Used Alaskan Windows on two occasions Michael the sales person explained everything and was not push like the others great fitting team with attention to detail would have no hesitation in recommending Alaskan Windows

Just had our old double glazing replaced by Alaskan Windows.
From the first survey to completion everything went smoothly.
Chris the fitter was very efficient, clean, tidy, and overall did a first class job. Extremely pleased and highly recommended.

Such a great company. My double glazing has just been completed and I am extremely pleased with both the fitting and the windows as well as the price. They were so professional and helpful even taking down my blinds and putting them back. Disruption was minimal and no mess left behind. I would fully recommend them. My fitter Chris was so polite and courteous at all times. Thank you Alaskan windows for making the process seem so easy!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! The level of service and attention to detail I received was exactly what I always hope for but so often don’t find.

We initially worked with Michael, who was very clear and prompt in all communications. The quote process was straightforward and not pushy like some window salespeople can be. We quickly arranged an installation date without a long wait, and the price was very competitive.

The fitters did an impeccable job installing our new windows. They worked long hours, managing to fit five windows in just one day. Their craftsmanship was thorough and detail-oriented, even going above and beyond to seal some of the brickwork. A huge thank you to the entire team!

Fitting was effortless, every step explained before hand and checked each night to see we had the installation we had hoped for-thank you Connor and Kyle every detail met and a finish that adds so much to the final appearance.

We even had a visit from the owner Alistair to check we were happy with the service and windows- he even made a speedy return to help my wife with the new locking system on the front door when she was unsure.

From prompt responses to emails and courteous response from accounts from order to installation we have been truly impressed.

Absolutely fantastic. Chose Alaskan to install 4 large sash windows as the frame widths are narrower than others. They sent a surveyor, an estimate and staged payment advice, ending at installation. 10 year guarantee. Installers were a great team and worked fast. They even managed to seal a window where the brickwork was a bit dodgy. Great quality product, made in the UK. Made a difference of 4+ deg during the winter and so easy to open and clean. Couldn't be more pleased.

The surveyor came to our flat and told us that there would be no problem installing the patio doors on our first floor balcony - one item might be tricky but it was all fine for our booked date of the 23rd of Jan. The next day we received a call from the sales team telling us that installation was impossible. I have written to the company asking for an explanation of this discrepancy but none has been forthcoming. This has really mucked us about and now delayed us by weeks for installation. I don't see how the surveyor can say everything is fine on Thursday and I can be told the exact opposite a day later. I think they just thought it would be too much work and just pulled out.

My window team arrived as stated. I watched the process everything seemed to be going well. An hour into taking out the windows i heard something crash or fall, I'm thinking glass from the window but it was my statue on the shelf that the worker knocked down and they broke Three of them and didn't tell me. I went in later and saw them lying to the side, upon completion he tried to put them back together and placed them back on the shelf without telling me. I told the guy in charge he said he would take care of it but left without a word. That was unacceptable sign west Memphis Ark

THE WINDOWS ARE GREAT. BUT I ASKED FOR THEM TO PICTURE FRAME MY WINDOWS WHEN THEY PUT THE METAL ON, AND ASKED THEM NOT TO SEND THE CREW THAT DID MY NEIGHBORES HOUSE BECAUSE THEY USED TO MUCH CAULKING. I INSTALLED WINDOWS FOR 15 YRS. THEN LOOKED AT HOW THEY DID THE WINDOWS. THEY HAVE COME UP WITH A SYSEM THAT ITS ALL CHAULKING TO HOLD THE WINDOWS IN. THEY DIDN'T TRIM MY WINDOWS WITH ONE BY FOURS LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE, ITS A ILLUSION. BUT THEY STILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE LABOR. THEY DIDN;T DO WHAT I ASKED. IT WAS, THATS THE WAY WE DO IT. WRONG ANSWER. CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. WINDOWS ARE GREAT, SIDING CREWS SUCK. JUST A BUNCH OF MEXICANS WORKING FOR CHEAP LABOR.

My wooden door was always causing me problems. My son decided that he would buy a new one for me and asked me to look for some quotes. I came across one company who asked me to measure my own door (I was not impressed).
My neighbour had her door installed by Alaskan Windows and it looks lovely and she said they fitted it within a few hours. I went on their website and filled out my specifications for the type of door I wanted. I then received a quote quite quickly, within 2 days. I made an appointment and a representative (Michael) came by. A lovely man, so easy to talk to. He showed us their catalogue. He then answered our questions and gave us some important information on the installation process and left us to decide what we wanted to do. He didn’t force us to make a quick decision or tell us he would be coming back for our answer. It was easy to decide that Alaskan Windows were right for us. Once the decision was made their engineer Tony came around to take the door measurements. Once again, another pleasant man with a lovely personality. On the day of the installation, Chris came and put on my door. Again, another nice man, like Michael and Tony, who's very easy to talk to. He arrived 7.55 am and was explaining to me by10.33 am how to lock and unlock the door he fitted.

I am so happy with my beautiful door.

I had to get back to Alaska Windows by email later in the evening. I needed assistance to remember how to lock the door (DOH!). It seemed so easy when Chris showed me. When I showed my children, I had forgotten how to lock it smoothly without trying it 3-4 times.
The next morning, Lucy called me and said Tony would come over and show me again. He was at my house within 10 minutes as he was already in my area. He showed me several times and made sure that he didn’t leave until I was more confident locking and opening the door. Tony is such a happy guy, you can’t help laughing when he is around.

Alaskan Windows are a lovely company. They know their job and they do it well. Everyone, including the people who work in the office, (Heini, Lucy and Jessie) come across professionally. They are a fantastic company and I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

We had French windows fitted to the garden from our kitchen. From start to finish everything about the experience with Alaskan was 10/10. No hard-sell, and they gave their best price from the outset, which was in any case actually the lowest price of the three companies we got quotes from (who had all claimed initially that we were getting their best price then proceeded to lower significantly to try to match Alaskan!). From quoting to measuring up and fitting, everyone was efficient, friendly and transparent about the process. They had come highly recommended from a local friend and I've already recommended them to another friend who wants new back doors.

High pressure tactics with a smile. NO means call their coach for a lower price. The finance terms didn't match the verbal commitment at time of sale. They use non english speaking migrant workers that left the job site for hours. At the end they force you to give good reviews after installation.
No one can be candid when you're in your house with strangers face to face. The referral program is to give them credibility on my name. Once I realized the hustle. I provided NO contacts.. they have law suits against them. And since it's referral based folks trust the friend or family. Manipulative tactics during the presentation allow them to gather potential leads. Never again.

Great price for my windows. Second time i have used them now. Great Customer service. From ordering to measuring and installation. All great.
Not a huge company but excellent communication and follow up.
