I've been a huge fan of this company since it started and have quite a few of their excellent shirts. I have returned an item and it was received by them at end June. I've tried to phone them now several times and never an answer, and even tried to call a couple of stores to see if they answer - but no. I would just like a more speedy turn around of the refund once they receive it. Ordered another item with them yesterday but honestly think it may well be the last. Very disappointed that the logistics and admin are spoiling excellent products.

I returned some trousers on the 15th June and they were delivered to With Nothing Underneath on the 17th June. It is now 10 working days later and I still haven't received an update on receiving a refund, despite having chased and being told 4 days ago that my refund would be expedited. I'm surprised that these processes can take so long and won't be ordering again from WNU.

My order was delivered later than expected. I was on holiday and then had a work trip. By the time I got back, the 14-day return policy was expired. How does a “premium” brand have a 14-day return policy? I wrote to customer service and it took 3 days for a response. The shirts simply don’t fit my body type (you need really skinny arms - regular arms or anyone who works out won’t fit unless you size up and then it looks bad). The customer service did not even read my email, did not answer any of my response, and just sent back their boiler plate reply. For €150 / shirt, I’m quite shocked by this. It’s still less than 30 days. It was 21 days when I first reached out to customer service, but I’m sure it will be well past 30 days if they reply to me properly with a personalized response.

FYI - customer service responded to my review on here before they've replied to my email. So that shows their priorities for the brand.

Update: I have tried to post a negative review on their website but it only allows posting of 5* reviews. I am quickly losing faith in this company and will be reaching out to my bank to resolve the unpaid refund.

The clothes are excellent quality and look great. For general enquiries, I've received prompt and helpful responses. However, my experience with the returns process has been disappointing. Emails sent regarding a refund have gone unanswered, despite several follow-ups.

I had hoped to become a regular customer of WNU, but the lack of communication and delays in resolving a straightforward refund have significantly undermined my confidence in the brand. While the product quality is excellent, the after-sales service has left me reluctant to make future purchases.

I had such a lovely experience with Nothing Underneath’s Marylebone store.

I needed to exchange a dress for a different size and Katie and Eliza were an absolute delight to deal with. They kindly helped arrange everything over WhatsApp and made the whole process so easy, warm and efficient.

My husband went into the store to exchange it for me as I wasn’t in London, and even he commented on how impressive and lovely the team were.

The service felt genuinely thoughtful, personal and polished, which I think is so rare nowadays. I already love the Nothing Underneath product and brand, but this experience has made me even more loyal.

I first went into your Elizabeth St. shop last year and bought 2 cotton shirts which fitted me perfectly. I like them long and as I am about to go away on holiday I wanted to buy some of your seersucker which are ideal for hot weather. Your staff were lovely and I know the area well as I used to work around the corner many years ago.

Jane was wonderful. So polite, attentive and she had really great suggestions when it came to sizing.

Read this before you order — especially if you’re buying for the first time.

I spent £450 on items that came up significantly larger than standard sizing — no warning on their website, no size guide that reflects reality. When I tried to return them, I was told I’d missed their 14-day returns window by just four days. For context, most retailers offer 28–30 days as standard; 14 days is unusually short and makes it very easy to fall foul of, particularly when items need to be tried, assessed, and posted back.
Despite explaining that the sizing issue was their fault — not mine — they refused a refund and offered a gift card instead. A gift card I can never use, because their non-standard sizing means I can’t safely buy from them again without the same problem repeating.
The customer service was dismissive and showed no goodwill whatsoever. £450 is a significant sum to lose to a policy designed to work against the customer rather than with them.

Shop elsewhere if you value your money and your time.

Really nice Company to deal with - you feel the benefit of personal service and they are quick to respond.

I received the order in 1-2 days and the Classic Shirt is beautiful, the colour is perfect, a very deep khaki pine colour that really suits an olive skin tone, and the fabric is excellent quality; it feels silky and is very breathable - perfect for a job interview. I wear it to dress smart/casually too and feel fabulous in it! It is exactly what I was looking for.

There was a problem with delivery (Royal Mail/Parcel Force responsible), but the WNU staff couldn't have been more helpful in sorting it out.

They don’t accept international return orders, which was not clear prior to purchase.

Popped into the Elizabeth Street store to buy the crease-free ‘The Boyfriend’ shirt. The fun and friendly staff were so helpful and encouraging. We laughed a lot too! It was a lovely, relaxed shopping experience. I’ll definitely be back! Meanwhile, off to parade my fabulous new WNU shirt around Florence and Sicily!!

I have several beautiful items from WNU, mainly bought online although I have visited the Elizabeth Street store where staff were delightful and am looking forward to seeing the Marylebone shop.
Today my queries about returning an item were swiftly and politely handled by Tessa and the replacement I've ordered is already on the way! Excellent all round.

I have long been a loyal costumer of the brand, now counting 9 shirts and a coat :-). I always receive compliments when wearing a WNU shirt.

Living in Denmark I have only recently been able to visit the stores while being on a vacation in London.

And it was such a lovely experience!

First in Belgravia, where Emelie was such a delight and really competent in terms of assisting with choosing between the fabrics, models and styling.

Secondly in Marylebone, equally a lovely visit, where Chloe was so sweet, competent and helpful.

I look forward to see what the future holds for this brand :-)
