I placed an online order 6/29. Received shipping notice 6/30. On 7/16 I checked the tracking. It said UPS was still not in possession of the package. I then called customer support who said they were going to issue a refund. A little while later I receive an email with a refund credit of $0.00. Called back, got put on hold and hung up on a few times. Once I finally got someone to speak with they tried telling me my credit card was never charged because I didn't receive the order. Which is entirely untrue. They charge your card once the items ship. Then, again, I got hung up on. Filed a dispute with my credit card company for the refund. Literal thieves.

I placed an online order yesterday for delivery to my address. I live in Florida. Today I got an email stating my merchandise was sent to a store in Nashville TN & I'm supposed to pick it up ASAP. ?? I called customer service 3xs & spoke to 3 different individuals, only 1 of which was actually helpful & corrected the error with a simple email to the TN store asking them to ship it to me. The other 2 told me too bad so sad, let it stay there & it'll be cancelled. I want the shirt, that's why I ordered it! So no, don't cancel it, how about making it right & doing your customer a courtesy & have it shipped to me, at the right address, in the right state?? I had to call the store in TN & the store manager was very rude about it, told me "I received an email from customer service instructing me what to do" I'm like, ok what are we doing then? He says, very rudely, "It will be shipped to you" ok...who's shipping it? The store in TN or Aero online? I will edit this review if/when I receive all 3 items that I was charged for. I'll be pursuing a refund if I don't receive it within 2 wks. & I'll never buy anything from Aero online or in store ever again! The customer service is lacking, to say the least.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Was told my friend and I couldn’t be in the same fitting room, which is fine, but they started rushing us and ultimately it ended with me feeling like I could not take my time and I bought the wrong clothes that were really expensive and the clothes that we’re supposed to be on sale we’re not the same price at the cash register. One of the workers in particular were very rude and had an attitude stating it’s not that hard when we tried try to organize the clothes we would and wouldn’t get.
Order never fulfilled
I placed an order on Aeropostale.com on 12/31/24. I received confirmation of my order and then nothing! Contacted the company via their business chat on Instagram 1/12/25. No response. Used the chat feature on their website today only to be told this: “Upon reviewing your order, we regret to inform you that your order was cancelled due to item out of stock. You have not been charged for the canceled order, as we do not process payment until the order is shipped. Any authorization hold back to your account.” At no time was I informed of this until I tried to find out the status of my order 2 weeks after it was placed. Very poor customer service. I will not trust/order from this company again.
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
This company does not stand by its product, not cheap but cheaply made.
All I wanted was them to offer my granddaughter something for receiving a defective pair of sweats for Christmas a t shirt . Very disappointed no customer service , wouldn't be buying product from this company anytime soon

Oh dear. I just placed an order. I wish I would have read the reviews first. I know they sent a coupon for 15% off online order with no min, but it did not work. That should have been a red flag. I will come back and edit this review when I receive my order. Eeeeks.
UPDATE.... I received my order, other than wishing I had ordered a S instead of a M, everything went smoothly, & I received my sweatpants on time. FYI... I am 5'7" & weigh about 122lbs, I usually wear a M, but these seem to run a little big.

I placed an order online and immediately contacted them to change a size on one of the pants. I was told no and that I would have to wait till I receive the order and then return it. Christmas is right around the corner I do not have time. With this day and age with a click of a button anything can be done I will no longer shop at this company that I've been shopping at for years

This is their return by mail policy. I do not live near a physical store and needed to return 2 items by mail. They refunded me minus an $8 shipping fee, which it clearly states will also be refunded if entitled. I followed all the return instructions, refolded and put in original bags, tags and labels all intact, printed out their return receipt and the original receipt and put in bag. Printed out the shipping label and secured it to the original shipping bag and brought to post office. Then had a 2 day argument with customer service when they didn't refund shipping. Their stance "its in our return policy" and proceeded to send me the policy which I've read over and over. They did refunded my shipping out of "courtesy " but it was such a hassle. I finally told them they need to READ their own policy and rewrite it because it clearly states the opposite of what they were telling me. My suggestion is if you like their products, don't order online unless you're sure of the fit.
Aerpostale is a bait and switch…
Aerpostale is a bait and switch company. On the web site they offer jeans buy one get one free, twice I bought jeans for the deal the first pair I thought it was me when I only received one pair of jeans, however the second pair never came. I just ordered another pair today and I knew that it was buy one get one free. The story they told was you have to order two. They would have charged additional money. Then I had to fight to cancel the order I made two hours earlier. They do not care about customers.

When I was shopping I got an offer for free shipping if I buy over $50 , I wasn't ready to buy more than two items but trying to get free shipping I did order 5 items for a total of $50.79 before taxes , total $56.89 after tax , the out of nowhere I received an email about two separate shipments and both have shipping cost , I called customer service and they claim my order is under $50 and they give me no option to send a screenshot with the proof of my account is being charged over $60 with shipping cost.... A total BS , sneaky people

The most unhelpful Customer support ever!!!
I have the worst shopping experience with this brand. They showed student discount on the website, when I go through the whole verification process to actually get the code, they said the code is invalid. When I reached customer support, they only said that they are sorry but the student discount is not available, with no further information no matter how many I asked them. They gave no explanation. They requires me to subscribe to email and text to receive the discount code but they all turn out to be invalid or not as much as they said. They claimed to have 15% discount for $50 receipt but the code actually apply for only 7%. You only get 7% out of the 15% code they gave you. When I ask customer support about this, they claimed that is because the codes are invalid even though the codes were sent through both email and text. I got so frustrated with the unhelpful customer service and decided against buying it.

I had a terrible experience buying Aeropostale loungeware from Ross. One leg is shorter than the other. It's unfortunate that companies that used to be big would manufacture and sell a garment with such a major flaw, pass quality control, and be offered to customers.

Love, love Aeropostale! The last time I went into there though, didn't see alot of adult clothing. I'm 33 now and was thinking what happened to all of the good sweatshirts?? Also, the women perfume could have better scents. Thanks!
Status Delayed for shipping
I placed an order on 7/8, no confirmation email was sent for the ordered stuff. So I go to my account to see the status. UPS tracking no was listed in the account. The label was created on 7/9 and UPS status since 9/10 shows delayed. I called up CS and was told to contact UPS or wait for the update by UPS. Aeropostale has very poor CS and I had a very bad experience!!! I hope they get their act together soon or they will loose customers. I have not received my package yet.

Wow. Sounds like a bunch of people had really bad experiences :/ That really sucks!
Fortunately, I had the opposite experience...I got fab clearance deals on camis, shelf-bra tanks, headwraps, all in the condition I expected...cheaper than ThredUp/Poshmark/Gap clearance and exactly what I wanted was available.
Shipment took longer to arrive than Chewy (Chewy's shipping turnaround is untouchable...). It def came in about a week after I ordered it.
They accidentally charged me for shipping. When I called, the customer service rep was friendly and took the $5 charge off my account immediately. No joke. I saw it pop up on my account within minutes from expressing my concern.

FRAUDULENT Business Practices - Orders history are completely gone
Orders history is completely gone. This is the third order we have had issues with. One order was processed, funds taken from bank, received order confirmation, a couple days later accessed the user profile and gone, contacted the CS and they looked it up and provided tracking. Another order same scenario except I was told the order was canceled and the funds were not taken. Which they were then credited back. Was told to replace order. No apology or anything. This most recent time same as above except order confirmation was received via email, funds taken from bank, funds taken from 2 x gift cards, tracking info was given in customer account. Tracking appeared to be updated over the course of a couple days. Log in to check the status and the order is gone. Contact CS and they claim the order was canceled because there was a bank error. Called bank. Nope not the case. CS claimed the order was never processed or funds taken. I asked how did we get tracking and updated tracking then? Why is the bank showing the transaction and why is the money missing from the gift cards. CS avoided all questions and said it will return in 24 hours. Then after further questioning told give it several days. Still no response on if the money will return to the gift cards. Now my whole order history is gone from my profile. Convenient. These guys are having major issues with their system and know it. Hoping their average customer which is teens let it go and they keep the money. Absolutely ridiculous.
No Purchase Delivered and No Reorder
I ordered a gift for my niece and after a month it did not arrive. I called their customer service to try and get a new one delivered and they just refunded my money and told me they were not able to reorder. I asked if they were out of stock and they told me to go to the store and buy it. Extremely unhelpful.

I would like to announce that I was not happy with my order because the items does not fit my size, and I would like to return, but shipping charges $8 for return. What a joke! Aeropostale is very rich and greedy as capitalism!
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I couldn’t understand why this company had such a bad experience until I shopped there. The reviews will steer you in the right direction so never ignore them. I wish that I hadn’t, they have the absolute worst customer service, terrible shipping and they will try everything to avoid refunding you your own money. Stay away from this company I’d rather spend my money with a company that appreciates my business and treats me with respect.
