A good source of "new old stock" gear. In this case a Pro-ject DAC box E mobile. I was looking for a low cost upgrade to replace the headphone outlet of my desktop computer. This is a great solution to my problem.

I contacted Martin N. at Analogue Seduction because I wanted to buy an upgrade kit for my ADOT MC03 Optical Fibre Ethernet converter, and they were the only place I could find one for sale.

Martin was very friendly, by phone and email and kept me updated with the online order progress - because the item took a few days to be sent to them.
The item duly arrived and for such a cheap upgrade (£145) it made a *massive* difference to the sound quality of my system, expensive as it is.

The Pro-Ject Phono Box Ultra S2 phono amp made an immediate improvement in sound quality and separation in the soundstage. It accommodates MM and MC cartridges and once dialed in to your specifics it makes a difference you can feel. Very happy with this addition to our system.

I have an old vinyl copy of Sargent Pepper that a “friend” had leant against a radiator put a 1cm bend across a 15cm chord on the edge of the record. Analogue Seduction returned the record to flat as can be and also cleaned it very well. It didn’t play perfectly becau good morning everyonese the radiator heat had damaged the shape of some of the grooves. Given the extent of the damage I was impressed by what AS were able to do. Their communication was also excellent extending to a video of the record playing on a turntable. When I got the disc back it was very well packed. I don’t think Analogue Seduction could have done more in exchange for the modest amount of money I sent them… Horray!

I had a £2500 budget to spend on speakers. They all sounded superb with modern recordings. But they sounded poor on my 1970's FLAC stuff. So Martin produced a pair of PMC's which brought the recordings alive. I am enjoying them now, slowly running them in. After ten years of searching for the sound I lost, I finally have it back.
