Misrepresented item

A bucket planter was sent to me it was different dimensions to those stated on the website ( the packaging was incredibly oversized, wasteful and inconvenient) I have made 2 phone calls and sent 2 emails so far…time consuming! Latest, they want me to print a label to return the incorrect item. I don’t think this company understand the fundamental principles of customer service and certainly do not understand the inconvenience I have been caused by ordering what I thought was a simple product, I wish I hadn’t bothered and wont be using them again

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. Receiving an item that doesn’t match the dimensions stated on our website is frustrating enough, and we completely understand how disappointing it must have been to then spend additional time arranging the return.

We also appreciate your comments about the packaging and the inconvenience caused. Asking customers to print a returns label is a standard part of the returns process for many businesses, particularly smaller independent brands that may not have the same collection systems in place as larger corporate retailers. That said, we do understand that this added another step to an already frustrating situation, and we’re sorry the overall process wasn’t more straightforward for you.

We can see that a refund has now been issued and that the return is in place. We hope this brings the matter to a close, and we’re grateful that you took the time to share your feedback with us.

Susie Gazebo

The Susie Gazebo is a premium price product. It arrived with some of the ironwork loose because the welding had broken. Someone had tried to patch it up, but that hadn’t worked. After spending lots of my time with photos, emails, and even a call with the owner over the last 2 months, I haven’t received any help with the problem. It has also started to rust - I have since been advised that this is normal- but you should be aware of this before you buy it, especially as you sit in it. Feeling disappointed.

We’re very sorry to read this and completely understand your disappointment. You should not have received the Suzie Gazebo with damaged ironwork, nor should you have had to spend so much time chasing a resolution. We sincerely apologise for this.

We’re also sorry that the natural weathering of the ironwork wasn’t made clearer from the outset. While some rusting and patination is expected with outdoor use, we appreciate that this is something customers should understand before purchasing.

Most importantly, the length of time this has taken is not the level of service we aim to provide. We’d very much like the opportunity to put this right and resolve the issue properly with you.

Composter obelisk

I purchased a beautiful composter obelisk with Wilstone.com November 2025. I was worried it wouldn't arrive before a trip away and contacted customer service who were excellent and kept me informed of delivery. On arrival unfortunately there was a little bit of damage to the top of the obelisk. I did not need to worry as another one was dispatched and sent to me once I returned from my trip. It was beautifully and securely packaged. We also came to an agreement on the damaged one. The customer service at Wilstone is excellent. Definitely 5 star.
