Good price, easy to order but limited payment options.

First time purchasing from Abes of Maine. Not only were they quick and efficient but very considerate. I received a call from Ted and he wanted to ensure that I was making the purchase before authorizing the my payment. Very friendly and helpful, definitely great customer service. We casually talked for a bit after making the purchase about cameras and just casual conversation which I found cool. You don't get that too often I feel. All in all, would definitely purchase here again! Thanks again for your help Ted!

They were really nice. After I ordered an expensive camera, they called and told me that they are not an authorized retailer of Nikon and that they import from the factory and sell it. And they offered 3-year insurance for half price. They were very open about the transaction. But I cancelled it anyway, which they did promptly. I will be very comfortable buying from them for any future needs

Amazing salesman very helpful with everything

I really appreciated Michaels help with an item that was not shipped with my original order. Michael was very professional and made it easy to receive a replacement for the item. It was my first transaction with Abes of Maine and the next time I need camera equipment, they will be my first stop.

I just bought my third Sony lens from Michael at Abes of Maine. They are fair, very easy to work with, and I plan on purchasing future camera equipment from them.

Ordered a new sigma lens as a Christmas gift for my wife yesterday and Michael called to confirm the purchase. He went way above and beyond and did what he can to try to get the lens to me by Wednesday in time for Christmas. He sold me the retail model instead of the import. But he did more than make the sale, he earned a new customer for Abe’s of Maine. I purchase camera gear for my wife who is a photographer and I buy from different sources, but after my experience today with Michael’s help and customer service I will definitely be coming back to Abe’s of Maine. He deserves a raise and the trip to Orlando, I hope he gets it!

Absolutely fantastic service today. Michael was incredibly responsive, helpful and upbeat. I had made a mistake in my shipping and he was able to guide me through everything. He fixed my problems and I couldn’t be happier.
