Michael was extremely helpful and professional. I made a mistake on my original order and he went above and beyond to take care of my order.

Do not purchase from this company. I was sold a grey-market Asian Sony camera and paid what I would have paid from Sony America but now have zero warranty or rebate eligibility. I was never told it was the international model and I can't get them to respond despite me being in the return window. They also try and upsell you on crap accessories and make it seem like a deal. None of it is worth the money or hassle. Do not buy.

Easy in easy out!

Easy to navigate website and great prices.

I had a really poor experience with Abe’s of Maine and would not recommend buying from them. It felt like they were using bait-and-switch tactics. I ordered a camera body online, but soon after, I received an email asking me to call to “confirm” my order — which defeats the whole point of ordering online.

When I called, the representative was hard to understand, mumbled a lot, and immediately began trying to upsell me on other products. It quickly became clear that the item listed online was likely a grey-market (non-warranty) version, even though this was not made obvious on the website. When I said I wanted to cancel, the salesperson suddenly offered to sell me the version I thought I was ordering — but for $100 more.

Strangely, I couldn’t even find that “non-import” version listed anywhere on their website, so I have no idea how they supposedly had it “in stock.” The entire experience felt deceptive and manipulative, and the customer service was unhelpful and pushy.

⚠️ Bottom line: If you value transparent pricing, clear communication, and legitimate products, stay away from this site.

Ordered twice and both times they canceled my orders because the products were not in stock. Very unprofessional.

Excellent search and research of options on site to determine best match for our needs. We have multiple international trips planned for 2027 and beyond and need the best camera equipment and accessories to capture every spectacular moment.
