I’ve had an awful experience from the beginning. I originally ordered a full APR exhaust system for my new Golf R Black Edition back in May 2025 after seeing they had the exhaust in stock on their website, but after further enquiries I was told I would have to wait till August. I went ahead and ordered the exhaust, along with new suspension and carbon fibre induction kit for my new car. August came and my car was booked in to have the work done and the appointment was confirmed with Lisa, who was handling my order. I arrived from North Wales after travelling over 1 hour to find the exhaust wasn’t in stock and their delivery had been delayed. As you can imagine I wasn’t happy, but they went ahead and fitted the suspension and I had to wait for the exhaust.

Eventually the APR exhaust the was fitted a few weeks later and I left happy with the result. The car looked good, everything was well and albeit it took a lot longer than planned I left happy.

A few months has past and I noticed some rust starting to appear on the Exhaust tips which are supposed to be stainless steel, so I reached back out to the sales team to report the issue and sent over some photos. Communication was slow but they eventually decided they would replace the exhaust tips but I would have to wait 3+ months for the items to come into stock (This was back in October 2025). We're now in March 2026 and the tips are pretty badly corroded, the back box is algo beginning to show signs of spot rusting and I'm still waiting for a resolution. I've continually tried keeping in contact with the team at Awesome GTI for an update but I just keep being told 'I have to wait' or 'we'll get back to you' once they have an update.

I've requested the system be changed, or swapped with another branded system but nothing has been done.

Racingline's new 301 Bootloader (for the DQ381 DSG) and intercooler were installed very quickly and efficiently. The new unlocked mechatronics has transformed the drivability of my 2023 Golf R Mk8 which had a locked 401 Bootloader. It's a different car. I can now use Racingline's PDM high torque ECU files. I am delighted. The Awesome team were very courteous, helpful, communicated well and made my visit very enjoyable. Outstanding.

I purchased some wheel spacers and a performance panel filter from Awesome GTI. The items arrived really quickly and I received delivery updates by E-Mail.

Annoyingly I purchased some other car parts elsewhere and have since seen the same items cheaper with Awesome GTI! I will definitely be buying from them again.

Great customer Service.
I was advised on a forum to use Awesome for a clutch change.
My expectations were met, the time the car was in with them was spot on. Their facilities are out of this world,, I've visited garages in Germany that are great, but there's blow Germany out the park. Great customer service and I couldn't notice any clutch judder, which I was experiencing before the job was done.

Nearly 3 weeks for brake discs and pads to arrive, false information regarding delivery. First contact was a week ago, waited in almost every day since. Will never use again.

Staff at Awesome GTi are great, their advertising of availability on parts however is poor.

Ordered Koni Special Actives for my Sprinter via their Koni Shop website. The items arrived the next day! Unfortunately, there were some issues with the versions of shocks delivered. I flagged it with them and within 30 minutes they proposed a solution after having checked with Koni. The correct shocks arrived 18 hours later. Throughout it, their communication was exemplary. Customer service at its best!

I ordered some coilovers from AwesomeGTI as they claimed they were in stock on their website. Shortly after ordering, they sent me an email notifying me that these were not in stock and that the turnaround was more than 3 weeks for delivery (should have been a red flag).

I asked them to proceed as I knew I wouldn't be able to get them anywhere else and for the price they had them at. I received a confirmation email and waited. I was then surprised when they turned up in just under two weeks later, however upon opening it was very clear that the parts were not for my car, as I had received coilovers for a Passat and not a Skoda Fabia.

I emailed them about this and they admitted that it was their mistake of miss typing the product number by a single digit. That wouldn't be so bad if they then took a week to collect the wrong coilovers they sent me and then nearly another week to order the new ones after this. They did double check with me if I had ordered the correct parts (of which I had done so originally) however this delayed the order by more than 4 days, of which I was not best pleased with.

Might add, they did also offer an alternative, however I was wanting what I originally ordered, and would have had them at this point if they hadn’t made a typo mistake.

As of writing this review I am still waiting for the new coilovers to arrive (I ordered the coilovers on 24th February, and will likely not receive the parts till 7th April). They’ve wasted my time, and the money I saved going with AwesomeGTI has now been lost having to insure myself on a different vehicle due to these coilovers fixing a broken spring with my previous coilovers.

I will admit, they have treated me ok in all the correspondence I have had with them, however it wasn’t “awesome” and doesn’t defeat the fact that they lied on their website advising that these were in stock. I was definitely blinded by the price being lower than their competitors and could argue my single case was unfortunate, but they won't be getting my service again after this has finished. I regret not walking away sooner, but please take this as a warning of what you may be getting yourself into when ordering parts online from them.

I made my order and from that point on I was kept informed and the exhaust turned up quickly ,well packed and now its fitted sounds great. Previously I needed some info about the exhaust so I emailed and my questions were answered quickly.

I was advised to visit Awesome Gti and Paid for Diagnostics £99 to find out the root cause of the issue with my Audi. After finding out the issue I was told that they would be in touch with a price to complete the work! Almost 2 weeks later I’m still waiting! Their team were great on the day. I was even given a guided tour of their state of the art and very impressive workshop by Mark who heads up the Awesome Gti business (very nice fella). Just a Pitty about the ‘Not so Awesome’ aftercare service! Disappointing.

I went for a reflash of ecu and tcu and i have to say i was very impressed with the service and with the work carried out. Really professional set up and the people are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend and i will be back for more no doubt

Job was done on car and happy with result, but there was a issue with the backing plates behind the brake disc, no phone call was made to tell me this issue and they just cracked on with the job and put back on the corroded backing plates, after picking up the car I was still not addressed about the issue and it also wasn’t written on the report so I was none of the wiser until the next day taking the car for a mot and hearing it sound like a bag of spanner’s.. I’ve rang a handful of times now and promised a call back… still waiting 😴

Awesome company mark has actually gone above and beyond and I couldn't have asked for better service

Paid £600+ to have work done to solve a problem however the problem wasn't solved. Raised the issue with them and was simply told "Well you didn't pay £99 for the diagnostic work so can't have a refund".

They /kindly/ offered me 10% off the diagnostics as a goodwill gesture.

I would have left five stars but due to dx delivery I feel like leaving one star
Ordered a scorpion cat back system and r8 red coilpacks dx really let awesome gti down badly and let me down aswell the lazy dx driver left my exhaust at the wrong address he hadn't even tryed to deliver it to the address on the box witch was clear to see the name and address
The lady he left it with has serious health issues with very poor mobility problems. She informed the guy that the person who's names on the box lived up the next gate he the dx delivery driver said its OK I will just leave it here so my exhaust was left outside her door for one hour because she couldn't lift it she eventually got someone to come and tell me that there was a parcel for me I was f###ing raging where I live it's like the bronx and the chances of getting your parcel if it does go to the wrong address are Slim he didn't even try to deliver it having cctv is a wonderful thing when a lazy driver says awe he wasn't in i left it with a neighbour rant over. Awsome gti said your items will be delivered by the end of the week and they were was more than happy with the team at awsome who assured me that the problem with dx would be dealt with so I hope it is
The parts were all in good order nothing missing nothing damaged 5* to awsome negative 10 to dx delivery

Fantastic team, previous map was non-existent in terms of power and was causing my boost to run too high, Awesome removed this map and put an APR map on there, completely changed the car.

Great company, very smooth transaction. I needed an RTS clutch quickly and they got it to me within a few days and on time. Easy to get in contact with and great customer service. Thanks for your help guys.

Absolute joke of a Company any excuse not to honour online prices absolute rip off company avoid

Awesome are as the name suggests! I've used them for 3 years and never had an issue. Communication is always clear and help is on hand whenever it's needed.

So i recently bought a car with quite a bit of service history ect, i was told that it had a remap at Awesome but i had no way of confirming this. I needed to buy a clutch and needed one that could handle the power, so i needed to know if indeed a remap had been carried out. So i phoned Awesome with a request to see if it had indeed been tuned. I had very little information but Lisa tried everything she could (spending more time than could reasonably be expected) to find the information i required from Awesome's records with the limited information that i could supply. Lisa could not find the information in Awseome's records and so we ended the phone call but i was very thankful for the effort Lisa had put in. Well, 10 minutes later Lisa phoned me to tell me she had tracked down the info from an external source, and told me exactly what i needed to know, again she had no obligation to do this. So all i can say that if this is the level of customer service i can expect then i would be very happy to entrust my pride and joy to these guys. Lisa you are a credit to the company and you have won a customer today. Chocolate to follow. Oh and i bought the clutch.

Visited Awesome GTI when the cruise control stopped working after they carried out a remap on a Skoda Octavia vRS. Previous owner of the car sold it to me with this issue making me fully aware and also that Awesome Gti had agreed to fix it if they found a fault.
Made an appointment and visited their workshop in Manchester and was berated and shouted at in the waiting room by one of the managers as they were adamant there was no way the car would have left their workshop without the cruise control working. When I asked them to prove it they lost their rag. They charged me for enabling the cruise control function which I paid under dispute and later claimed back from my credit card company.
A scum company run by thugs.
