when you see it in person than it appears online.

Vision Body Australia - Its been almost 3 weeks now, and I've not heard anything since they accepted the order and charged my card. Several emails to "darko" have not been answered. Tried the online message tool, and nothing back from this either. I finally called on Friday and spoke with someone who stated they would call me back with an update shortly. Still nothing. Now I'm seeing reviews that this is a scam company, and am likely out thousands of dollars. Will gladly update this review if someone from this company would actually respond to me. Was very excited to get started with this, as tried it in a fitness studio, but decided to invest in a home system instead... very disappointed.

Update: August 23rd, 2024
We received the suites from Vision Body USA on August 6th. Rather than write a lengthy review of the numerous, and unprofessional conversations had with the AU office, I'll summarize to share that our order was finally fulfilled by the US office. I would highly recommend you avoid using the AU operations out of NSW at all costs.
That being said.... the USA office has been wonderful. They fulfilled the order within 2 days, and we received it within 7 business days of it being shipped. They have communicated updates as I would expect from a company that has accepted and order. (shipping tracking that actually works, and follow up once the order was received) If you are seriously looking at this product, I would encourage you to use the US operations as your source. You will also find their offerings are significantly better. (Full leg suite as oppose to the short version so you can incorporate lower legs into your workout)

The suite itself it amazing. We purchased two, and have both been training with the system for two weeks now, and have to say it does EXACTLY what it says. It's a bit clunky at first trying to set up and use at the same time, but once you get past this learning curve, it is truly a great work out.
Given the product and the USA Operations, have adjusted the review to reflect their service... but buyer beware if you choose to order from AU.

Old wrestler loves Vision bodysuit

Representative at Vision body was really attentive to detail. I ordered the suit on Wednesday July 3rd and it showed up at my house on Friday July 12th and I was up and running by Monday July 15th. Would have had it going sooner but I was tied up with other things. Very helpful in the whole process. I would strongly recommend that you call Vision body in Jupiter Florida the girl I dealt with was Haley she did an outstanding job for me. I'm sure they have other capable people doing the same thing down there. I'm not saying that there's no other Vision body Outlets that are not capable I'm just sharing my experience that I had with Jupiter Florida. I will report back on the review after I've had it for a while and let you know what my experience is like.

I used this product recently in a wellness resort and saw instant results. The electrical pulse from the suit is absolutely not discomforting unlike other similar products that I tried in the past. Marcelo from the company was super helpful through the purchase I recently did and look forward benefitting from the suit
