I have to admit , ive seen this site a few times and though hmm looks like a fake HMV . But fudge it I seen a vinyl thats out if print for 30 bucks, 60 bucks used on ebay , i thought fudge iti have paypal protection . The item was dispatched after about 2 days and arrived a day later sealed mint . Happy days . I will definetly use this site again

Delivery could be considered a little slow but prices are excellent and great customer service.

What records supply top quality vinyl at very competitive prices. Their service is excellent. Look out for their reduced sections where you can pick up really good bargains.

Searched for some quite rare LP and found it here with good discount. Despite of mostly low level reviews of this shop I've ordered this LP and order was shipped immediately on following day with tracking number. Delivery to Russia got about 1 month.
Package was quite poor (just 1 layer of cardbord on each side, without any bubble wrap or other safe packaging) and even opened but I think it was opened during customs check. Finally it came entirely sealed without any bends or cracks. That's why I've rated as 4* only.
Overall I'm satisfied with this shop service and can recommend this seller.

I've used whatrecord.co.uk a few times now, and I have found that their prices are so much better than well known competitors. What makes me go back is the service, I've never had to wait more than 24h to get a response and the responses I get are great, always looking to see how they can help. Admittedly, I can get records faster, but why would I when the large corporates only really care about the money, I feel these guys customer service is so much better.

What Records - top banana! Great records, great service, and great prices! What's not to like? Always get a prompt delivery, am kept informed and always answer any queries I might have. Items are very well packaged and arrive in perfect condition (issues here would be with the delivery company, not WR). I've been using WR for over 30 years (since the days of physical shops). Rarely buy my music anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I bought a very large boxset of records. I was delighted to receive them very quickly after the release date, very well packaged. My first purchase from What Records and I shall be buying from them again.

This company blatantly lies to you.
Ordered a LP on 6th Dec, they told me it was despatched on 07th(Lie).
After chasing them they sent me an email confirming it had been sent(another lie). It got to the 20th Dec still no delivery, even with royal Mail second class at Christmas time it should have arrived by now.
I suppose the only good thing was I asked for a refund and got one within a couple of hours. Obviously if it was out for delivery they would never have refunded me so quickly. I will never use again cant abide liers.

Fantastic service. Was looking for some hard to find vinyl and found it on their online store. Rang to ask some questions about this and another item and owner is a very knowledgeable man. Ended up ordering another item too.
Parcel arrived the next day fantastically wrapped.

I received my order today, packaging was very good, album was excellent, no damage anywhere perfect. Very fast turnaround. Whole experience was fantastic.

I have experienced what a lot of other people have mentioned. If they have what you want in stock – then great you'll get it. If they don't, they will tell you online that they have it... take your money... avoid your emails chasing them up as to where your items are... and supposedly make you wait until the day they (hopefully) get more stock in. I had been trying to get hold of hard to find items. I read the reviews and thought 'it looks risky, but give it a go'. I shouldn't have. I will now need to take the next external steps to get my money back. Trading standards need to investigate them.
