WARNING. Take note of all the other reviews and do NOT use this company. I would have given them minus -1 stars if I could.
I signed up November last year and was told maybe December but if not, January for sure.
But no, December came and went and so did January and not even February!
So I called them and they promised I would get a call in the first week of March, but NO! That did not happen either.
So then I was promised a phone call by the last week of March. But NO, that also did not happen.
Then I got a call from someone who could not speak good English and was so unprofessional in every way that I thought he must have been a conn artist.
Now in April, I get and email saying that things have changed and I may have to put up with a smaller battery size and they will be charging me a new price that was not what I was quoted and signed up for.
RUN! Do NOT use this company.
I noted one person had their system catch on fire.
If you proceed with them, do so at your own risk.
It will not end well.
EDIT: After doing some checking with AI, I find they can and do pick and choose the best customers and sign up as many as they can before the rebate starts to close down and hence they deliberately much you around until you cancel as this is what they want and still gain from this. There is more to the story but to complicated to explain in short. Talk about unethical and crooked!

Our recently installed batteries have stopped working despite many calls to Arise Solar trying to get the issue resolved. There has been no action on the part of Arise Solar, I would strongly advise anyone looking to get a battery package to look at other companies
Appalling communication. Not trustworthy
Contract for solar + battery signed in July 2025. Estimated installation October 2025. Constant promises that the installation team will be in contact, none of which ever eventuate. Now even the online customer support team cant be bothered responding.
Completely unprofessional and unethical conduct by a company that doesn't deserve your business. Look elsewhere. Anywhere else.
Frustrated & disgusted customer
I signed up with this company in August 2025 and am still waiting for installation. They never return calls when they say they will. It has now been over 8 months with no end in sight. I'm still waiting for a call back I made a week ago. Based on my experience I would avoid this company like the plague . I'm disappointed that Travis Head is the face of this company in their adds. It's a blight on his reputation.

System caught fire and Arise deny claim to fix
I had a 13.2 kw system installed in March 2021. This included Longi panels and twin sungrow inverters.
System caught fire in Feb 2026. One of the external isolators simply caught fire which could have burnt the house down

It was obviously a defective installation however Arise solar state its out of warranty. Note that under consumer law negligent installations are never ok
Buyer beware
Buyer beware. They designed our solar system for Sydney with a massive solar array facing south despite having available roof space facing north. If they can't get basic solar system designs right, what's the hope of them getting the system installed properly?
AVOID!! Don't be tempted by the cheap quote..
This company is unethical and bordering on a scam. I should have known better when "Jason" had a South Asian accent. Yes, they offered a great price and sounded convincing - but only until they get your deposit. I contacted them in November and went with them based on their cheapest quote of 3 companies. They advised they could install in 6 weeks - around early Feb, which sounded great.
Fortunately, I only paid a deposit of $200. Since then, I have not been able to get ANY answer from anyone about installation. They have sent me 3 emails requesting for pictures of this and that, but each time I reply with the information, I get no reply regarding installation. It's now March and I've received zero response. I tried calling them back on the numbers they called me on, but they are invalid numbers.
If I get this type of treatment now, I fear what type of treatment I would get after I paid my 50% deposit.. or worse, what treatment I would get when something goes wrong after installation, or I need to claim warranty. I'm going to go with a local company and forego my $200 deposit.

If I could do no stars I would. This company has the worst customer service they hassle you then you hear nothing once they have your money. They forged our signature on a legal document after I would not sign paperwork due to being wrong. I have taken legal actions on this as this is wrong in so many ways and still no explanation from them.
Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs! The sales people at Arise Solar are predatory in their practices, unethical and borderline criminal. When challenged on the basic fundamentals of a solar system, they became frustrated, irritated and then became malicious by constantly spamming my phone with unsolicited messages from multiple numbers with no ability to unsubscribe or opt out of these communications. Do not give these people your phone number as you’ll be constantly bombarded with spam messaging. I was contacted by a manager named “Darren” who assured me they would remove my phone number and address the sales approach with the staff member. The very next day I received further spam messages from them. Avoid this company at all costs, don’t be fooled by their apparent cheap prices, use a more reputable company.

This case was found non-compliant in 2024. That is almost 2 years that we have provided Arise time to overcome this issue. I am unfortunately not able to provide flexibility anymore.
Paid for inspection, nothing done.
I am posting this to warn others about Arise Solar’s after-sales service.
On 09 January 2026, I contacted Arise Solar due to reduced solar production and requested a solar panel inspection. A ticket was created titled “Solar Inspection”, and I was asked to pay $220 upfront before any booking could be made.
Despite paying immediately and following up multiple times over several weeks, no booking was arranged. When a technician finally arrived, he stayed for less than five minutes and clearly stated that he only checks inverters and does not inspect solar panels. No inspection was carried out, and no report was provided.
Arise Solar then claimed the job was complete, redefined it as a “site inspection”, and refused a refund. I was told I should have known the difference, even though it was never explained, and the ticket was explicitly labelled “Solar Inspection”.
When I escalated the issue, the customer service manager was dismissive, accused me of lying, laughed about Fair Trading, and threatened legal action if I left a review.
No service was delivered. Extremely poor communication and accountability.
Shocking service delays
After consent ringing I agreed to sign the contract and pay the deposit to have new panels installed.
Now they are phoning to say it will take months to get to site due to no staff and that if I want the job done quicker I need to upgrade to a battery!.
I rung them to discuss and they said if I'm not happy to look else ware... not much of a company. i will look to take them to the ACCC. Use someone else.

I’ve had a terrible experience with Arise Solar. My system has never worked properly since installation, and every time I raised concerns, my cases were closed without any real action.
I’m now dealing with a serious safety issue involving dangerously high voltage in my home, confirmed by a licensed electrician, and it has already damaged appliances. Despite this, I’ve received no meaningful support or urgency from Arise Solar.
This has been incredibly frustrating and stressful, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
I expected professionalism and accountability. Instead, I got excuses and silence. This company has left me with a system I can’t trust and safety risks no one should have to deal with. I would strongly warn others to look elsewhere.

installed in wrong spot (inverter) so sun damaged means you can't read the meter to see if its working, this company has cost us a lot , really wasn't worth putting it on , now they say we have a dead inverter and are out of warranty , please stay away from Arise Solar and their installer Solax

Terrible experience. After agreeing on a quote and paying my deposit, I was bombarded with texts from multiple numbers asking for endless signatures. Three weeks later, they claimed a “mistake” and demanded another $1,500. I refused — and now they’re keeping my deposit.
Do not trust this company. Be warned.

Not only that, this company creates fake google accounts to leave reviews as the customers, without their consent.
I was told when I signed up that lead time was 3-5 weeks. Then it was excuse after excuse. No stock, waiting for installer, haven't heard back from installers. It's been 3 months.
They promise to get back to you and don't, I've had to chase them so many times. They promised a call back within 10 minutes and never called back. I rang them and they just said they forgot. Was promised 2 dates that never happened. Promised an email to confirm new dates the following week, never happened.
Don't pay any money up front, or use their interest free option because you will be stuck. I've requested a refund and to cancel but waiting to hear back. They just want your money, and then give you the run around.
Even once installed, the other reviews all say how dodgy the installs were, or something went wrong, or they had to pay more on the day to the installer. They are dodgy as.
Two months after signing — no response, no installation, no accountability
I signed a contract with Arise Solar in August 2025, after being clearly told that installation would occur in October. It’s now been over two months, and I still have no confirmed installation date and no meaningful response from the company.
After repeated calls and emails, I was finally told that “stock is not there,” with vague promises of a possible installation “sometime in November.” Since then — complete silence. No follow-up, no update, and no indication of when, or even if, the work will happen.
This level of disorganisation and lack of communication is unacceptable for a company advertising itself as professional and reliable. I’ve had to escalate the matter to Consumer and Business Services SA just to get some accountability.
