Brilliant service ordered 2 vinyls received 2 days later

really rude and unhelpful staff, parcel was 12 days late and other was refunded despite being available when i ordered 12 days prior

What Records have always provided 1st class service and, despite the Royal Mail strikes, this latest order placed on 12th December was delivered 2 days later securely packaged.
The choice of titles is great and all at extremely reasonable prices.
I have have never been let down by Tim, who continues to provide excellent customer services.
Keep up the great work.

Updating my previous rating, my order arrived and very happy with it, shall be ordering more vinyl soon.

The long delivery time was due to the postal strikes, not a fault of What Records

A good selection of vinyl and got several on my wish list, however still waiting for my order, been waiting over a week now despite the item being dispatched and no tracking number supplied.

I have been buying from What Records for a five years now and they are excellent. I buy from here as they are one of the cheapest places to buy my records , cds and box sets. Recommend.

It's been over a year since I made this purchase!!!! I received the wrong product, I asked to exchange it and they informed me that they did not need to return the product and that they would forward the correct product. I'm still waiting for the product. order number 237252.

Five stars for very professional service, great communication, fast service, and most of all a wonderful merchandise.

I have placed 3 orders with What Records? and had 2 successful and 1 unsuccessful.

2 successful orders both were dispatched within 3 hours of placing the order and were at my door, we'll packaged in good quality mailers within 48 hours. One order was for a record that was extremely hard to find and at a great price! The other was a RSD record on sale, half the price. Brilliant.

The third order was for 3 records. Unfortunately I had to cancel as the items were not in stock. This is not unheard of for an online record store; one or two come to mind who will list items as in stock but actually have to order them in and turn out to be unavailable. Tim was great and while responses to emails aren't instantaneous, he's always got back to me within 24 hours. He happily cancelled and refunded my order without any issue.

I enquired about some other records which are hard to find elsewhere to see if they are in stock and, again, Tim responded within 24 hours with a list of what was in stock. I've taken to checking with all online record stores which items they have physically in stock to prevent the type of issues those who have given 1 star reviews here.

I'll certainly be using What Records? again as their prices are lower; just maybe check what you want is in stock before ordering.

Looks like quite personal service too as there is a contact number and quick response email.

Firstly lets deal with the elephant in the room , After placing an order on a vinyl album which was in stock and then reading all the bad reviews i started to panic and i was thinking What The ? have i done ordering from this company i was thinking it's not going to come it's going to take months I'm not getting a refund any day soon BUT just because some people have had a bad experience through one thing or another does not mean you will have the same issues , now I'm not saying that those people didn't have any problems it's just unfortunate that things can go wrong and if they can be sorted out amicably then no harm has been done anyway now to my review
I had been trying to find Now Yearbook 84 Translucent Blue Vinyl for a long time they were mostly on other websites at a premium price £90+ which i for one would never pay , I then came across What Records website stating that it was in stock and i couldn't believe my eyes it was only £24.99 so i ordered it straight away if i have one gripe it would be the £8 signed for postage price a bit steep but i opted for it to make sure i could trace the order , then the panic started i convinced myself i was going to have a bad experience how could i get the vinyl set at that price when no one else in the world had it apart from the parasites who rip you off , But low and behold 4 days later the album arrived as described and packed in the usual record mailer safe and sound ,So i have given four stars for the service that i have received and left off one star for the cost of the postage otherwise i would have given 5 stars

What records never fail to always make their mark!

I came across What Records while trying to find a vinyl which I wanted. Having read the reviews before ordering a record from this online retailer, I did notice the majority of the reviews were positive or neutral, however there were a lot of negatives. I did think this website looked like a scam as it was very similar to HMV, but my record arrived 2 days after ordering and it was packaged very well with no dents in the cover. Only the inner sleeves were slightly torn along the edges which could be from the vinyls shaking about inside. My LP’s play perfectly with no scratches so I am giving this review 5/5 thank you!

Ordered a vinyl box set. Came 24 hours later. Well packaged and cheaper than Amazon. Used What Records for many years and spot on every time.

Ordered vinyl from the record store Day collection. Arrived well packaged and in good time. Best price I could find.
