DELIVERY SCAM
Ordered a toilet from Bella Bathrooms and the whole delivery experience left a lot to be desired. Their courier (Stop Start) turned up in an unreasonably early 7:06am slot barely anyone is up and answering the door at that hour. Understandable that failed deliveries can happen, but Bella Bathrooms then tried to charge me £39.95 for a "redelivery fee" on top of the £39.95 delivery i had already paid. meaning total delivery would have been £79.99 or a toilet. they refused to waive it despite the slot itself being the problem, not any fault on my end.
When I asked to cancel instead, they said they'd deduct a "return cost" from my refund for goods that were never actually delivered to me in the first place. Had to push back and point out that's not how the Consumer Contracts Regulations work; you can't charge someone to "return" something they never received.
No flexibility, no goodwill gesture, just a rigid attempt to make the customer pay for a delivery scheduling issue that wasn't mine to begin with. Would think twice before ordering again.

I'm sorry you're not happy that you have not received the flexibility or goodwill gesture that you think you are entitled to. I have read the email conversation between you and Joanne. In which she has said
The item shows as available for immediate dispatch on the website, so it was dispatched yesterday morning when we picked up your order. We sent an email advising that your delivery would be today, and the courier sent you a text with the time slot. She then quoted, from your first email ""I appreciate the text did specify a 7:00–7:30am window, and I take the point that a charge for a missed delivery isn't unreasonable in principle where a slot has been given".
Bella Bathrooms, and the courier, have fulfilled our contractual duty by attempting delivery, therefore the delivery charge still stands.
You agreed to the terms and conditions, received an email advising you of your delivery day and received a time slot from the courier, at no time advised us that the day wasn't suitable, and state this is not any fault on your end. If you had advised us that you are not available to accept delivery on certain days we would have delivered on a day which is convenient.
It has been explained in the last email sent to you that the sections from the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 that you 'had to push back and point out' don't apply to the situation at all, as the points you've defended have not been mentioned at all.

DO NOT USE - will not replace damaged items
We had a damaged vanity unit they wouldn't replace for free since it has been 10 days since delivery and it wasn't reported damaged within 24 hours of delivery. It is simply not realistic for our builders to open everything within 24 hours as the flat is extremely small and the order included items like glass shower enclosures which would have been extremely precarious to store everything until it was time to install. We were charged both for a replacement and delivery - they won't even provide that for free. Don't order anything from Nuie - they won't replace damaged items with you paying more. Do not use them unless you are able to open up everything within 24 hours of receiving them

You agreed to the terms and conditions when you clicked Place Order Now and were sent an email 4 days before your delivery, stating that the items needed to be checked. You cannot morally choose to ignore this advice and then complain about it later.
Not only did you not check your goods and report damage in 24 hours, but it took 10 days to check the goods. If damage had been reported within 24 hours, we would have sent you a replacement free of charge, but, unfortunately, as the item was being moved around in a "small flat" where renovations were taking place for 10 days, we can not replace it free of charge. The responsibility to check the goods, or to assign someone to ensure the items were not damaged on delivery, is yours.

Great experience
Needed to replace a cracked RAK toilet seat. Found the correct one on Bella (could double check with dimensions provided). Great price, ordered two and they arrived within a couple of days. Brilliant !

Well any difficulties re delivery were not in any way due to them. Tracking was spot on delivery accurate and subsequent actions by company were really helpful in a situation not caused by them. Am sure the product when installed will be fit for purpose at a very competitive price. But this confidence from this seller. You will get 10* treatment from start to finish including tracked delivery.

All good but a slight concern
Goods delivered as described. Only slight concern was the polystyrene packing which was a board broken up and stuffed into the box it came in. Goods weren’t damaged but I wouldn’t be trusting that packing method to work every time.
