I’d have to give 5 stars so far!

I’d have to give 5 stars so far! Our little staffy puppy had experienced digestive issues for weeks and this only fully resolved when I switched her from the vet recommended specialist gastro food to Wolfworthy oily fish.

Initially her problems were diagnosed as a small growth of campylobacter (she was on raw food when she came to us and it is suspected this caused her diarrhoea). We had already transitioned her to a good quality cold pressed food but the vet asked us to use a specialist gastro food instead which did help with toilet frequency. However, she then started having blood in her poop even though she was going to the toilet less.

I started to wonder if she had some kind of sensitivity causing irritation in her digestive system and so did the vet. They said the next move was to change to the specialist hypoallergenic food which really had nothing good in it at all and I didn’t like the idea of that.

Instead, I made the change to Wolfworthy oily fish to eliminate grains again and also chicken and immediately there was no blood in her poo. It’s like magic fairy dust in her food bowl.

The more I fed her during the transition, the better things became. And she LOVES her food. I’ve now been able to give her a few of the dried rabbit treats and that’s been fine too.

I’m apprehensive, but will try her with a sample of countryside flavour at some point as the poultry in it is turkey rather than chicken.

We would love to see another poultry free flavour in the range though if possible so dogs with sensitivities can enjoy a change of flavour. It seems like there are lots of other protein sources that could be used.

Customer service and delivery has been fantastic so far. We’ve subscribed now after she scoffed the initial sample and first bag of food.

Extremely poor service

The food is fantastic, the customer service is non existent.
I placed a subscription order, and within an hour realised that I had made a mistake.
I called 15 times on the urgent number (at 4pm -office closes at 5pm) but could not reach anyone.
I left an email, and a Facebook message to switch the food before shipping.
After absolutely no joy speaking to anyone, miraculously they had managed to channel their efforts into ignoring me and shipping said food, as I was informed on an email at 5pm.
This feels like a nice ploy to force a £7 return fee, and a bit of goodwill wouldn’t have gone a miss.

Thank you for your feedback - we’re really sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent experience. We completely understand how frustrating it can be to realise there’s been a mistake on an order and not be able to reach us straight away.

We are a small team and were helping another customer at the time you called but our team replied to both your Facebook message and email within around 40 minutes, but by that time the order had already been processed and we were unable to make any changes.

We always try to get orders ready as soon as possible, especially on Fridays, so they can leave us the same day and reach customers promptly on Monday. In this case, the order was already in progress when your messages arrived.

We’re a small team and sometimes calls come through while we’re assisting other customers, but we always aim to respond to messages as quickly as possible. The £7 return fee simply covers the courier’s cost - we don’t make any profit from it.

We’re glad to hear that your dog enjoys the food, and we’re sorry we weren’t able to catch the order in time on this occasion. Your feedback is appreciated and helps us improve how we communicate during busy periods.

The customer service is second to none

The customer service is second to none, I was feeding my dog the original, but unfortunately she has now got an allergy to chicken, I got in touch with Wolfworthy and asked if I could change to the Oily feed. I had only had a new delivery of the Original but they took it back to exchange for the Oily one. Can't praise this company enough, I would give 10 stars if I could. My dog loves the food, she is fed half raw and half Wolfworthy, I would love to change her over to Wolfworthy completely but not sure if just feeding her solely on Oily would be OK.

Cost and size of sample packs

Ordered the 3 different samples, all 3 together are not a meal size and costing £6 it's a rip off.

Thank you for your feedback. Our 60g samples are designed as taste tests so dogs can try the food before buying a larger bag. We do make it clear that they are not meal-sized. For customers looking for a longer trial, we recommend our 1.5kg one-off bag.

Do not order from this company I waited…

Do not order from this company I waited for my package to arrive but never had a message to say a delivery date to receive it.then after two weeks they send a message to say would I give a review about the dog food (which was never received ) I have sent numerous emails saying that but all they do is ignore me and just keep asking me for a review. I'm so glad I only ordered the samples and not a full bag what a scam

We’re sorry to hear your samples hadn’t arrived. Your order was processed on 25th September, but unfortunately it looks like Royal Mail lost the package. As soon as you let us know on 13th September, we arranged for replacements to be sent straight out, and these are now on their way to you.

We always aim to resolve any issues quickly, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused by the missing delivery. While delays like this are rare, if an order ever goes astray we will always put it right immediately.

Sorry not for me

Sorry not for me, after reading all the hype , gave it a try but my dog started scratching his ears biting his paws and developed stinky breath , after a short time of being on this food , it is not fresh it is a kibble whatever you may like to call it, have thrown the rest of the bag in the bin , and is now back on Natures Menu Country Hunter wet food and his scratching and biting have improved dramatically after a short time , so not for me i am afraid the Natures Menu is a single source protein dog food which suits a lot of dogs . Sorry but not for my Teddy

Great quality

My puppy has enjoyed your samples and we will be transitioning. He's a rescue and although we were told he is fine on the food he had with the rescue, unfortunately we found him to be grain intolerant. He is fine on the food we have switched him too and we do trust the brand but we wanted to find a kibble more nutritionally complete. Wolfworthy fits the bill. I like your three flavours option, means we can rotate flavours for variety for him. Price we find competitive for an all life stage food of this quality. Sample bags are great and we look forward to the transition journey. Thanks

Great alternative to raw

We fed exclusively raw for a long while but more recently, got fed up of long delivery times and lack of stock locally.

We had combination fed with Wolfworthy as it is handy to have in the cupboard as a backup.

We’ve now decided to switch to Wolfworthy full time (with raw treats) as it seems to satisfy them more than the complete raw we were feeding them. Their poo’s are a bit bigger, but still firm and easy to pick up.

Delivery is very speedy which is a bonus if you suddenly find you are running low.

I love the recyclable packaging which is another benefit from switching from complete raw, as it generated a lot of plastic waste from the containers.

I’d definitely recommend.

CHECKOUT BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT OF WOLFWORTHY BEFORE ORDERING SAVE YOURSELF £7 WISH I DID

I ordered Sunday afternoon 1 bag of the original
Later looked at the reviews noticed 20% is a bad reviews
So sent message to cancel next thing get message from DPD saying package dispatched overnight Sunday night which is hard to believe
Called them spoke to an assistant she told me charge £7 cancellation fee
So before order from wolfworthy
Check out the bad reviews first wish I did would of saved £7
I would like to add the wolfworthy dog food is probably OK
But my complaint is about management the way there organised
There need to get there act together
If you have a look at the bad reviews it's mainly about the management not the quality of the dog food

Thanks for your review. I’m really sorry to hear you had second thoughts after placing your order — we completely understand that sometimes people change their minds.

We dispatch orders quickly (often same day) because most customers really appreciate fast delivery. In this case, your order had already left our fulfilment centre by the time we received your cancellation request, so we recommended refusing delivery so the parcel could come straight back to us. I’m glad to see our team has already processed your refund.

We simply deducted the £7 courier return cost, which we never profit from — it’s just to cover the fee we’re charged for returns. If there’s ever a problem with a product, or if we’ve made a mistake, we of course cover the cost of returns in full.

We’re proud to have thousands of 5-star reviews from happy customers — not only because of the quality of our food, but also because of how we handle situations like this: fairly, honestly, and with kindness.

Excellent service

Website so easy to navigate. The product information is great. I placed an order on the Wednesday before 12noon and it was delivered on the Thursday - Excellent. My dog loves the raw food and I have tried afew. Would definitely recommend this company.

Very happy

I am very happy. My Boston terrier x king charles spaniel is a very fussy eater. She wasn't too fond of wolfworthy original but she absolutely loves the fish version. She cleans her bowl every time which is a first. I like that the food is grain free, it's much easier on her little tummy. Wolfworthy also offers samples to find out if your dog likes the food. This was very helpful and saved me money. If I had to buy a bigger bag of the original, it would have gone to waste. Since switching, my dogs breath smells better, her poos are healthy and her coat is soft and shiny.

Really nice dog field

Really nice dog field with loads of equipment, a shelter, gravel path to walk around, beautiful view, very private away from main roads, poo bin and water available

Have been to a few dog fields and this is the best we have been to
