I had a fantastic experience at Ancaster Croydon from the point of ordering a new car all the way through to collecting it! Alfie was amazing at Ancaster Chislehurst. He went above and beyond. He was very professional at all times. All the staff there are very helpful and there seems a great atmosphere between them all. It’s always a pleasure to visit Nissan Penge. I’ve been using that service centre since I bought my car. It’s been 10 years and I still experience the same top level of customer care. Safe clean environment, good selection of drinks and free WiFi. The service is always professional and the staff friendly and professional. As soon as we stepped into Ancastwr MG Shepperton we could feel a good vibe. We were asked if we needed help but we're happy to leave us be as we said we were just looking. However, we saw a car we really liked and Jordan helped us through the buying process. He kept us updated the whole way through. Everyone who worked there seemed lovely and genuinely wanted the best for us. The manager personally thanked us for buying our car from them. I recommend Ancaster Shepperton to anyone wanting to buy a car.

I advise you to never buy a car from Ancaster, and never buy a MG4.
Bought a MG4 from Ancaster 2/9/25, on 19/9/25 developed serious fault. I asked for a full refund as is my right under the 2015 Consumers right act, as the fault had materialised with 30 days of purchase. Ancaster declined saying the car only required a software update and they could "find no fault with the vehicle". On 14/2/26, the car failed again with the exactly the same problem. Currently I am seeking redress with The Motor Ombudsman.

Update 17/02/26 : Ancaster tell me they cannot book the car in for repair until 12th March, nor will they offer me a courtesy car in the meantime. I need a courtesy car as I consider the MG4 too dangerous to drive in its current state. I've driven a total of 600 miles in 6 months, and for nearly two months the car has been unusable, either in for investigation/repair in September at Ancaster, and now awaiting repair
Update 23/02/26 - Despite being assured that Terry Groves, the After Sales Manager, would contact me a week ago, he's not been in touch. I phone him again today and am given the run around. Come on Terry, give me a phone and hear first hand how abysmally I have been treated
Update 5/4/26 - car went in "for repair" mid March. Same problem recurred today 5th April

I recently ordered and collected a new electric vehicle from Hyundai Croydon excellent service when looking went through the vehicles they offered with the salesman test drove and ordered the vehicle I liked collected it a few weeks later excellent service at Hyundai Croydon.

Great experience and customer service at Ancaster MG Dartford. The team followed up with me before and after buying a car. Good attention to detail and deliver what's promised. Special thanks to Stephen Loosley who's doing a great job. I'll come back here for my next car.

Shocking, Misleading and Completely Unacceptable'
This dealership sold me a recalled nissan , which is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. Even worse, within just buying the car, the lithium battery developed major fault. this is a 3 year old car with 28000 miles, so there is absolutely no excuse for such a critical failure.
I also paid for a 3 year extended warranty and was clearly told by the sales representative that covered everything except exterior wear and tear. Now that a major issue has occurred, the dealership is suddenly refusing responsibility and changing the story. This is blatantly misleading and feels like deliberate tactic to avoid honoring what was promised.
Selling a recalled car, misrepresenting warranty coverage and then refusing to stand by the customer is completely unprofessional and unethical. The lack of accountability and transparency has been shocking.
I strongly warn anyone considering this dealer to check recall status themselves, get every warranty details checked , and donot rely on verbal assurance. I thought that buying from such a recognised dealer like Ancaster will be a peace of mind but now regret doing it. From last 3 months every time I drive the car I feel cheated and that sense of helplessness is affecting me.
I regret buying from them and would never recommend them to anyone.

Simon Morris is one Amazing Sales Personel. To say he went above and beyond to make my experience the best possible without delay and nothing was too much, I left not just happy but speechless at his professionalism and the way he made me feel. He spent quality time with me and even sent me a individual tailored video clip of the vehicle I had in mind, which was magical and he made sure I understood everything and was satisfied as I was buying a Brand New Car. I couldn't fault him and it will be an honour to return in the future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
