They could not even stay in the so called 4 * hotel as it was disgusting !!!!! had to leave the show early to go home and pay extra for taxis and trains !!!!!
NO HELP WHAT SO EVER - complaint raised AND IGNORED
The list is as follows:
* Stained carpet in several places
* Broken curtain rail
* Stained curtains
* Stained desk chair
* Threadbare and torn armchair – pillowcase left on top to try and hide it
* Stained and dirty headboard
* Threadbare bed divan
* Cracked pane of glass in window
* Completely rotten window frame
* Portable dirty air conditioning unit with hose passing through window – unable to close window
* Damaged wall in bathroom to side of sink
* Old and stained fittings in bathroom
* Peeling and flaking paint on wardrobes
* Peeling and flaking paint on bath panel
* Broken blind also unable to be closed as didn’t work
* Damage to walls in bedroom
* Dirty vent left on top of drawers
* Wi-Fi not working
* Bad decoration – items removed from walls and not repaired
* No facilities in room – no hairdryer etc as listed in website

I am currently sitting in the hotel bedroom.
I feel that I need to ask do you ever vet these hotels? If not then you should.
I am at quite a loss as to explain the dilapidated state of this hotel. I feel like I am in Fawlty Towers circa 1970. I cannot begin to explain to you the state of this room.
I really do not want to spend the night here but I have no choice. Despite the fact that it makes my skin crawl.

Cranley Hotel - NOT 4 star.... Maybe 1 at a push
We booked this hotel through Wowcher. This was sold as a theatre/london hotel experience. This hotel is supposed to be a four star hotel! WOW is definitely the word. The images are self explanatory I wouldn't say this was even a one star. The air conditioned room was actually an air con unit put onto some piece of dicrepit piece of other furniture, which had no place in the room. Bathroom wasn't cleaned rubbish still in the bins. This was Room 404. other people's room, the lock didn't work. the lift as we were on the 4th floor had dirty sheets on the floor - just disgusting with a smell of damp when you went into the hotel, such a shame as I imagine a very long time ago this beautiful building would have been amazing. Surely if the state of the bed, furniture, fridge, bathroom is so bad either remove/renew the furniture or close the room off! I can't believe that Wowcher want to be associated with this type of "hotel"! Also around 30 mins by taxi to central london, where the theatre booking was.

Great experience at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
My son and I have just returned from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. I was somewhat apprehensive, given the poor reviews I had read. Fortunately, after some initial issues regarding info about hotel, flights andctransfers, for us the worries were unfounded.
Transfers from Dubai Airport to our Abu Dhabi Hotel were seamless. The hotel was excellent quality and situated near the motorway, making the journey to the track easy. Taxis virtually on tap at the hotel, so no long wait. Our seats at the track were very good, giving excellent views. We also did not leave until early Tuesday morning, giving us a day to relax in Abu Dhabi.
If we can afford another sports trip in the future, I would have no hesitation in using Worldchoice Sports again.

Book yourself…not through WCS
We decided to book to go see F1 at Silverstone and we booked it through Hays Travel who booked through World Choice Sports. The event was great, however our seats were separated, 2 of us were sat in one stand and 2 of us in another. We all booked together as a 4, we don’t expect to be separated. When we got to our seats and there was no physical seat there. Customer services at Silverstone told us we should have been emailed new tickets which we never received. We were very disappointed as we missed a part of the parade we wanted to see. After talking to World Choice Sports they only apologised but felt like it wasn’t a sincere apology more like a ‘sorry but it’s not our fault’. World Choice Sports claim they never received an email which I do not believe as the organisers proved to us the email had been sent. Will not be booking through them again and will be booking it all myself.
EDIT: as you can see from their response it’s still the same ‘it’s not our fault’. Still not taking responsibility for changing our seats and splitting my group up.

Can only echo the other reviews following the Champions league fiasco. I was told myself and my son were not on the flight as we checked in so we booked alternatives at £600. Was then told we were on the flight an hour later and ended up losing the money on the alternative flights. £600 wasted and nobody at this company willing to discuss or offer any compensation
Do not use under any circumstances
I also traveling to Paris for the CL final
Outbound - flight 3 hours later
Accomodation had no record of our booking
Inbound - advised at midnight that the flight had been brought forward from 16.00 to 8.00 and we had to be in the airport at 5.30
This company has absolutely no customer care and will take no responsibility and will leave you to sort out any issues yourself

Booked with these to go to Paris for champions league final.. Got a text night before flight to say flight times had changed and new flight numbers were received. Got to airport to carnage, nobody knew that their flight had either been cancelled or changed. Nobody at the airport to help with matters apart from one person called Graham who himself didn't know what was going on and didn't do anything to help anyone other than right names down for a refund. They came up with a list and said if you were on the list you were on the flight, the list was wrong so we went to check in and were refused because we weren't on the "list". Hundreds of people let down at 4am in the morning on the day we were meant to go. Nothing at all from the company not even an apology. No other flights or routes available, so people who had tickets for the game had to go back home. The people who did manage to get on a flight were guided by the airport staff (NO HELP FROM WORLD CHOICE). That flight was meant to be 4am, then 5.40am..it didn't take off until 10.45am so delayed for over 5 hours (we arrive at 2am at the airport). So we were stuck for 9 hours in the airport and obviously world choice sports are now refusing compensation. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL TIMES IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Upon arrival at the airport we were…
Upon arrival at the airport we were greeted by what I can only describe as utter chaos.
The only World choice representative was standing on a stairway inside the airport reading out names from a list, we heard our name read out & were told to go and wait by the Greg's bakery.
We waited there will other travellers not knowing why we were there or what was happening.
After I'd say about 30/45 mins there was a tanoy announcement saying flight No FPO825 to go to the check out desk, after a further 30/45 mins we reached the check out desk only to be told that we were not on any system to fly, after explaining that we had had our names called out & be told by tanoy to come to this check out desk we were advised then by the guy on the check in to speak the the solitary world choice rep.
By the time we got to the area where the world choice rep had set himself up along with a member of Liverpool Airport staff, this was again a scene of utter chaos, when we finally got to speak the the rep we were told that we weren't now on any list to fly, we then checked the the member of airport staff who told us there had been an updated list & now we should go back to the check in desk, again after queueing for another 30 mins we were again told by the check in that we were still not on any flight out system & we weren't going to be flying anywhere.
We returned to the world choice rep to try to find out exactly what was going on & why we'd been cancelled, the rep had moved away from this area & was now checking people off on a further updated list,
I noticed on a table in this area flight manifest lists that had been left lying round, these lists continued passengers details inc DOB & passport numbers, I took one of these lists (Don't know what happened to the others) to the World choice rep who told me that I shouldn't have that list, to which I told him that there was a number of them left on a table & did he realise there was a blatant Data protection violation that needed to be reported & people on the list made aware.
By the time we had been finally told we were not going to fly we were left with no opportunity to find any alternative flights from either Liverpool or Manchester airports as there were no flights now available, leaving us with 2 x €490 match tickets that we were unable to use or sell on at such a late stage

Flight cancelled with no communication, utter shambles.. Nobody available at the airport to give you information.
We eventually got on a flight thanks to a guy @ JL airport.
No response from their emergeny contact email, eventually I get through to them and advised that they had then put us on a 2.30 flight that it was impossible to get to as we were in a hotel in Paris for the night.
It might have been out of their control, but tell people as soon as you know, don't ignore them.
Plane they had booked could not fly in British air space !!!

Pensioner left stranded, Do not use.
Left stranded, Do not use this company. Cancellation Email came through only hours before flight arranged home from Paris. The company said it was for reasons out of their control and they had text people 2 days before to let them know, NO THEY DIDN’T and they left a pensioner stranded at the airport in Paris struggling to find a way to get home.This company should be ashamed of itself, all they have done is said a meaningless ‘sorry’ and offered a refund, they shouldn’t be in the travel business.

After the debacle of Kiev in 2018, cancelled flights 48 hours before kick off . They managed to surpass themselves. Turned up at the airport at 2 am looking forward to my flight to Paris for CL final, 300 people all confused as the flight wasn’t on the board .. nobody there from the cowboy form to explain, took a member of JL airport staff to tell us the flight was cancelled, people crying with kids . It was called an inconvenience by the firm afterwards, really Graham that’s all this is mate . You and your company are an absolute criminal business, . Everyone don’t use this firm again. Believe me cowboy company there was nobody there for the first two hours when I got to the airport,. Flight should’ve been 4 am. Nobody turned up until after that time. I was told by an old man called Graham who wouldn’t look at anyone in the eye that we could still book alternative flights , yes maybe so but where was the money to pay for it, you wasn’t paying it , we had to after paying you confidence tricksters 650 pound, already. Whoever reads this please don’t use his so called travel company. Worst experience of my life twice for two separate matches .

Last minute cancellation
Booked to fly to Paris for Champions League final. Arrived at airport but flight cancelled. No explanation, no chance of an alternative. They screwed up Kiev and now Paris. DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS
Response 4 days later blamed Covid / world situation etc etc... Happy enough to take the money though.... None of these issues were around when they messed up Kiev. How unlucky can a tour operator get ?

We had great time in Paris. Our hotels were very comfortable and the match tickets were with great view. Communication from Sharon was excellent from start to finish of my journey with her. I will definitely come back and book again with her.

Great weekend
After seeing an advert for the company online, we decided to book with Worldchoice Sports for the 6 Nations match of Italy v England in February 2022. We were given various options for the hotel and tickets and for upgrades if we wanted. We chose to upgrade the hotel to Hotel Londra & Cargill and also our match tickets to the Tribuna Teverra section of the stadium so as to be at the side of the pitch. We were told that unfortunately we would not know which section of the stand or the row and seats until the tickets are issued to them but we were pleasantly surprised - the tickets we got were really goods seats with a pretty good view of the try line!
The hotel was really nice and the staff were brilliant - would definately use it again.
We had a couple of issues with the booking before we went but the staff at Worldchoice were great and got everything sorted for us within an hour of contacting them. Would definitely use them again.

Booked sports package to Italy v…
Booked sports package to Italy v England. Our flight voucher had the wrong airport terminal so we had booked parking and lounge passes a long walk from the actual check in desk. No responsibility from WC, was told they only found out late the day before which was incorrect as we spoke to others who had booked same package and their paperwork correct.
Charter Plane very old and very little options of refreshments. We had never been to overseas sports match so thought better to book with a company but don’t think we would do again. In hindsight we could have put the package together ourselves a lot cheaper and had better service.
Great Value Package. No Problems or Hitches
Booked direct with World choice sports For Italy v England in the 6 Nations Rugby February 2022. Chose the Hotel Laura as my Hotel and I upgraded my match tickets to the Tribuna Teverra section of the stadium so as to be at the side of the pitch rather than behind the goals. Was told in the small print that which section of that stand we would get cannot be confirmed at time of booking until tickets are issued to them. Received our hotel voucher and match tickets a few weeks before travel. Tickets obviously in Italian but after a little translating realised we were only 6 rows from the front. Imagine our surprise when we walked into the stadium to find the first 5 rows weren't being used and that we were so close to the half way line. Basically we were the Front Row. No problems with the Hotel, they were expecting us and the reception was 24 hours and English speaking. We booked flights independently as we stayed on an extra day as flights were half the price travelling home on a Tuesday. I just booked an extra night at the same Hotel. Rome is an Amazing City and the whole booking went smoothly and with no hitches. Great Value Package and would definitely use World Choice Sports again.
